The New Veela?

The Hogwarts castle was more impressive than she belive it to be. The stories and photographs she had seen hadn't done any sort of justice to the old building. The dark academia vibe it radiated held a sort of beauty that many admired. She sure did.

It was too bad she couldn't stay.

Her dark navy blue cloke swisher at her ankles as her heals hit the cobble stone. Her long dark hair was combed to perfection. She was always praised on her beauty. In a way, it made her arrogant.

So when her target showed no interest, her methods changed.

The cold autumn air was brisk and sharp, turning her plate cheeks a bright pink. Her blue eyes made her ethereal. Her figure was one girls would kill for; perfect curves, perfect waist, perfect everything. Her skin was flawless and looked as though it could glow.

Upon her arrival, she was greeted with a large smile by the headmistress: Minerva McGonagall. She had heard many stories about the elder woman. Most speaking of her strength and brilliance.

She was also greeted by Harry Potter. Harry Potter wasn't someone she held a high opinion on. In all actuality, she could care less about him.

"Well look what the dragon dragged in," a woman teased a man as he approached. The woman was beautiful. Her held was held high with pride. Her shoulders were posed with much grace. As the woman strolled across the room, her caramel hair flew behind her slightly. "It's nice to see you, Victor."

"Very vice to see vuo to, Nova," the man's deep voice said as he grinned.

Nova Potter, neé Potter, someone she hated. Someone she hated more than life itself. Someone she'd do anything to see suffer.

"Vello, Harry," Victor Krum greeted the green-eyed hero.

"It's nice to see you again, Victor," Harry grinned.

After a short conversation, the group of transfers left the office. They followed Minerva down to the Great Hall. Many were ogling at Nova and Harry. Both were famous across the world.

She hated them. Nova more so.

"Welcome, Tranfers!" McGonagall greeted with a smile. "Take a seat anywhere you wish!"

She made her way to the table to the farthest left. She sat next to just the person she was looking for; James Potter.

She must say, she wasn't disappointed upon seeing him. He was one of the most attractive people her eyes have ever laid upon. His hair was the perfect combination between messy and tamed. His honey eyes shone with mischief and a sense of intelligence. His tan skin only improved his appearance. He spared her a single glance before looking back at Minnie.

What the fuck? She asked herself. Not once had someone spent a millisecond looking at her.

Across from James was a girl that was also attractive. She knew instantly this was Jade Potter. She must say, Jade's beauty almost matched her own. Much like her brother, she had perfectly tanned skin. That's where their similarities ended. Jade has long golden caramel hair and vibrant green eyes.

Beside Jade was a Hispanic dressed in canary robes.

She didn't spare him a glance.

On the opposite side of James was another girl. Her long shady brown hair was pulled into a fishtail braid and her crystal blue eyes looked st the headmistress with interest.

Again, she spared her no glance.

"I am pleased you have all chosen to come to Hogwarts for your travel year," Minerva gave a small smile. "A quidditch tournament will begin within a month."

Ah...quidditch. She hated quidditch.

"I'm sure all of my students are tired of hearing me babble-"

"A bunch of babbling bubbling band of babbons!" Jade Potter chanted as she stood with a lopsided grin. "Just quoting you, Mins! Anyways, we love hearing you talk!"

"Thank you for the trip down memory lane, Miss Potter," Minerva said. "However, I implore you to sit and welcome our public speaker."

Jade sat down after sending a wink at Minnie for dramatic precautions.

"Please welcome Nova Potter!"

The doors flew open and a woman strutted in. She wore a black leather jacket that was clearly worn, but still in good shape. The front of her red shirt was tucked into her jeans. Her black converses hit the ground with a soft thud.

"Hi, mum!" James shouted and waved at his mother.

"'Ello, James," Nova greeted.

Nova turned too face the group of students once she reached the podium where the staff ate. She stood starring at each student for a few moments before turning back to Minerva.

"What the bloody hell am I speaking about?"

Minerva facepalmed before whispering to Nova.

"Only kidding, Mins! I know what I'm supposed to talk about," Nova grinned.

The devil's here, she thought bitterly.

"The last time Hogwarts had visitors in a large mass, many died. Many have to deal with the guilt of surviving. Many suffer from a muggle term called PTSD, myself among them." Nova spoke loudly. "But before that, two schools sent a fee dozen students to join us for a year. That year, I met teo life long friends. That year I lost one."

There was a small smirk dancing across the lips of the Golden Marauders at the mention of the last one. It was almost as if they knew something.

"I only hope that it goes better for you. I urge you to treat everyone with kindness. To be accepting to all, no matter race, religion, sexuality, nationality, or gender." Nova spoke with a hint of wisdom. "We are all human. We are all equal. There shouldn't be a reason to hate upon another human for something they can't control.

"As many of you know, there will be a Quidditch Tournament held as a friendly competition. For older students, there will he scouts in the stands as there always has been. That hasn't changed. I wish everyone the best of luck," mischief sparked in Nova's honey eyes. "Now for my own contest for you to complete. Whomever can preform the best prank this term will be award with a free life time access to all Weasley Wizard Wheezes! This means for the rest of your life, you can moderately get anything you want for free from this particular shop. I highly suggest prabker Professor Potter-"

"Nova!" Minerva hissed.

"Only kidding, Minnie!" Nova said quickly before winking at the students. As she spoke again, she address individual students. "James, don't forget your Potions essay is due tomorrow. Jade, your shampoo is in your dorm. Ruby, I found that book you were looking for. Freddie, stay away from he hippogriffs-"

"That was one time!" A ginger shot up to object.

"Lily, your hat is in your father's office. Marco, Blaise told me to remind you about your history project. Elsyse, Oli wishes you luck. Rose, Ronald said to stay away from boys. Hugo, Hermione found your chess pieces. Scorpius, your snake slippers are being sent to your dorm." Nova said. "Roxanne, your mum said to not listen to your dad."

Most of the school was erupting into small giggles at Nova's words.

She, however, wished for Nova to leave.

Her prayers had been answered. Nova had wished goodbye and moved toward the door.

"Oh!" Nova stuck her head back into the room just as she was about to leave. She made eye contact with her husband before grinning. "It's your turn to do dishes tonight, darlin!"

After the excitement of Nova being present had died down, the Great Hall settled into silent chatter.

She listened in silence as the Golden Marauders conversed to themselves. She was hoping to find any information at all.

Suddenly James turned to her.

"I'm James Potter." He grinned. "That's my twin, Jade." He motioned to the Hispanic. "That's Marco, and that's Roxanne." A girl with wavy brown hair nodded in acknowledgement. She was clearly mixed race. "Freddie is off flirting with his reflection-"

"Shove off!" The ginger from earlier grinned. "I was actually talking to Julie."

"And this is Elyse," James smiled as he motioned to the blonde, ignoring his best friend.

Jade did not miss the look the mystery girl sent Roxanne and Marco.

Red flag.

Jade already didn't like her.

"I'm Skylyn. Skylyn Hathalley." The girl spoke with a fake smile.

So far her plan was going smoothly.

Hi! Sorry for not updating this fanfic. I wasn't sure how I wanted to format it at first, but I think I've got it now.

Anyways...thoughts on Skylyn?
