Just as we were about to...

JAY'S POV

We were about to kiss when the door of the lounge room slammed open causing the two of us to jump apart

"Hel-" Dullon cut himself off when he saw our position

The rest of our friends were behind him looking at us with smiles. However, Lia blushed and avoided eye contact with them mumbling under her breath 'kill me now' whilst I glared at them for interrupting something special

I cleared my throat before saying " You finally decided to come, where were ya'll?"

" We were all on our own paths to celebrate Valentines, I didn't know you two were so cozy enough to be in such a intimate position ?" Yasmine said while smirking

"You disturbed us before anything could happen" Lia mumbled so lowly that only I could hear

I smiled whispering back so only she could hear "Never knew that you wanted to kiss me"

She looked at me with a flushed face smiling and leaned over "Nur weil ich dich mag" (just because I like you)

I looked at her confused since I don't know German but whatever she said made Dullon to gasp. I looked at him and asked
"What did she say?"

You know what the idiota did? He laughed walking to the couch while pulling Yasmine with him as they sat down on the couch

"O, she said nothing bad don't worry"

I glared at him " I still want to know regardless of whether it is good or bad"

He shrugged looking over to his sister "Du musst es ihm sagen" (You need to tell him)

"Ich weiß, ich werde heute " she answered (I know, I will today)

The rest of us groaned making the two look at us

"Its not fair that we don't understand what you are saying, for all we know you could be insulting us" Florence muttered

"As if, look at her angelic face and tell me if she could utter something bad" Dullon said

Lia and I ignored them all continuing our conversation as we were waiting for the bell to ring. We had our hands intertwined and Lia would occasionally rub circles on my hand making me smile and feel somewhat relaxed due to the special day and it doesn't help with the fact that I'm really nervous wanting to make today a very extraordinary day for my sweetheart

The ringing of the bell stopped all conversations as we started heading towards the first class. The girls sat in the row right in front of us, I guess it was so we could be closer to our beloveds.

Without my conscious I was lost in gazing at my princesa so much so that I had not seen or heard the teacher enter and start the lesson

"JAYDEN!" Our teacher yelled

I jumped at the loud noise before straightening myself up in the chair as I stared at the teacher whilst the rest of the class stared at me some snickering, others shocked and my friends were looking at me in amusement

" U. Uh, yes Mrs?" my eyes widened as I stuttered, all my life I was never these speechless. I can't believe this is really happening. Damn, my family will never let it go without tormenting me

"I know you are obsessed with the beautiful lady in front of you but please for now pay attention" she smiled knowingly

My jaw dropped as the class whooped and started chanting 'Jaylia'. Lia was blushing and laid her head on the table. As for me, I could feel the heat on my face as I was flushed due to being caught. I mumbled a 'sure Mrs' sinking down in the chair as if it could make me invisible

I could hear my friends snickers as they did not want to be called out by the teacher. Soon enough the bell rang and we moved on to the next class. Nobody said anything about what happened.

The rest of the classes went and now it was lunch time

"Amore mio, let's go" I said to Lia wrapping an arm around her waist as we headed for the school's parking lot

As we neared the car I had Romeo call out
"Hey, were you two going off to?"

The both of us ignored him as I opened the door for Lia and once she settled in I went to my side but not before hearing Gina complain about how we ignored her boyfriend although apparently Jaylia was sailing.

I started the car before pulling out
"babygirl, do you mind putting our devices on mute" I ask glancing at her as she blushed at the endearment

Instead of replying she did what I asked, we drove with soft music playing as we talked among ourselves. The good thing about our school is that on events we have a half day meaning after the lunch we don't have to return to school.

The place I had in mind for the lunch is in the forest a little kilometers outside of Cali. A hour later we reached the place as I parked the car and went to the other side of the car to open the door for Lia.

Once she was out I went to the trunk and retrieved the basket and the blanket before turning to my lady holding out my hand so I could lead us to the spot and she held a gift bag in her free hand

We walked a little deeper into the forest and I was so glad that we were both wearing closed shoes otherwise we would have had a problem not that I would have mind to carry her, we soon reached the spot.

I lay the blankets down before turning to my princess

"I hope you like it. I wanted to take you out on a environment which you are not used to"

"Are you kidding! I love it, it's simple yet so romantic which is much better than going to a restaurant or something like that. Grazie piccolo" she hugged me and placed a kiss on my cheek

"I'm gl- wait, what did you just call me? " I stared at her bewildered

She gave me a sheepish smile " I know you know what that means Jay"

I rolled my eyes whilst smiling before tugging her down to sit on the blankets so we can start off our lunch

I took the picnic basket and opened it packing out its contents "So we have your favorites in here: some chocolate covered strawberries, 2 bottles of apple juice, a non-alcoholic champagne with glasses of course , salt and vinegar lays chips and my specialty homemade Mac and cheese. Should I pop the champagne or are we drinking the juice first? "

" The champagne first, I can't wait to taste your Mac and cheese" she answered leaning over to take the glasses as I popped the champagne open

