Temple: Minerva's main temple in Lindensea is in the spa town of Sunwater in Summershire, which includes a great healing complex. The temple in Camden is on Mercury Street, and also includes healing baths.

Initiation: Takes place between the ages of sixteen and eighteen. Although open to all members of the temple, the requirements are so stringent that few initiates are accepted each year. Candidates must pass a physical fitness test and demonstrate prowess in at least one fighting technique. They must also pass an examination covering civics, philosophy, Latin and Ancient Greek. Having passed both these, their final trial is to produce a fine specimen of either the arts or the crafts - a poem, a song, a play, a tapestry, or a sword, for example. As you can imagine, becoming a full initiate of the Temple of Minerva is very prestigious, and provides a ready pathway to tertiary education and employment.

Merged with: Sula, the Tirathic goddess of healing

Minerva is the most popular god in Lindensea after Mercury, and it is said that the average Lindensonian will be a devotee of either Mercury or Minerva, and in many cases, both. She has been of great importance even before the Romans arrived, as the Tirathic peoples worshipped her under the name of Sula, a healing goddess.

Minerva has major worship centres in all the kingdoms of The Isles, and the one in the town of Sunwater is built over natural healing springs that devotees have visited since time out of mind. A beautiful historic spa town, Sunwater is known for its elegant classical buildings and peaceful green parklands, and is well worth the pilgrimage.
