It's the second day of Season 8 for the hermits in Hermitcraft who got 2 new members the day prior and everyone has already split themselves into groups of 8:
Group 1 is Boatem
The second group is BigEyes
And the third group is octagon,
Group 4 is the swamp lump
And group 5 is the shattered Sabana, Group 6 is horse head farms,
Group 7 is the evil empire
And finally group 8 the Hohenzollern castle

That's all the districts and the people within the districts are:
Boatem - Grian, Mumbo, Scar, Pearl and Impulse
Big eyes - Tango, Keralis and Bdubs
Octagon - DocM77 and RenTheDog
The swamp lump - False, Gem and stress
The shattered Savana - Iskall and Etho
Horse head farms - XBcrafted and hypnotized
Evil empire - Xisuma, Jevin, beef and Wels
Hohenzollern castle - Joe and Cleo

While the new members were getting settled into their own shopping Districts, Gem decided to go to Boatem and play a prank on Pearl. Little did Gem know that this was going to turn into a prank war.

While Gem was building the prank, she saw Grian sorting out admin stuff with the life series that started this season and instead of Gem pranking Pearl, Gem decided to prank Grian.

Later once Gem was done with her little shenanigans, Pearl decided to check on Grian who was Pearls old admin and while Pearl was checking on Grian; she saw a failed attempt at a prank and she know who it was, the Sun Goddess herself Gem, Pearl decided to confront Gem about it.

As Pearl arrived at Gem's base she walking in and Gem said "hey pearl, how are you doing?" Asked Gem, when pearl came in all drenched from the thunderstorm outside the building "not bad but I do have to ask you something, we're you the one that made a prank in Grian's base but failed at hiding it?" pearl asked with concern in her voice, she saw Gem was figiting with something in her hands, she NEVER figited with anything and all of a sudden she does this made Pearl worry

"Listen Gem, I may be the goodness of the moon, but I promise you, I know you more then anyone" Pearl stated with worry in her voice, Gem noticed the change in her voice and proceeded to notice she was figiting stopping it "Sorry, just a little stressed, that's all, I'm fine" Gem said nervously, this was when Pearl know something was up but she wasn't getting any information from forcing her so Pearl helped Gem with anything she needed all week and from then on something weird started happening

"PEARL, PUSH THE MOON AWAY FROM HERMITCRAFT" Gem shouted, she can only control the sun, not the moon and either way she wouldn't have forced the moon to crash into a server she loves "I HAD NO CONTROL OVER THE MOON RECENTLY" Pearl shouted back at gem, knowing that the moon was going to crash and there was nothing they could do to stop it
