A/N: we look back into how earth was overran by monsters.

Above a planet inhabited by storms named Tau-e, a large ship moving over it. An emigration project was to happen. However, a young man by the name of Haruo Sakaki attempted to stop the project by keeping himself in a large craft bound with explosives. Alarms were soon set off about this and now soldiers were surrounding the craft, ready to prevent haruo from going through with it. Eventually, a screen from inside the part of the craft he was sitting in turned on and a voice was heard.

Captain Sakaki, Please respond. We Should be able to communicate.

Haruo: My intentions are to leave planet Tau-e immediately, and abandon the emigration project. Until I hear from the captain, I'm not moving from here.  

The Tau-e emigration decision was made by the central committee. Your interference will be classified as a first-degree crime.

Haruo: people will not survive on that planet! If I'm a criminal, then the committee members are murderers!

Look at this.

The screen soon changed to a list of volunteers to the project.

The emigration list is made up of volunteers. Why do you interfere?

Haruo: Shut Up!

The soldiers outside had their weapons at the ready.

Haruo: You gathered old men and women, coerced them, and call that volunteering? You're going to kill them! All you want to do is reduce the mouths to feed!

Watch your words, Captain!

Haruo: We're communicating through an open channel. Everyone on this ship can hear us, right?

Through out the ship, haruo could be heard speaking.

Haruo: Right now, this ship is trying to abandon the elderly people. We may be low on resources. But can this be forgiven? Weren't we looking for the promised land that would save us? Can you really abandon the weak and continue to hold your head up high? 

Adam: Sakaki...

Haruo: I'll wait one hour. If this ship doesn't change course, I will blow up this shuttle. I'm not bluffing.

Another screen inside the part of the shuttle that haruo was in. Much to Haruo's surprise, It was his adoptive grandfather, Daichi Tani. Grandfatherof Yuko Tani,a childhood friend of haruo.

Daichi: Please stop already, Captain Sakaki. It's true that we, the volunteers, really do want to go to Tau-e. We're not being chased out or anything.

Haruo: Don't be foolish! This is suicide!

Daichi: We've been on this ship for over 20 years while wandering through space. The young people may be able to endure this. But for us, we're at our limit.

As the two spoke to each other, the soldiers moved in further to the shuttle, with one just above it.

Haruo: But... if you give up, then...

Daichi: Haruo.

Haruo: ...then it's all over!

Daichi: Haruo! It's okay. At least, when I die, I'd like to be standing on land. It could be on any planet.

Haruo: .....Grandpa.....

He looked in anger for a moment before reluctantly stopping and not even making a move as the soldiers entered the shuttle and surrounded him. Moments after, he was cuffed and incarcerated as the shuttle was taking off to land on the planet. As he was incarcerated, Haruo watched the ship descend from to the planet from the bottom window of his cell. He continued to watched before something happened. An explosion went off from the top level of the shuttle before more happened and the whole shuttle was destroyed, killing all who were inside. Haruo screamed out in anger as he watched the nightmare happen.

(Flashback).

Haruo: It began in the last summer of the 20th Century.

1999.

In New York, People were walking around or pass each other, minding their own business. However, something in the sky, moving at incredible speed soon drew the attention of a few people who noticed. However, it was soon too late as a part of a building was slashes by a large insect type claw, causing the portion of the building to fall as people soon ran and scream in terror. Some would even be picked off by the creature itself and devoured. Infants of the creature, known as Kamacuras, attacked the subways to get to any people who tried hiding underground. The rampage was finally ended when Kamacuras was hit with a bunker buster bomb. However, when it crashed, it took a few more lives within before dying. Once the attack was over, 2.5 million people had suffered due to the attack. Men, women and children alike.

Haruo: For the first time...... Humanity realized they weren't the rulers of this planet anymore. 

2002.

London and Manchester were attacked by a giant alien organism known as Dogora. 

Man 1: run.

