Title:

Just a heads-up, I don't read much science fiction so don't judge me to harshly for this review. XD 

Anyway, the title is a fairly okay one. It interests me because I want to know what this new earth is, but beyond that, not much. It just might because I don't generally read this genre, though. I personally feel that the "A New Earth" part is a bit unnecessary because it's more of a subtitle and therefore you don't need to have the whole thing up on Wattpad as its title, but that's just me. 

Cover:

It's certainly colorful. But it's not exactly eye-grabbing and the text is rather hard to read. Plus it looks more professional to have a pen name and not your Wattpad username--let alone with an @ symbol before it. 

Blurb:

You have an excellent blurb that does a good job getting the reader excited to read your story. That is, until the last few lines. I would encourage you to have more of a cliff-hanger style ending for your blurb so your reader wants to read the story rather than the way it is right now because it's rather dry and boring--the way it ends. 

The Good: 

I don't read much sci-fi, as I've stated before, so I'm not the best judge of this genre. However, I think that overall, you did a good job, especially for a novella. 

Your descriptions were beautiful and done well. The plot was smooth and flowed nicely and I was easily able to follow along. Your grammar was also nice and clean. 

The Bad:

I personally feel that the characterization was the biggest issue. It probably was because this is a novella and so you don't have the same depth as a novel. But I feel that Zel and Kai could be developed a lot more. It just felt really rushed and as a result they often came across as shallow and I couldn't get into their character. The aliens were excellent, but the humans need more work. 

The ending. I know you already have been lamenting this, and I agree with you. The ending is too rushed and needs to be stretched out more instead of ending so abruptly. ;) 

What the Reader Thought: 

Overall, this was a nice story. I'm not that big a fan of sci-fi, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It has a lot of potential and I believe that when you do go through the revising process, the finished product will be quite a treat to read!
