The Marauders

"Oi! Padfoot!" James Fleamont Potter called to his best mate. "Do you remember-"

A gold mist settled over the group in the Room of Requirement, making it impossible for anyone to see.

For James's eighteenth birthday, he wished for nothing more than to have his friends and girlfriend celebrating happily. He wanted nothing more than to forget about the war for one night. To forget about the probability of the people he loves not making it out to the other end.

"When I find my wand," a deadly voice came as the mist faded. "I'm killing you, James."

"Excuse me?" Sirius raised a brow, stepping forward as he challenged the girl. "You won't be murdering my best mate."

"Happy birthday, past Jamesie!" Sirius said in hopes of diffusing the tension.

It didn't work.

"Jade," a boy with naturally tanned skin warned. His warm brown eyes shone with worry. "Don't."

"I do what I want, old man," the girl with forest green eyes and caramel hair stepped forward. Everyone took instant notice of her Slytherin tie meaning she's a Hogwarts student. But James has never seen her. "Besides, I'm not talking 'bout good ol' Prongsie over there. I'm talking about my brother that got us into this damn mess."

"Technically," another boy spoke. He looked nothing like his sister. His dark raven hair curled slightly as his amber eyes rolled. "Freddie got us here."

"We all know Freddie can't catch anything to save his damn life," scoffed another girl in a Slytherin tie. Unlike the first girl, her hair fell around her shoulders.

"Who are you?" Lily Evans spoke up, eyeing the young girl that looked a lot like herself.

"How do you know about Prongs's nickname?" Peter Pettigrew asked.

All the Time Travelers turned to him slowly. Almost instantly, their confusion turned to recognition.

The first boy to speak lurched forward to grab 'Jade'. He successfully wrapped his strong arms around her torso from behind as she launched herself forward. He pulled her back into his chest as he began to whisper into her ear, calming her down.

The Marauders, Lily Evans, Alice, Frank, Dorcas, and Marlene were too shocked to react when Peter was knocked to the ground.

James Sirius repeatedly punched Peter in his face, growling dangerously.

"GET HIM, JAMESIE!" Regulus cheered.

"BEAT HIS ARSE!" James shouted in celebration. "NO MERCY!"

"DON'T HOLD BACK!" Sirius declared. "KILL HIM!"

"KILL THAT RAT!" Remus yelled after swallowing the chocolate he had been eating.

All of the future kids (minus Marco who was still trying to calm Jade down) lurched forward to drag James off of the passed-out and bloodied rat.

"JAMES SIRIUS POTTER!" the Lily Evans replica shouted. "GET OFF OF HIM RIGHT NOW BEFORE I CALL MUM!"

Eighteen-year-old Sirius Black was the first to come to his senses. The moment 'Jame Sirius' was pulled back, he raised his wand.

"Who are you?" He growled.

"Well isn't this a wonderful family reunion?" the female Remus Lupin groaned sarcastically. "We've got Marco using his 'Buzz Buzz Magic' to calm Jade down. We've got Jamesie trying to murder the fucking rat. We've got Papa Siri trying to kill us."

"It's not like we planned this vacation," Roxanne rolled her eyes as she shot a scathing look towards Freddie. "Someone touched something he shouldn't have."

"I'm hungry," Hugo declared.

"Well I'm sorry," Freddie exclaimed exasperatedly. "I see something shiny. I touch the shiny thing."

"What are you?" Elyse shouted as her blazing crystal blue eyes glared at him. "A damn niffler?"

"Do you guys have cookies?" Hugo asked James Senior.

James Senior, not quite out of his shock and confusion, handed the younger boy the cookies.

"Thanks," Hugo nodded before he and Lily found a seat to snack on cookies in.

"Actually-"

"SHUT UP!" James Senior roared causing the group to fall silent. "Who are you?"

"I'm Rose Nova Granger-Weasley," a girl with bushy red hair and electric blue eyes said as she stepped forward. "I-"

She stopped abruptly as Ruby started hissing.

James hissed back.

Jade, who finally go over her fit of rage, started hissing too.

Lily Minerva, with cookie crumbs coating her lips, hissed.

"Will it kill you Potters not to speak in parseltongue!" Scorpius groaned. "Honestly!"

"Potters?"

"Parsletongue?"

"Oop-" Scorpius blushed as he scratched the back of his neck.