Many people ran for their lives in the streets and debris fell on some and crushing them, while others were snatched up by the large jellyfish type creature. They tried making it to the bridge, but before most could even get to it, Dogora wrapped it's tentacles around the bridge, lifted it up before breaking it appear and killing the people who were on the bridge as others fell in the ocean or streets. The monster soon met it's had by the hands of chemical weapons. 4 million people died during the attack.

Haruo: Monsters.

2005.

In Asia, one flying monster by the name of Rodan and a subterranean monster by the name of Anguirus attack china and beijing. Buildings would fall into the ground due to anguirus' burrowing. Other buildings were blow away or knocked down due to the waves rodan leaves behind when he passed. The Chinese forces would eventually release a bio weapon known as Hedorah out to kill them both.

Soldier 1: It's working. Look, it's killing them!

He yelled as both rodan and anguirus were being burned up and sufficated by the bio weapon creature.

Soldier 2: We did it! The Plan worked!

Soldier 3: Wait a minute, look!

After killing anguirus and rodan, hedorah burst through the great wall and went on a rampage.

Haruo: From the depths of the earth and sea, or even from a forgotten divine myth, They kept appearing relentlessly. 

In the 2010s, Dagahra attacked South Africa. When the Small starfish creatures that spawned from him known as Barems, interfered with military operations and attacks on Dagahra. He would later reappear in sydney and devastate the city before moving onto newcastle. The government was thrown into chaos and in the confusion, gave the ill-advised order to attack Dagahra.

Captain: Fire!

Heavily powered missiles were fired in the direction of the beast and were able to damage it greatly.

Captain: Ha, got the bastard!

However, this caused some barem to fall off of it. Dagahara roared in pain before it flew out to sea, where it died and contaminated the surrounding waters with huge numbers of barem. Leading to a huge pandemic that claimed the lives of 3 million people. Australia's waters became heavily polluted by the starfish and it received no foreign aid, eventually collapsing. An estimated 6.7 million people were killed or wounded in Dagahra's attack.

2022.

A Monster named Orga appeared and attacked a refugee came in turkey. They fired at the beast, but it's large arms acted a big defense from the missiles and attack as it lifed up a large chunk of the street itself before tossing it in their direction.

Soldier 4: watch out!

It was too late as many soldiers were crushed from the rubble. After the attack, orga was eventually destroyed in ankara. The casualties were reported from the attack were 1.15 million, however, the death toll likely exceeded 10 million if refugees were taken into account.

Haruo: In order to bring an end to Humanity's prosperity.

In the second half of 2030, many ships began to disappear, including a nuclear submarine. Sometime later on Odo Island, the corpse of a Kamoebas would wash ashore. Not many people were sure about waht it was until later in the year.

Haruo: And then, in the end, our worst nightmare appeared.

In Los Angeles, an injured Varan, Baragon, as well as another anguirus washed ashore after escaping what seemed like a heavy battle for them. As the 3 monsters moved further from the water, a neon blue beam was soon shot out of it, hitting varan in the back and through the chest, killing it. Both Angurius and Baragon looked to see a large beast rising from the water. The same one that had attacked them, had found them once more to finished what it had started. Once it fully risen from the ocean, it let out a horrifying roar that would be remembered for generations.

(Best turn down volume).

Haruo: Godzilla.

After killing Baragon and Anguirus, The Monster known as Godzilla would completely destroy La and San Francisco. Causing an estimated 8.7 million casualties.

Haruo: Human or monster, it burned everything in sight. The avatar of destruction.

In desperation, the U.S.government hurled 150 nuclear warheads at godzilla. Totaling at nearly 40 megatons of power. And it still wasn't even enough to scratch it. 

Government Official: I..... i don't believe this thing is unstoppable. 

After so many attacks, the world population had dwindled down to an estimated 2.3 bilion, from about 7 billion in the race's heyday.

Haruo: The earth collapsed and the skies rained fire. And then, it was not only Earth's humans who feared its destructive power.

In 2035, the Exif aliens made first contact with humanity, appearing in New York.

