1st: Festival of the First Lambs (sacred to Juno)
This early spring festival is one that all women are expected to participate in, as it is dedicated to Juno. The Temple of Juno will light a bonfire with prayers and hymns to the goddess, and water from Juno's sacred well is drunk for healing purposes, or in hopes of conceiving. It is the traditional start of the spring cleaning, and a woollen doll is often placed somewhere to represent Juno blessing the home with her presence.
A piece of weather folklore is that if the weather is cold and wet today, spring is just around the corner, while if it is a fine day, there are still seven more weeks of winter ahead. The traditional meal this day is cream of leek soup, corned beef with mashed potato and cabbage, and pancakes topped with butter, cream cheese, and honey.

23rd: Day of Boundaries
This day do landowners visit the boundary stones that mark the limits of their property to renew them. The stones are decorated with leaves and flowers, and prayers said and hymns sung over them. Through this annual ritual is friendship between neighbours encouraged.