"Good job, Scorp," Roxanne growled.

"Excuse me," Alice spoke up. "I would like to know what the absolute fuck is going on."

"Exactly," Dorcas added. "How'd you get here?"

"Ya see," Jade began with a smirk. "When a mummy and a daddy love each other very much, they do this dance. As a result of this dance, an alien called a fetus-"

"No," Remus said sarcastically. "That's not how it works at all."

"That's why I'm here," she grinned. "To educate you boomers."

"What's a-"

"Who are you?" Sirius persisted with a growl.

"Damn, it's like a one-way street with you," Marco remarked sassily.

"Well, seeing as I don't trust Death-"

"We aren't Death Eaters," Roxanne butted in.

"Then what are you?"

"Humans with morals and kick-arse attitudes," Freddie piped up.

"That's a bit of a stretch," Sirius sassed as his curly black hair fell perfectly around his head. "Seeing as these two-" he pointed to James and Jade. "-tried killing Peter."

"It's alright really," Elyse shrugged. "You try killing him personally in 1980 and again in 1994."

Lily Evans stepped forward.

"If you aren't Death Eaters," she began calmly. "Could you please tell us who you are?"

"I'm Fredrick George Weasley," Freddie stepped forward. "Gryffindor. Grandson to Molly and Arthur Weasley."

Freddie's confession seemed to spark courage and security into the group. One by one, they reach stepped forward.

"Scorpius Malfoy," the blonde stepped forward. "Slyterin. Grandson to Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy. No, I don't believe in the pureblood shit."

Sirius, who was about to ask that question, closed his mouth.

"Rose Nova Granger-Weasley," the bushy haired ginger announced. "Gryffindor. Granddaughter to Molly and Arthur Weasley. My mum is a muggleborn so you wouldn't know her parents."

"Marco Zabini-Nott," the boy wit olive skin said as he stepped up from his place beside Jade and James.

"Buzz Buzz," Jade coughed under her breath.

"Hufflepuff. Adopted son of Blaise Zabini and Theodore Nott." He finished after ignoring Jade.

"Roxanne Alicia Weasley," Roxxy stepped forward proudly but with great nervousness. "Ravenclaw. Granddaughter to Molly and Arthur Weasley."

"Hugo Granger-Weasley," the 'Cookie-Boy' as James Senior was calling him mentally. "Gryffindor. Grandson of Molly and Arthur Weasley. Rose's brother."

"Elyse Angelina Wood-"

"Legally Blonde."

"Shut up, Freddie." she shot him a look. "Slytherin. You won't know my parents or grandparents."

"I'm Lily Minerva Potter," the Lily Evans replica declared.

"Prongs, mate!" Remus snorted. "You're practically pissing yourself from excitement down there."

"What did you expect?" Marlene scoffed. "Those kids down there are proof Lily and James shagged."

"Gryffindor," she continued. "Youngest granddaughter to Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, James Potter, and Lily Evans."

"What-?"

Remus's question was ignored as Ruby stepped forward.

"Ruby Regulus Potter," she declared. "Ravenclaw. Granddaughter to Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, James Potter, and Lily Evans."

"How-?"

"James Sirius Potter," the boy who had attacked Peter earlier spoke proudly. "Gryffindor. Grandson of Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, James Potter Sr. and Lily Evans. I definitely live up to my namesakes and drive Minnie mad-"

"So did Mum," Ruby sassed with a roll of her amber eyes. "Move on."

"Jade Hermione Potter," the girl spoke. She had three piercings in each of her ears and a cartilage in her right. "Slytherin. Granddaughter to Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, James Potter, and Lily Evans. Freewilling bisexual that will make you run to your mummy if need be."

"Why did you beat Peter to a pulp?" Frank asked. He looked almost exactly like Neville, a close family friend.

"How are you four the grandchildren of us?"

"How'd you get here?"

"Am I hot in the future?"

"No, you're all dead." Hugo said in monotone.

"Hugo!"

"It's Peter's fault for part of it. He's mainly at fault for ruining my parents' childhood," Ruby shrugged.

"He's the reason my dad only got a year with his parents," Lily Potter added. "And my mum had three years with hers."

"Who are your parents?" Alice asked.

"Harry James Potter and Nova Lily Lupin-Black," James Sirius answered. "War heroes. Dad defeats Voldy Moldy. Mum is just an overall badass."

