Moody

"Fuck that was amazing!  Give me a cigarette."

Danny reaches over and grabs a pack of cigarettes, and a lighter.

"Here you go, Babydoll."

"Thanks." Fiona lights her cigarette, and takes a drag.

"You're pretty incredible."

"Yeah I know that."

Joe chuckles.

"Ugh, here. Take this."

"You just asked for a cigarette!"

"Yeah but the taste of it is making my stomach feel sick."

"YouFiona GoodeMs. Chimney?  Are you okay?"

"What?  Just because I don't want your nasty cheap cigarettes?" Fiona hops off of his desk and grabs her clothes.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm done with you, old man."

Joe chuckles and takes a drag of his cigarette.

"And put that cigarette out, the smell is making me sick!" Fiona shouts.

"What the hell is wrong with her?"

"Nothing!" Fiona shouts.

"Damn, she's got ears like an elephant!"

Just then the lights flicker, and a lamp crashes into the wall.

"WHAT THE HELL?!"

"I heard you call, me an elephant!"

"Baby, I didn't mean it like that!"

"Shut up!"

Joe sighs and lays his head back.

Two days later.

"Again, Fifi?"

"Yeah.." Fiona sighs walking out of the bathroom.

"You should see a doctor. I don't wanna catch that bug."

"I'll be fine." Fiona says as the doorbell rings.

"Who the hell is that?" She asks.

"I don't know, nobody likes us." Joe says watching tv from the bed.
Fiona rolls her eyes and walks to the front door.

"Harold?! What are you doing here?"

"I came to see my daughter."

"Well she isn't here."

"Where is she?"

"She's with a friend."

"Will she back soon? I really want to see her, Fiona."

"Why, Harold? Why now?"

"Look Fiona, I know I left, but I was young!"

"Yeah, so was I! You don't think I was scared? Well I was! But I didn't leave!"

"I'm here now, Fiona. I want to be apart of her life. Please give me a chance."

Fiona sighs as she gets that same sick feeling in her stomach.
"Harold, I'm really not feeling well, will you please leave?"

"Fine I'll leave, but I'm coming back tomorrow to see my daughter."

Fiona glares at him, then slams the door.
She then leans against the door and sighs as she places her hand on her stomach.

"You okay?" Joe walks out.

"No." She nods and rubs her stomach. "That is the last time you cook! You'd think someone who is like over a hundred years old would pick up some cooking tips."

"Ooh you are Moody, Ms. Goode!"

"Shut up." Fiona sighs and walks back to her bedroom.

The next day.

"I'm back!  Can I see Cordelia now?"

"No."

"Is she here?"

"No."

"Well where is she?"

Fiona doesn't say a word and looks down.

"Where is she, Fiona?
.. She doesn't live here, does she?"

"..."

"You sent her away?  Wow.  Well some parent you are, Ms. Goode."

"You stop it!" Fiona points her finger at him and raises her voice.
"I did what was best for her!  I raised her for twelve years and sent her to an elite boarding school.  You left her!  YOU were the asshole!"

"Whatever.  I'm going to see her.. and you can't stop me, Fiona."

Harold leaves Fiona standing in her doorway.
She then sighs and slams the door.

"I'm gonna have to repair that door soon if you keep slamming it like that."

"Ohh!  Shut up, Joe!  Go make me a drink!"

Joe chuckles. "You are my little ray of sunshine, Fifi!"

The academy.

"Auntie Myrtle, this breakfast is delicious!" Cordelia says with a smile.

"I'm glad you like it, my dear.  You girls eat up.  We have a long day ahead of us."

Just then Spalding came in to let them know they had a guest.

"Excuse me just one second girls.  I'll get rid of whoever it is." Myrtle stands and walks to the entrance of the house.

"Harold!"

"Myrtle Snow!  Wow, it's been a long time." He smiles.

"Yes, yes it has!  What brings you here?"

"Well I contacted Fiona because I wanted to see Cordelia.  She lied and said she was just at a friends house.  Then I realized she didn't even live there.."

"Well that's Fiona.  She lies."

"Yeah.. Myrtle, can I please see my daughter?"

"Well she's having breakfast now, and she has a very busy day ahead of her."

"Oh.. I understand.."

"Why don't you give me your number and I'll give you a call later after I speak to her."

"That's perfect!  Thank you so much, Myrtle.  I know I messed up when she was a baby but-"

"No need to explain, dear.  I'd do anything to get rid of Fiona as well!"

Harold chuckles. "I appreciate it, Myrtle.  Thank you.  Please tell her that I'm sorry, and.. I just want to have a chance to get to know her."

Myrtle smiles softly. "I know.  I think it's great."

"Auntie Myrtle?-" Cordelia interrupts them.

"Delia!  Honey, go back to the kitchen!  I'll be right there, love!"

"Oh.. okay."

Myrtle sighs and turns to Harold. "Sorry.. I just really need to speak with her before she meets you.  I want to make sure she's okay with it.  You understand, don't you?"

"Of course!  I just.. I can't get over how grown up she is.  How beautiful she is!
She looks like her mother.. Fiona is evil, we all know that.. but man is that woman gorgeous!"

"Yeah.."

"I hate to take up anymore of your time, Myrtle.  Here's my number.  No matter what her answer is.. give me a call, alright?" Harold smiles softly.

"I will!  You take care."

"You as well!"

Myrtle takes his card and watches him leave.
She then takes a deep breath and returns to her girls.
