^Jays room

JAY's POV

When I reached home, mom and dad were still not home... most probably at work

"Afternoon guys" I greeted my siblings

"Hey Jay"

Jazeey came to me indicating to be lifted so I did

"Jay when are your friends coming to visit? You know it's pretty boring here" My big bro asked

"They will come around 5pm, so in the mean time I am going to take a nap" I say setting Jazeey down and heading upstairs to my room to nap...

"Jayden" I could hear someone calling but I ignored it

"Yo Jayden" George yelled before shaking me

"What" I say annoyed sitting up and saw my friends in my room

"Well it's 5pm and we did tell you we are coming over" Yas says walking out followed by the others

I stood up and took a shower, got dressed in a white vest and black sweatpants before grabbing my phone and heading downstairs

When I got there everyone was there just waiting on me

"Hey" I greeted mom and dad

"Hey son"

After that we started eating, inbetween eating we had some small talk about how we are until everyone was done we went to the living room

"So is there anything intersting you can tell us" our parents asked

Ashley gave a teasing look "Yes we do, Ain't that right Jayden?"

I looked at him confused whereas the rest of my friends probably figured out what he wanted to say.  I just shrugged not knowing what to say

"Ooo Jay" Yas said

"So Mr I don't know what is going on here has a major crush on this other girl, y'all won't believe how happy or how he acts around her" Gina replied

"Really""What", mom even chocked on her tea she was drinking

"Yes, her name is Dalia" George answers

"O really, Aww my boy is growing up" Mom said

"No i don't have a crush on her, she is just intriguing"

"Yes you do, you stare at her all day and you talk even touch her which is something you have never done" Flo says

"I don't like her that way" I said glaring at my friends

My dad and siblings looks at me in amusement

"You know denial is always a sign of Liking someone" Romeo says

"Anyway, son tell us about her" mom say looking at me

"Uhm well you know her name, she is uhm I don't know" I said running a hand through my hair and looking away as I feel heat creep up my face

"Jay are you bwushing" Jazeey my lil bro asked

"Me pfft no" I stood up and head to my room into the bathroom

When I came out of the bathroom everyone was in my room

"Jay, are you okay?" Dad asked

"Yes I am, just a little flustered by this"

"You don't have to tell us if you are not comfortable" Mom said

"No it's just I am not really sure how to you know express my feelings"

"Just say what's on your mind" George encouraged me

"So uhm whenever I am around her I feel like I am free, like I am not some rich guy, she sees me for me, with her I can say anything and everything and not be judged, her laugh makes me feel like I am in some awesome musical show, her grey eyes lit up whenever she is happy and that makes me want to keep her happy, she makes my feel protective over her without her knowing" I say staring out of my balcony door which was open

"Wow""Dude that's deep" my friends say

My parents and siblings were staring at me with amazement

"We need to meet the girl who has captured my cold hearted son's heart" Dad says

"Is she bweautiful" Jayzeey asks

"She is, she has long jet black hair,grey eyes that are captivating, she seems about 5'6 ft, she is very conserved also feisty,she loves cooking and reading" I replied looking at him

"Yea we really need to meet her" mom says

"Anyway guys, i loved the conversation and all but I need all the sleep I can get, tomorrow is a big day for us all" Mom say

"What big day?

"A family and friend reunion, it's going to be huge and you all need to be there" Dad said with a stern look

"Also us?" My friends asks

"Yes, your families will also be there"

"Mom, what's the purpose of the reunion" Joshua asks

"We want to introduce you to all families so one day you will count on each other if something ever goes wrong"

"O okay"

"So we are heading to bed, It was nice to see you again. Night kids"  Dad says walking out

"So what now?"

"We can go watch movies or play board games?" Jaycelle says

"I vote movies" Flo and Gina says

"Me too" George and Ashley

"Okay, movies it is"

"Jay can you tuck me in tonight?" Jazeey says

"Sure"

We head to his room, he climbed into his bed

"I want you to go out with this girl, she makes you happy" he whispers

"I will see what I can do" I reply

"Promise" he held out his pinky

"I promise" I say as I join our pinky fingers

"Goodnight lil guy" I whisper

"Goodnight Jay" he says closing his eyes

I wait till his breath is steady before I switch on the nightstand light and closed the door and head to the theatre room

When I entered the movie was about to start, we are watching 'Gemini Man'

We stayed up till midnight before we went to sleep since tomorrow is going to be a long day

I head to my room, took of my vest and sweats before slipping into the bed reaching over to my nightstand to switch off the lights  and closed my eyes welcoming sleep...
