"Dinahhh..."

"Dinah!"

"DINAH!"

"Leave me alone", my best friend whines and turns onto her other side to continue sleeping.

"Get the hell up! Literally, everybody already left!"

"There's no way Camila left, she literally fainted-"

"Actually, she was the first person to leave. I'm not that surprised, to be honest, I would left early too to avoid an ex", I shrug.

When I hear Dinah's soft snores I realize she fell asleep once again so I slap her on the shoulder.

"OW!"

"Get. The Fuck. UP! I'm not doing this with you today DJ. Normani refused to try and wake you up, and everyone else was already gone which meant it's my job to wake you up so you better-"

She's already resumed snoring and my jaw drops in amazement that she can fall asleep so quickly. A devious smirk settles onto my face as an idea creeps into my mind.

"Dinah, Mani is in the cafeteria talking to some pretty bitch", I say casually.

I'm slightly taken aback when Dinah jumps out of bed, frantically a rambling through her bag for clothes before running into the bathroom.

Last night all of our things were brought to our cabin shortly after the medic had verified that Camila just had a dizzy spell that led to her fainting.

I chuckle to myself before turning on my heels and heading to the cafeteria...

This camp is larger than it appears at first glance. Each table is full of kids already laughing and talking away. To my surprise, the food here is actually pretty edible. I'm sitting with my cabin mates discussing the craziness of last nights events. Camila would say something every once in a while, but she seemed pretty quiet with her ex-girlfriend and current vampire basically staring at her for the entirety of the conversation. Ally didn't say a word, apparently, she couldn't be bothered. She just texted on her phone and would look up every once in a while whenever something interested her. Me on the other hand, I was quite invested in the conversation, but that didn't mean it had my total attention...

Just behind our table, I could see a red-headed girl peeking my way every once in a while. It started subtly, but after a while, she had started to make it pretty clear she wanted my attention. I sent a flirty smile her way which caused her to send one back. I almost start to blush from the eye contact with when a blonde girl beside her nudges her in the side causing her to look away.

I look down at my table with a small smirk but when I look up I find Camila looking at me with a look I can't particularly pinpoint.

"What?"

"Nothing," she says softly making me furrow my eyebrows in confusion when I realize the ginger is walking over to my table.

She sits down in the seat next to mine and smiles.

"Hi there! I'm Cheryl Blossom, HBIC of Riverdale High. Well, formally anyway. That's beside the point though, I just wanted to introduce myself to you because you look like you know how to have a good time, and my cabin is throwing a party tonight and I wanted to invite you," she grins.

"That's a thing? We can like do that here?"

I have some pretty amazing connections, she says as she flips her hair.

"Hmm... Do you think you have room for a few others?"

Cheryl scans the girls at the table and shrugs before nodding.

"Well then, Cheryl blossom, we will see you tonight," I grin.

Just then a loud booming voice makes everyone jump slightly.

"WHO THE FUCK BEEN TALKING TO MY MUTHA FUCKING CINNAMON APPLE?"

"Yeah... I don't know what that's about but I think I'm gonna go..."

"See ya," I chuckle as Cheryl heads back to her table.

Normani hides her face in her hands and groans.

"The fuck did you tell her," Normani whines.

"That you were talking to a pretty bitch", I smile as I take a bite out of my apple.

"I should-"

"-be thanking me for getting YOUR girlfriend out of bed," I grin.

Dinah storms over to the table sitting next to Mani and turning to face her.

"Dinah, please don't make a scene. There is no pretty bitch. You are the only pretty bitch I talk to," Normani groans.

"Damn. What the fuck. We not pretty enough bitches for you Mani?!"

"Shut up you know I didn't mean it like that," Normani Laughs.

"Mhmm", I hum.

"Well, it looks like you're just in time Dinah because I think the show is about to begin," Camila nods over to a center table where Rose is standing on top of it strumming a guitar.

"Well, ladies and gentlemen, I think it's we begin again. So let me tell a story for my dudes. This camp is gonna be hella fun, we'll sing tons of songs with everyone. We will do tons of stuff then write tons of fluff and every night perform tons of mush", Rose sings.

Everyone cheers as she finishes her song and I'm pretty sure Normani is pretty much crying from fangirling so hard.

"Basically, you are all here because you share one thing in common. A love for the arts, more specifically music. To make a good song, you need experiences. That's where Camp Naya Toshima comes in! We will provide said experiences and every two days each cabin will perform their song at our campfire which will be held just for that purpose, whether providing of course! Last night was your first experience! All is fair in love and war amiright?! Instruments have been delivered to your cabins! Make something great, I can't wait to hear what you create!"

Those are her final words before she hops off the table, playing a happy tune on guitar as she makes her way out of the cafeteria.

"Why do I suddenly feel like I'm in the middle of a Disney show", I ponder to myself.

"So what do you guys do? I mean, I know Camila plays the piano-"

"-not anymore", Camila interrupts Lauren.

"You stopped playing?"

"So who plays an instrument and who sings," Camila, asks, ignoring Lauren's question.

"I play guitar. Trust me you don't wanna hear the shit that happens when I try to sing," I laugh.

"I'm sure it's not that bad," Camila smiles.

"Well Mani and I sing", Dinah says.

"Cool, me too," Camila reaches over to fist bump both Dinah and Normani.

"Whatever. I sing," Ally says as she continues typing away on her phone.

Her attitude is really starting to work my nerves...

"I sing too", Lauren sighs...
