Titles:
Beautiful titles. I love them all. Especially the last one--whenever I think of it, it gives me chills. My only two critiques would be why have the series title as the same title as the first book? Secondly, the title for the second book has an odd flow to it compared to the other two... Might just be me. I like the title, but it feels off somehow with that "May" at the beginning. Great work, though!
Covers:
I love the images. Dark and simple, but beautiful at the same time. The fonts are pretty and readable as well. My only thing is maybe not have all the type squished together at the bottom. Not pleasing on the eyes. Also, the stroke effect on the last cover makes it stand out in a negative way compared to the other two. I know it's there to make it readable, but since the other two don't have it, it looks weird. I would say make it less or cut it completely. It should still be readable. Also, maybe try to make the font match the other two more. ;)
Blurbs:
The blurbs are good and even for all three. They aren't quite as gripping as I'd personally like them to be, though. It felt more like reading a synopsis than a blurb. My suggestion would be to cut out some of the information so it doesn't feel too "dumpy" and make it way more dramatic. ;) It's fine as it is, but I feel that it could be better.
The Good:
I would definitely say your world-building and characters and plotline. I guess that's actually three things, but whatever. The first thing that made me interested in this trilogy way back when you were writing the first book was your characters and the plot. I had to review it for a contest and I was so hooked that I had to read on. Your story set-up has just the right pacing for a fantastic story and I've loved it until the end. The characters are well-developed and their relationships and interactions with one another are very realistic and enjoyable to read.
The Bad:
This is just mostly because of first drafts and the mistakes that come with them. The only thing that really stood out to me in a negative way was pacing. Especially in the third book, things seemed to be moving very fast and there wasn't as much development of characters and world-building as there was in the first two books. Granted, it's the last book so not a ton needs to be done, but it seemed like it was all rushing to get to the end rather than enjoying the journey to get there. This might just be me though. You can take it or leave it.
What the Reader Thought:
This story reminds me the most of fairy tales. With the elements of any high fantasy story: dragons, dwarves, faeries, and then the two rival opponents in a sense of the story, the Summer King and his sister the Winter Queen, thrown in with relationships of these various young adults, comes an adventure-packed tale full of surprises. I love the relationships the characters have with each other, and the small, subtle romances are so cute.
In short, I really loved reading this trilogy and I wish you all the best with it! I can't wait until it's in print some day!
