Chapter One
A black limousine pulled up to a creepy old boarding school, fully ingrowth with vines and hidden away from any normal person's eyes. Towers stood so high that it practically looked like it was going to topple over. Rocks were ready to fall down. Mark stared at the tower scene before him. Lightning crashed.
"Well, Mr. Fischbach, I hope you are ready," the driver said. "It's your first day." Mark scoffed. This was his billionth first day of school and he was ready to call it quits. No amount of convincing would help him through this again. Grumbling to himself, Mark got out of the car and grabbed his bags and made his way over to the front door where students all lined the campus grounds. His mother worked as a nurse, so she never had much time to spend with him. Not that Mark was complaining, of course. He'd always got stuck getting in trouble, which must have been because of the ADHD and Dyslexia. It made things harder for him and no matter what, he'd always wanted to pick a fight. As a result, the schools that he went to kick him out. It was hard for him to say if his mother was disappointed in him or if she just didn't have time to explain to him the situation. Now here he was, stuck in the new boarding school that looked like a castle, the towers so high that he believed it would trap someone in the towers.
"I can't believe I'm doing this again." Mark said, deflated. "I will not get in trouble this time." He continued walking down the path and once in a while glanced around the campus. Parents were saying their goodbyes to their children like they wouldn't see them again. Mark often wished his mother would do the same. Hell, he wished his father were around. All he remembered was that strange warlike smile, like he was proud. His eyes caught sight of a young man with green and dark brown hair standing with his mother and what Mark assumed was his older sibling. The way the young man got frustrated, probably because his mother was doing the same thing, still Mark remained calm. He walked into the lobby, followed by the other students and their parents. The green and brown-haired man walked in as well with his mother. Mark faced forward expecting something, but nothing out of the ordinary happened aside from the teacher. He swore he saw the woman's figure change shape. Her face morphed into a reptile, then back to a regular human being with smooth features and black hair.
"Welcome to Mooredum academy!" the headmaster said, a guy dressed in a blue suit and tie and with slick back brown hair. "At this academy, we believe in discipline and strength. My name is Mr. Grumbs and I am glad that you have chosen this school for your children." Next to Mark, the green and brown-haired man chuckled to himself and elbowed Mark. Mark frowned at him.
"Grumbs? More like Crumbs." the man said. His accent was thick, which made Mark realize the young man was from Ireland. Of course, Mark couldn't help but agree with the man in that. How could a person ever have the name Grumbs?
"Okay, you're right." Mark whispered, a smile twitched on his face. "I'm Mark." he held out his hand toward the man standing next to him. He smiled and shook Mark's hand.
"Sean McLoughlin, it's nice to meet you." Sean said.

Mostly, Sean wanted no part in the boarding house. All he could think about was everything that happened with his mother and half-brother. Sean always kept to himself, but when he met a man with red and brown hair, he learned that the guy's name was Mark. Like him, he got stuck in the boarding school because of what happened at his other schools. From somehow teleporting into the women's bathroom to accidentally setting the classroom on fire, no wonder he got stuck in a creepy boarding school.
"I understand parents need to get along with their merry way, so I'll make this quick," the headmaster said. "You don't have to worry about your children, we will do our best to take care of them while they're here, you can go ahead and say good bye to your children and i'll escort them to their dorms." Around them, parents said their goodbyes but his own mother and brother had told him not to get into any trouble and made sure that he had everything despite telling them that he wasn't a baby. They left, leaving only the students in the room, next to him and Mark was a man about their age and currently eating a red apple, his hair was sandy blonde and he wore a gray shirt with khaki pants. Pulling himself from his thoughts, Sean and Mark followed the rest of the students upstairs. Gargoyels lined the walls and some were on the corners of the stairwell. Each of the students left in opposite directions. Mark and Sean walked through the halls until they came across their room: 203. At least they were going to be hanging out together, not long after that did the sandy haired guy came by with his own keys.
"Oh good, you found our room." the man said.
"Um who are you?" Mark asked. The man gave a big toothy grin and intoduced himself.
"I'm Alex," he said. "Your roommate, are you Mark Fischbach and Sean McLoughlin?"
"Yes, that would be us," Sean answered. "I didn't think this room was big enough for three people to live in."
"Oh, it is," Alex said. "But don't worry the room is wonderful, it's to floors, so i'll be upstairs, you guys get the main floor of our room." Alex inserted his key and turned it, opening the door, the trio stepped in. The room was bigger than Sean had ever imagined, it was like the castles back in his country. A fire place on the far side of the wall and all around him everything was decorated with Christmas decor. Two rooms were off to the side, with a set of stairs that went up to the next level. In the living room were two large couches with a coffee table in the middle. Sean did not know what to say, he glanced at his new friend and noticed that he was also speechless. The trio dropped their bags by the couches and began to explore the room. Alex took off upstairs leaving Mark and Sean alone.
"That was weird." Mark said.
"I agree," Sean responded. "I guess we'll have to get used to it, I mean he couldn't be that bad right?"
"Hopefully not," Mark said. "After we finish unpacking do you want to have a look around?"
"Sure, it wouldn't hurt." the two friends grabbed their luggage and made their way to their chosen rooms where they started to unpack their bags.

Alex had overheard Mark and Sean's conversation, but he also sensed something off about the students. One of them was powerful and the other more warlike. He walked down the hall to the bathroom, making sure that no one followed him. He pulled out a golden drachma, closed the door and turned on the faucet. Mist appeared in the bathroom and he held out the drachma in front of him.
"O Iris, goddess of the rainbow, please accept my offering," Alex tossed the drachma into the rainbow, which appeared not long after the missed filled the room. "Contact Chiron in Camp Half-Blood." the rainbow rippled and a man with a messy beard appeared.
"Nice to hear from you, Alex," he said. "Have you found the demigods?"
"Yes sir," Alex nodded his head. "There's something you should know about them."
"What is it?" Chiron asked.
"The demigods, one of them, is the child of the big three."
