I really love the book cover and book title. It matches the story really well, the graphics perfectly bringing the story to life. I like how unique the book title is but also how simple and sweet it is.

The first chapter immediately reeled me in. How the Writer describes the scenery in the first paragraph. Eden is such an endearing character, taking me back to the books I used to read when I was a bit younger.

I think I missed a bit of context by not reading the other books even though this is a sequel. At times, I felt a bit confused. I would recommend really diving into providing background information just in case any readers want to read this as a standalone or they decide to read this book first out of the series.

Eden's character remains consistent throughout the story as well as the other characters. They're all really fleshed out and vibrant book characters brought to life. Eden is a very funny character even though she doesn't realize it. She seems immature at times but is actually very self aware and wise as well as forgiving.

Some characters are introduced very abruptly with no context or background story. An example would be King Roland in chapter one. With this book I don't think there's one big plot but many small ones that all tie in together but the Writer does well in executing it.

I really liked the dialogue between the characters. The friendship between Eden and Lucy was very sweet. They clearly had their differences but they got along so well because they care about each other. The relationship between Eden and her father is similar and was nice to read about. It was such fun reading it. I also liked the small lore bits at the end of each chapter. The word choice was impeccable for the time setting the book seems to take place in.

The grammar and vocabulary was consistent and really top-notch. The pacing and plot were all intricately woven together to form this story and along with the characters, this story was amazingly beautiful to read.

REVIEW:

I really liked the book title and description. The title is really beautiful but also fits the story. What stuck out to me the most was the characters. I really liked how they interacted and how fleshed out they were. Their dialogue was always interesting to read. The comedic moments always hit perfectly.

At times, the word choice wasn't the best but it makes up for it in everything else. Moments that were mundane and can seem boring or dragging to a reader were always interesting but also important to the story, whether it was for the plot or for character interactions and bonding. It lets us see these character's personalities in different situations.

I also really want to bring up the comedy. It was really fun reading it because the Writer knows exactly how to build up to it and have the characters add to it with inner dialogue. I really liked the relationship between Soo ah and her cousin, Hoseok, as well as Yoongi. It felt real and like the characters came to life.

REVIEW:

The book cover, title, and description were all very beautifully done. The book cover fit the story really well. The first chapter immediately captured my interest. The plot is more than intriguing. There are two POVs, both of two very different people on different sides.

We see the twists coming because we know the POV of Dominic, the man Victoria is trying to catch. So we know she's going to fail or have a big chance of failing because with Dominic's POV we know he's behind it while she's in the dark. Although there's no suspense plot-wise because of this, the Writer still does a good job in building up the suspense with the two characters' relationship and interactions.

The characters are charming and realistic. Although Victoria and Dominic are one two different sides when it comes to goals, they're both our MCs. The Writer does well in fleshing out Dominic who is the serial killer Victoria is hunting. They both have motives that are important to the plot and realistic. The Writer goes into depth with their characters and personalities and backstory. We can root for them or at least find their actions reasonable or plausible without it feeling out of place. We can see why they did what they did even if some people may not agree with their actions and how they went about it.
