⚠️LONG CHAPTER

Lia's POV

Today has been the best day so far. Everything was so calm and simple yet so romantic. And don't get me started on the kiss... It was sooooo amazing, sweet and everything I felt a first kiss is supposed to be. I can feel the tingling sensation just by thinking about it.

I was getting ready for the movie date and the sleep over. I already took out the clothes to wear and pack and was currently busy packing my stuff into the bag when my mom entered the room

" Hey Sweetie"

"Hey momma bear" I hugged her

"So!?"

"So what? " I raised a brow at the way she was starting a conversation

" How was your Valentine's Day so far? You came in smiling and I got curious?"

"Haven't You heard of the phrase 'Curiousity killed the cat'?"

"I did, and Satisfaction brought it back" she sassed

Rolling my eyes at her I said in a sarcastic way"Really? I didn't know! , anywho the day was pretty peaceful. I loved everything and can't wait for tonight!! "

" Why? What's happening tonight? You're not doing what I think you are talking about right? " momma asked perplexed

Not really knowing what she was talking about, I thought about it for a while till I realized what she meant, with wide eyes I replied" Whaaat!!!! N.. No... No not that. Jeez momma we just had our first kiss today and you're thinking so far already"

"Ahh you lost your first kiss?!" mom squealed

I felt my face heat up and just nodded because I was too embarrassed to answer

Mom came over and hugged me "I'm so happy. I mhm I actually thought that you were going college without atleast getting a kiss"

"Ughh mommy!! You are not supposed to encourage such things" I whined

"Are you done packing?"

"Yes, I was sitting here waiting to be disturbed" I answered in a sarcastic tone while packing the last items in before closing the bag

"Watch your tone baby girl" mom said but I could her the mocking in her voice

Mom left once I finished packing. I checked the time to see it's going to 5 meaning I only have a hour to get ready. I took my toiletries and the clothes then head to the bathroom. After a few minutes, I was done dressing

I came out and just as I did, my phone pinged alerting me that I have a text from Jay

I'm on the way

I put my stuff together before going down stairs  and then head to the sitting room to wait. Few minutes past when I heard the door bell ring

"I'll get it!" i said standing up to get the door

I got there and op the door, moving aside letting Jay enter " Hey Jay" I sheepishly smiled

He chuckled probably because of how shy I am due to what happened few hours ago but nonetheless he greeted me back

"You ready to go?"

"Yep, let me just go grab my stuff and let my parents know that I'm going"

"Sure"

I went upstairs got my bag and then head to my parents room to say goodbye. I knocked and heard momma say 'enter'

I went inside "Hi, I just came to let you know that I am leaving. Jay is downstairs waiting for me"

"Okay sweetheart, I hope you enjoy your stay and do greet his parents for us please" Dad stood up to give me a hug

"Of course daddy bear"

I head out downstairs and once Jay saw me he came to take my bag and placed his hand on my lower back as we walk out towards his car

Once we entered the car,  he leaned over and pecked my lips and started to drive

"I wanted to do that since you opened the door but I wasn't sure if you would want me to in front of your parents"

I blushed still not used to kissing "I wouldn't have minded, I mean they know I have feelings for you and they approve of you" I shrugged

"Really? next time I'll do so, by the way You look  Beautiful" he said checking me out

"Thank You" I murmured

" So, you ready for tonight?"

"Yep, I'm excited. Can't wait to see what you planned"

"It's nothing extravagant, it's just to spend some time with you"

"baby, it doesn't have to be out of the ordinary. It's the thought that counts. I'll appreciate whatever you have done" I reached over to kiss his cheek

"Hey! you missed" he said pointing to his lips

I laugh before pecking him not wanting to deepen it since he is driving

"So cara mia, when are we telling our friends and family about us because I know for a fact that they will be over excited that their 'Jaylia' ship is sailing?" Jay asked while chuckling

I smiled knowing that it is true" I don't mid, the sooner the better for me to get over the teasing"
I groaned just thinking about it

Jayden laughed and I playfully glared at him

"Is tomorrow fine?"

"Yep, just tell me in advance so I can get myself ready for all the squealing and screams" I said already horrified by the upcoming scene

Jay laughed at my expression. We reached the house which was dark

I turned to Jay "Where's everyone?"

"They had plans for the night. My parents went out on a date and my brother's went to the cinema, so we have the house to ourselves"

We exist the car and head to the room. Once inside Jay said I should freshen up while he sets up the movie and the snacks

I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower changing into comfortable clothes going out once I'm done only to be shocked at how quickly Jayden got everything ready

"Was I really in there for so long?" I asked perplexed

"Nope, I had everything done and just needed to connect it"

"Sure, what are we watching?"

"Since you love horror, I was thinking of Poltergeist?"

I nodded as he insert the movie and grabbed the snacks of the table before making himself comfortable next to me..

We were halfway through the movie when I started feeling cold and scooted close to Jay bring with me a throw blanket that was on the sofa to cover us both

"here you go" I placed the blanket over him and laid my head on his shoulder

"thanks babe" he kissed my forehead turning back to the tv

By now the snacks are half way done and I heard his parents voices as they passed by his room. Soon enough the end credits of the movie rolled as Jayden  stood up to change to the next movie

"What's next?" he asked looking at me with raised eyebrows

"Can we watch a series?"  I answered with a sheepish smile

He shakes his head going to the series section clicking on my favorite without asking which one and came to me, lifting me up and carrying us to the bed making sure I'm comfortable he cuddled me pressing play

We watched approximately three episodes before I felt sleepy

"Come here" Jay said turning me around to face him and turned the tv off

I wordlessly turned and snuggled close to him breathing in his manly scent, our breathing was the only sound heard throughout the silent room

"How well did I do today?"

"well let's see, we confessed our feelings, had my first kiss, can call you my boyfriend now and I had the best day just spending time with you. So pretty awesome"

Jayden hmmed in approval pulling me even closer to him than I already was, not that I'm complaining whispering a 'good night bello' before I succumbed to the darkness hearing a faint 'good night love'
