Dalia's Pov

Today is the day that indicates that we are finally and officially done high school "Ceremony Day"

Om this day we are given certificates of recognition that we have finished high school and some gifts before all the seniors are invited to the Homecoming party that evening

I woke up at 6 am to get ready, we were told to wear anything as the graduation gown will cover up

I decided to wear that because after the ceremony, the girls and I are going to the spa to get our hair, nails and body massage for the Homecoming party tonight

After getting dressed I went downstairs for some breakfast while waiting for Jay to come pick me up

Moments later, Jay came and we head to school, having a light conversation about tonight and how we are going to go about it since we are partners. Soon enough we reached school and head to the assembly point where all the learners, teachers and parents were waiting for the ceremony to start

We had to sit according to the alphabet and that is where Jay and I split since my surname starts with 'C' and his with a 'K'

Soon the ceremony started as the principal gave a speech, some teachers as well and the headboy and head girl too. After the speeches were done we were called up name by name to receive your certificate

After we got our certificates, we ate some food that was arranged by the school for us. The ceremony had to be short so we had enough time to get ready for the party later today

When we finished eating, the girls and I head to the spa in the mall to go get ready for Prom

We did our nails and hair although we will do our makeup at home

The girls did their nails in nude because it looks beautiful with their skin tone however I did mine according to my dress color

Once we were done we went to the food court to eat some lunch and after that we went to go collect our dresses at Gina's mom's shop since she was the one designing the dresses

After collect, we got Jay's brother to come get us because we didn't want the boys to see us yet just to give some suspicion

When I got home, I had to the room to take a short nap because I know that I might not be able to get sleep enough due to the event ending at a late hour

At 5 pm I stood up and showered, got dressed in a gown as my makeup artist Jenny waited for me to sit down and start.. I chose a natural face beat because I don't really like makeup that much. Once done with makeup it was 6pm, she did a retouch on the hair and than helped me get into the dress

"Aww, you look so beautiful" Jenny said before walking out

My parents came in came in once Jenny left

"My baby, you look so beautiful" mom gushed

"I'm so proud to call you my daughter, you look amazing child"

I hugged them careful not to spoil anything "Thank you for everything. I love you and appreciate you very much"

"Hey gu-, wow sis, you want Jayden to lose his sense because you'll succeed with this look" Dullon came in and hugged me pushing our parents out of the way

I chuckled when mom pouted "Thanks brother, you look dashing as well"

"Are you gonna go pick Yas up now?"

"Yup" he said as he hugged our parents

"You guys have fun but not too much" dad said as Dullon heads out and they go downstairs letting me wait for Jay up here

A few minutes later, I heard mom call me letting me know that Jay is here

I take a deep breath and grabbed my purse before going down praying that I'll not fall because of how nervous I am

Jays jaw drops as soon as I am visible to them and walks to me with a husky voice "You look breathtakingly beautiful" he pecked me after complimenting me

"You look handsome as well

After taking some pictures we head to the venue we're going to have our photo shoot...