"How-?"

"Doctor takes a sex cell from grandad numero uno and grandad numero dos. Transfigures one into the female counter part," Jade began. "Fetus mum goes into a machine. Nine months later she's alive and you have a daughter!"

"I die when she's three?"

"No, grandad numero dos, you die shortly after she turns sixteen," Jade stated. She opened her mouth to speak again but a hand was thrown over her mouth.

"Shut up, Jade!" Roxanne whisper shouted.

"We need to find a way home," Ruby declared. "We can call Mum-"

"Oh yeah!" James rolled his eyes sarcastically. "Let's just call Mum!"

"Sure!" Jade continued. "Let's just pull out our W-Phones and go, 'Hey, Merly, facetime Mum'. Because that makes total fucking sense!"

The Marauders all shared a glance of confusion.

Sure enough, a voice came through the phone in Jade's pocket.

"Jade?" Nova Potter called. "What did you need?"

"Mum!" Jade exclaimed happily as she pulled her phone out.

"Where are you?" James asked.

"At home," Nova answered sounding confused.

"Why aren't you on the phone?"

"Considering I'm butt arse naked right now," Nova sassed sounding physically distant. "I'd rather not flash you with my body."

"Why are you-"

"Honestly, James," Nova appeared before them dressed in her leather jacket and clothes "Do you shower with your clothes on?"

"No-"

"Exactly," she nodded as she examined the group. "Are you in the Room of Requirement?"

"Ye-"

Rose stopped answering when Nova's eyes fell upon teenage Sirius Black.

"Care to explain why I'm looking at a teenage verion of Da, Pa, Uncle Prongs, Aunt Flower, Aunt Dorky, Mr. Longbottom, Mrs. Longbottom, and Aunt Marles?" Nova raised her brow. "And whatever that bloody lump is."

"Did you stick your mother in a box?" James Senior asked increduously.

Scorpius snorted.

"No, it's a cell phone-"

"Roxanne," Nova addressed the darker girl. "What happened?"

"It's Freddie's fault," Elyse, James, and Scorpius stated in unison.

"Freddie found a time turner," the girl explained. "He tossed it to James and James threw it back to him."

Lily and Jade Potter shared a look before throwing it back. . .as in the tik tok dance.

"What the hell was that?" Remus asked the two girls.

"It's a tik tok dance."

"What year are you in?" Nova asked as she rubbed her temples. "'Cause you obviously aren't in 2019 anymore."

"March 27, 1978," Lily Evans answered, deciding to take charge. She knew her boys would mess it up and Marlene might just sit there talking with them instead of getting them home.

"Hey! It's Uncle Prongs's birthday! Happy birthday, Uncle Prongs!" Nova grinned before looking back at the kids. "Is the time turner broken?"

"No," Hugo spoke up after eating his cookies. He held up a golden necklace proudly. "Thought it might be useful."

"It might not work as well . . ." she stated thoughtfully. "Rose, did you finish your extra credit project for Harry's class on time turners?"

"Yeah."

"Good. I need you two to make sure it isn't going to malfunction," Nova nodded. "James, Jade, Marco, you're going to obliviate them-"

"What the hell?" Sirius demanded. "You can't just do that-?"

"Watch me," Nova stated. "I'm betting they already told you who they are considering you aren't trying to kill them."

Sirius huffed and sat down.

"You look like a moody teenage girl," Alex snorted.

Sirius scowled.

"Anyways," Nova turned back to her kids. "Kids, behave-"

"You aren't mad?"

"I'm pissed," Nova nodded. "But I'd rather get you home first. Hopefully it' soon. We all know how Harry gets when you're gone too long. Hell he even gets worried when I'm late coming home from work." she frowned. "I guess it makes sense with everything considered."

"Ya think," Marco snorted under his breath.

Nova rolled her eyes.

"Don't do anything stupid," Nova advised. "Aunt Flower . . .I mean Lily Evans."

"Here."

"Can you please make sure nothing happens?" she asked. "I wouldn't asked anyone else seeing as one of them is going to try and give my children drugs and alcohol."

"Weren't you drinking at 13-"

"That's not the point, Ruby," Nova countered. "And it was technically twelve."

The moment Nova was gone, Sirius spoke again.

"If I die when she's sixteen but only get three years with her," he began. "What the hell happened?"
