JAY's POV

Today is Monday. Me and the guys were in the lounge room waiting for the girls to come. They decided that they want to come together everyday.

"Jayden what are you planning for Valentine's Day?" Ashley asks me

"Well, I am going to Dal's house after school to plan her surprise."

"Surprise for what, are you finally going to ask her out?" Romeo asks

"No, to be my Valentine's Partner. Asking her out will be soon though"

"Nice, what did you plan?" Dullon

"Yea, I am not saying anything"

Before anyone could do or say anything, the girls entered and Yas walked towards Dullon as the rest watched her.We all looked at her as she reached and kissed him before saying 'I really like you too and I'm willing to try this'. Dullon smiled and embraced her

"Yes""finally""no way" were the responses given

"I am so happy for you guys" Dal said looking at the newest couple before she came to me

"Hey" she said wrapping her arms around my torso

"Hey cara, how was the sleepover?" I ask wrapping my arms around her waist looking down at her

"The best sleepover" she replied before stepping out of my arms

The girls stayed for a while and with 10 minutes left walked out to their first class

"Can you guys distract the girls or atleast Dalia after school so I can plan the surprise?"

"Sure"

The day dragged on cause nobody likes monday. It's now after school.
I asked Dullon If their parents are at home and they are which is good...

"Hey girls, can we go to Dal Rose because I promised my cousin I'll buy him something?" Ashley asks

"Sure, we'll meet you there"

I walked over to Lia and have her a forehead kiss before driving off to her house. Once I got there, I knocked on the door and Lia's mom opened the door

"Hello Mrs Kastoor, how are you doing?"

"Hey Jayden. I am doing great son. How many times have I told you to call me Rose" she said while letting me in

"Maybe a few" I replied sheepishly

"So what can I help you with? If you're looking for Dullon, he's not here yet"

"I am not here for him, i came to ask You and Mr Kastoor something"

We walked into the living room where Mr Kastoor was

"Afternoon Damien"

"Hey son"

"So what can we help you with?" Rose asked

"Uhm, so I came here t...to ask if I could do a surprise for your daughter to uhm ask her out for Valentines? And also to pursue her later because I really really like Dalia and I promise to make her happy and protect her" I asked nervously running a hand through my hair whilst waiting for them to answer

"Awww, that is so sweet" Rose says with teary eyes

"Sure you can Sonny. It's not an everyday thing that you see a guy come ask for permission. So I Damien Kastoor, gives you permission for my girly" Damien said hugging me

"Thank You so much, it means alot. I want to do things the right way. Call me old fashioned but for me it is the best way to start a relationship,I am going head to her room now."

I go outside after talking, to collect the materials then head upstairs to her room once inside the house.

When I got into the room. I looked around the neat room before walking over to the bed tying the balloons that asks the questions and placing some of her favourite treats on the bed with rose petals and a letter with giftbags

Finally done, I light the small candles and close all the curtains.

"Wow, this is beautiful"

I jumped not expecting that "You scared me, uh thank you" I turned to Rose

"Sorry dear, I didn't intend to scare you. This would mean so much to her. No one has ever done such a thing for Dal especially with her overprotective father and brother. You'll make her feel like she matters"

"That's the main point. She is special and needs to be treated like a queen" I answer

"Is there something you need help with?"

"No, thank you. I am done now." I reply as we head out the room closing the door on the way out

We reached the living room. I said my goodbyes and her dad wished me luck.

I texted Ashley saying I am done now and thanking him for the distraction.

I head home, shower and do some school work before heading down to the kitchen to eat something whilst waiting for some response from my girl

"Hey, you okay?" My older brother asked

"Yea why?" Lookin up at him

"I've been sitting here since you came in and you didn't seem to notice or greet me, did I do something I don't remember?" He says

"No, it's not you. I..ugh nevermind" I reply walking away

"Jayden King, get your behind back here" I hear him shout

"What's with all the shouting" mom asks as she comes down the stairs

"There's something wrong with Jayden and he doesn't want to talk about it"

"Jayden sweetheart, what's wrong?"

"Its just, is it normal for someone to feel insecure?"

"Sometimes it is. It actually depends on the situation. So what's making you insecure?"

"I uh planned a surprise for Dalia for Valentines and now I'm waiting for an answer. But, what if she doesn't feel the same. I don't think I'll be able to move on if she rejects. She really changed my perspective about love and all that stuff." I said looking at my mom with eyes that probably show too much emotions

"Oh my baby. Look boy, if you're meant to be she will come to you okay. I have seen the way you look at her and treat her. If she doesn't feel the same, let her go. You will only just hurt yourself if you don't. Also, I think she might like you from what I've heard. So hold on to that little hope and have faith child." Mom says whilst hugging me

"Thank You mommy" I mumbled softly before walking up to my room to rest for a while cause all this waiting is giving me a headache