Endurph: People of Earth, we are the Exif. We are observers and predictors. We have come to tell you of your destiny. Your time of destruction is nigh. You must discover a path to devotion.

The year after, Bilusaludo aliens arrived on Earth, appearing above london.

Halu-Elu Dolu-Do: We are the Bilusaludo. Our home planet, the third planet in the Bilusaludia Binary System, was swallowed by an accursed black hole and destroyed. We are requesting immigration to this solar system's third planet. If you accept, we promise to eradicate your planet's greatest threat, Godzilla.

Haruo: Those from a far away galaxy, who were after this blue planet for themselves, didn't wait for this paradise of oxygen and water to become scorched earth.

In 2039, The Earth Union, Composed of Humanity, The Exif and the Bilusaludo, was formed. Mechs and other weapons were created to combat the attacking monsters still going on. But even so, They were not match for the power that godzilla possesed. There was one final attempt and hope for humanity, a mecha named Mechagodzilla was created. However, Godzilla arrived in hammatsu in march, and engaged in a decisive final battle with the united earth. Mecha godzilla could not activate.

Bilusaludo Member 1: Godzilla has passed the defense line!

Mulu-Elu Galu-Gu: The Walls will give us some time.

One of the members spoke through a microphone.

Bilusaludo Member 2: A3 and A5 blocks' AIs are silent!

Bilusaludo Member 1: Mechagodzilla won't activate!

Galu-Gu: Why won't it activate!

Bilusaludo Member 2: Atomic breath detected! Incoming!

The blast destroyed the fourth armored wall.

Bilusaludo Member 3: The fourth armored wall is gone! It's over!

Bilusaludo Member 1: We have no choice. Evacuate!

Dolu-Do:All Units, evacuate! Hurry!

Galu-Gu tried to convince Dolu-Do to stay behind and activate mechagodzilla.

Galu-Gu: Wait! If we can activate Mechagodzilla, we can defeat it!

Dolu-Do: We're leaving, Galu-gu.

The place soon collapsed, leaving mechagodzilla under rubble.

Haruo: However, even with the humanoids' gathered intelligence, the destroyer's powers overwhelmed us completely. 

2048.

A child haruo was holding the hand of a young Daichi to keep up with him while he was looking down at something that was from his parents that looked like a metallic necklace. Haruo's parents entrusted him to the care of Daichi, who was escorting him aboard the Aratrum, a ship in which 5,000 passagers were selected to aboard. Humanity was leaving earth.

Kid Haruo: Where's Mom and Dad?

Young Daichi: They'll catch up soon. See? That's the bus.

He pointed out to the window as they kept moving. Haruo saw the approaching busses. However, someone soon noticed something.

Random Person: Hey, what's that?

They all looked as saw that in the distance, Godzilla was coming.

Random Person: It's Godzilla!

Everyone inside the building soon hurried to the ship as godzilla was charging his beam. During so, Haruo dropped the necklace. As one of the ships tried to escape, godzilla blast it down and the explosion caused the second ship to crash to the ground. The explosion from the second one hit the buses, killing all who were on it, even haruo's parents. The boy could do nothing but run at watch as the beast the killed his parents roared among the destruction. He and the rest of the survivors  of humanity aborded the ship and escaped earth, leaving it to godzilla's rule. 

Haruo: I remembered the flames that burned on that day. And the sunken, despaired faces of the adults. We departed hoping to find another inhabitable planet. However,  we would soon pay the price for such foolish optimism. In the frozen, black space, this was a kind of hell worse than our planet destroyed in flames. there were endless days of suffering for hunger, thirst, and cold. Some fell to disease. And others gradually lost their sanity. Our brethren's numbers plummeted in the blink of an eye. Even those still living had not time to mourn the dead. Kindness and pride are now long-gone stories of the past. A fairy tale from the time we each had unlimited access to water and oxygen. Where are we going.... and for what reason? Must we endure the misery of having prolonged our lives by sacrificing others? Why are we alive? Why? Why?
