The next day, the Kaiju Demi human leaves the Inn along with his along with his partner. They pass through the gates, the guards giving them the evil eye. Only to look away sweating when his blazing gaze sweeps across them. They soon come across a field, when something leaps out at them. Dagon lashes out and grabs the creature.

       He tightens his grip, and makes the creature pop. He then draws the simple iron sword he had found leaning against a grave. He stabs one of them, making it pop. Each slash growing more powerful than the last. The balloon creatures seem to turn to flee, only to be destroyed instantly. Demetria watches in awe as Dagon obliterates all the balloons attacking him.

Soon, they're gone. They hear more popping sounds, and see the Spear Heroine jabbing some of the creatures. Dagon waves, and she waves back. One of the balloon monsters, obviously smarter than the rest, leaps out at him, too fast for him to raise his sword.

He whirls around, and his spines glow blue, before he fires a bright blue beam of flames from his mouth. It vaporises the poor creature, leaving nothing behind. Dagon closes his mouth, exhaling lightly, causing some blue steam to puff out of his nostrils. He then tears his head back, and lets out a booming roar.

"Got a new skill! Let me test it!"

Dagon arm starts to swell, his middle finger and index merged together, and black scales cover it. He flexes the massive fingers, before bringing it down on one sole surviving balloon monster trying to sneak away. His arm then reverts back, his gauntlet quickly reappearing.

"That was awesome!"

"Dagon! That was amazing!"

"Thanks Demetria. Let's get going. We need to find more of these things."

But as they walk through the plains, they see a small gathering of Balloon monster jumping at something small and bipedal, knocking it around. Dagon charges up, before unleashing another Atomic Breath, brining the pesky monsters away. He then moves aside some burning blade of grass, spotting the thing they were attacking.

     The small infant growls, before turning around and trying to reach the tip of it's tail, which is smooth and shiny like metal. Dagon chuckles, before gently picking up the baby, and scratching it behind on of its small horns. The infant peeps, and tries to bite his fingers, but soon relaxes.

"Oh my goodness! It's so cute! Can I hold it, please?!"

"Sure. It might bite you though."

Demetria gently picks up the hatchling, and gently muzzles against it. The baby seems to like and snuggles into her warmth.
