JAY's POV

Today is the day of the reunion, after showering and getting dress in sweatpants and a vest..

I go downstairs before joining the family at the dining table

"Morning everyone"

"Morning Jayden"

"Are you ready for the union?" Joshua asks

"Somehow, you know I am not big on such things"

"Atleast your friends will be there"

"Yea, I'll be in my room if anyone needs me" I say

I go back upstairs to my room, i grab my phone off the charger and switch it on only to see the group active talking about Gina being bored and how she must visit her boyfriend. I wasn't interested to answer until I saw Lia's message

She was asking wether to take black or pink. I was tempted to say you'd look good in anything but I sticked to asking why she needs it and I wish I didn't ask cause her answer literally shocked me but I saw I wasn't the only one

I had to call her and make sure she isn't being serious, i can't lose the one thing that makes me feel human

She answered on the 2nd ring

Dal: Hello?
Jay: Tell me you aren't serious cara mia(my beloved)
Dal: I am

Her answer killed me, i took a sharp intake of breath to calm myself. I asked her in a soft hurt tone

Jay: Please cara, honestly
Dal: Okay fine, geez I am joking, i just wanted to see you guys reactions

She said the last sentence in a sad soft tone. Before I could answer I heard her brother yelling at her. She hanged up before saying we'll talk later

I was relieved that she wasn't being serious. It was already 5pm so I decided to get ready. After the shower I wore a tight fitted white tee, black dresspants and black shoes. I didn't want to look too formal..

Once dressed I took my phone, wallet and keys before heading downstairs. It seems like I was the only that was ready...

"Hey everyone, it is already time lets go" mom said coming down

Everyone came and we left to our building were we hold conferences and huge events... When we got there I saw many cars,some familiar

We got off and head inside, i searched through the crowd looking for my friends. Once I locate them I head their way. When I got close I saw George hugging someone, Ashley and the rest looked at me with smug looks before George turned the person he was hugging which I figured out is Lia...

When she fully turned to face me.. God she left me speechless, she was beyond beautiful.

The dress she wore showed her figures. A little bit of cleavage, her lips looked more appetizing in the nude color and the blackheels she wore made her legs look more toned, my jaw was dropped hell I think I even drooled...

We stared at each other keeping our gazes connected until an idiot broke the contact

"You know there's something called talking or are you mentally connecting?" Dullon said

"Yea Jay, you can close your mouth" Yas said lifting my jaw

I stepped forward bringing her into a hug before whispering in her ear

"Hey cara, you look gorgeous"

"You don't look bad yourself" she said hugging me back too

The way her body fitted with mine is beyond me, i could feel warm radiating from her, her hug was so comforting...

We talked amongst ourselves for while before we were called by our parents to start with the introductions. Since I know my friends family I didn't meet any unfamiliar faces except when it was time to introduce Dalia's family. I was surprised that our parents were friends back in their high school years

My family was quite when the family was introducing themself until Dalia's father introduced her

I got the smug looks from my friends, my parents were smiling, my siblings were giving me teasing looks

"So you are Dalia" Jazeey said looking at her with narrowed eyes

"Yes" she answered unsure of what's happening

"Hmm, you are much prettier in person. Jay wasn't lying"

I turned my head so fast I am surprised that I didn't get a whiplash looking at him with wide eye...

"Jazeey!!"

"What, i am just telling the truth, you always talk about her, Lia was this, Lia was that" he said with mischief in his eyes

I glared at him mumbling profanties under my breath, Lia was blushing looking at the floor as if it will open up and take her...

The families laughed at our misfortune...

"So Dalia is he the one you were talking about?" Her mom asked

She gasped "Mom!!"

"What, it's just a question"

"But they didn't have to know that" Lia mumble shly

I couldn't help but smile at the thought that she talks about me too...

After teasing us, we all made conversations with other families and we really had a great time

We went to our table to have some food and dessert...

"So what are we doing tomorrow?" Dullon asked

"How about we go to the beach?" Ashley suggested

"We could do that"
"Yes we must"
"Cool idea"

"Ok beach it is"

We stayed up till midnight before we had to go home...

When we reached home my mom wanted to say something so we all waited

"Thank You guys for today. I hoped you all enjoyed yourself" mom said

"Yes we did, it was nice getting to know other people who aren't really family" Joshua says

"Yep, i mostly enjoyed the part were Jazeey was teasing Jayden" my sister says laughing

I groaned because I know I will never live this down

"Guys, please I am tired so please none of that right now" I plead

"Okay okay"

"Goodnight"  I say before heading upstair, i took a quick shower and go to bed falling asleep immediately...