I chuckle as I poured the drink into the glasses before passing one to her

"Happy Valentine's Day Amore Mio"

We drank and had a small conversation about the future plans until it was time to eat. I dished for both of us

"So how is it?" I asked after her first bite

"Jayden, you are gonna be my own personal chef. This is so delicious. Where did you learn how to cook? " she said while moaning in bliss

I chuckled at her answer before answering "Growing up I used to take care of Jaycee when my parents and brother were doing overtime at work so instead of not wanting to give my fratello food poisoning I did an online cooking course" I smiled reminiscing the memories

"That's so thoughtful, I like that. I only see that you have a close bond with Jaycee. You don't find most guys doing that"

"Yea, I'm a family guy. Even though sometimes family disappoints you, they are always there wanting the best for you"

Lia nodded her head in agreement. You could say we are really grateful for our families. Once done with the meal, Lia decided to wait for a while before eating the dessert. She lay her head down on my  lap as she stared up at me with a smile

I looked at her in adoration and ran my hands through her lovely curls keeping the talks simple until she said she wants me to pass her a strawberry

I took one and instead of passing it to her I fed it to her, she took one for the bowl and held it out for for me to bite it. I held her hand which had the strawberry and brought it closer to my lips biting it and in the process making sure that my lips are lightly brushing against her fingers. She visibly shuddered and let out a small gasp

"Hmm, I like the way your body responds to my touches" I said teasingly

She blushed and looked away "Ughh, you're so annoying"

I laughed before taking another piece and fed it to her and she did the same to me as well. We talked pretty much about anything that came in mind

A few moments later after eating the dessert, I had brought a small speaker with to which I connected my phone and played her favorite song 'Beauty marks' by Ciara. I stood up and hold out my hand to her

"May I have this dance amore mio?"

"Of course Bello" she took my hand and stood up as well

I placed my hands on her waist and she placed hers around my neck as we stared into each other's eyes with smiles and swayed to the music

"Sei bellissima amore mio" (you are beautiful my love)

"Grazie bello"

"I've been meaning to ask you, how do you know Italian?"

" I'm don't actually know the language fluently, I just know some basic words"

"Fair enough, I want to tell you something. Just keep an open mind for me" I said tightening my grip a little on her waist

"I Uhm I just want to say that uh, I geez is this really that hard" I struggled to find the right words to say

"Jayden, just spit it out. Just be plain and simple you don't have to make a perfect speech, it's the thought that matters" she cupped my cheek caressing it

" Since I started high school right, I have been known as the loner guy because I never gave a girl my attention that was until you showed up. You have these amazing qualities and innocent aura around you that makes me want to protect you from any kind of destruction. Lia what I'm trying to say is that I like you alot, I think of you as more than a friend. I want to be the one you talk to when something troubles you, I want to give you all the affection that only a princess deserves. I want to be the one to make you smile when you need it. I uh want you to be mine and only mine. So Bella will you be my girlfriend? " I rambled as I drew circles on her waist to calm my nerves

" Jay, that was the most beautiful thing ever said to me. I like you too alot, I've been meaning to tell you but I was scared thinking that you wouldn't recuperate the way I feel. I would love to be yours" she answered shyly with rosy cheeks

It felt as if the weight and fear were lifted off my shoulders. I released a breathe of relief

I stared into her eyes bringing one hand to cup her face "Can I kiss You?"  I asked sheepishly

She smiled leaning towards me giving me her answer

I bent down to close the space between us

The moment our lips met, I could feel the excitement travel through every inch of my body. Her lips were so soft just the way I imagined it would be. Our lips moved in sync with one another. With my other hand on her waist, I brought her closer to me and with the one on her cheek I tilted her head to deepen the kiss. I could feel the passion and emotions that she poured into the kiss and I made sure to return them as well

I ran my tongue along her lips and she parted them for me as I entered I groaned at the sweet taste. I don't know how long we kissed and it didn't matter either but as humans need to breath, we broke apart

"That was pretty amazing for a first kiss" Lia said blushing

"Really?"

"Yea, with two very overprotective family members I never dated much less kiss a guy" Lia chuckled

"Well I'm glad that I'm your first and hopefully the last because I won't let you go ever"

"Always and forever?" Lia asked

"Always and forever amore mio"  I sealed the deal with a passionate kiss

We danced for a while and once it was 3 pm we decided to head home because we still at a movie-date tonight at my house as she will be sleeping over. We left after exchanging the gifts although my best gift was her being mine

We drove in comfortable silence with my free hand intertwined with hers on her lap. Soon enough we reached her house

"I'll pick you up at 6pm sweetheart" i said after I opened her door for her as she stepped out of the car

"Sure thing, I'll see you then"

"Always and forever for now amore mio"

"Always and forever babe"

I leaned down and kissed her forehead before going to her lips. We kept the kiss short and simple but it was still filled with passion

Once we broke apart, I waited till she entered the house before driving off
