On The Island

Laying on the disregard island was the same robotic looking girl.

But now she was lifeless, as her body didn't move a single inch as she landed on the ground.

But after many hours of silence the girls eyes opened to reveal her sapphire eyes, she then raised herself from the sandy ground.

And as the sand rushed off of her and returned to the earth, the girl became to look around.

???: {Unit in unknown environment. Begining scam of the area.)

The girls eyes shined a bright blue and, she began to take everything into herself.

???: {Scan completed.... Place: A biological planet teaming with life... Mission detective: Unknown..... Attempting to reconnect with Over mind.}

The girl stood there as her mind started to thread a small strand of tread. And tried to connect with the over mind but...

???: ARGHHHHH!!!

A sharp electrical pain ran through her body, as her body collapsed. And her mind felt like it was on fire.

???: {Unknown damage sustained to unit, attempting to repair damaged systems....}

But no matter how hard the girl tried, to "repair herself" it would always end the same.

???: {Unable to locate damage, unable to connect to overmind. Unit has lost all purpose... Commencing deletion of Atheon AI.}

Atheon's eyes started to shine a bright blue, as a white glow started to illuminate in her chest, and started to pulse with an ethereal glow. Eventually a bright light consumed the entire Island, but when it died down the girl was still standing. Her eyes still burned with life inside of them even though they were Hollow and empty.

She brought up her hands up and started to touch her face, her hands then trailed down to where her core used to be. In the center of her stomach, but she can no longer feel the clear metal case that contained the Radiolaria fluids.

She then brought her hand up towards where that bright white flash was, and could feel the fluids pumping in her chest. She also felt a beating.

Bum bum

The slow steady beating of an organic heart beat in her chest, with its arithmic flow. The girl had no idea what this was. As a searing pain ran through her skull once again she was met with a shocking result.

Her recent scan of her body showed that, half of her body was organic, while the other half was inorganic. And as the information flowed into her brain she felt as if her processors were about to fry.

How could this have happened? What happened to this unit?

That inescapable question played through her mind, and felt as if a taunting joke was being played on someone. And that someone had no idea what it even was.

Atheon: {System unable to discover how organic matter has infected unit, shut down unable to be accessed, deletion of AI interrupted by something. Mission: unknown.}

The girl wondered what was her purpose now? She then felt as if she needed to look up, and with some unknown Force she looked up at the glistening night sky that illumed to the sky.

And as her sapphire eyes glistened with the starring night sky, she couldn't help but feel something change in her new organic heart.

It beats slightly faster, and she felt a warm feeling enveloped it. But at last she had no idea what this was, she assumed she was overheating, but when she looked the report of her body she found no such thing was happening.

Atheon:......... What is.... my purpose? {Vex function: to find suitable timelines, for collective to grow.} {Overall goal: Be the only beings in existence, to Weave their way into the fabric of reality}.... {Thanks to recent setbacks goal will be delayed.}

Atheon turned around and started to walk around this island she found herself on, and as she did so she noticed many organic beings run around on the island. One of them was a massive crab, and as the blue-haired girl walks towards it. Said crab put up its claws up in a defensive fashion.

Atheon not realizing what it was trying to do stuck her hand out towards it. As she felt a sensation to see what this thing was. But the crab had other plants and tried to pinch her hand.

Which ended in a futile effort as the crab repeatedly tried to crush her hand but then it's mighty boned claws.

Atheon: strange.

She grabbed the claw that was trying to pinch her and hoist the crab up into the air. As it started to flail around in her grip, she then squeeze a little too hard, which resulted in her destroying the entire claw, and sending the crab careening down to the ground.

The crab quickly ran away from whatever this person or being was, and as the most powerful axis mind of the Vex watched it flee she felt nothing.

As she continued on her walk throughout this island, until she came to the very end of it and saw a Bright Crystal ocean surrounding her.

Atheon: unit has encountered a shallow turquoise.

And the more she looked at this ocean the more she felt like there was something drawing her out there. As if there was something that was trying to beckoning her to leave.

But Atheon had no regulation of what this was, all she new was that something was trying to get her to leave this island.

And with no over mind to guide her, and with no collective conscious she didn't know what to choose.

Should she follow this voice? Or should she just stay on this deserted island. After all what was her purpose now that her time is a Vex was gone and she's this.... Techno organic Being.

And being given the choice of free will, not having to take orders from a collective mindset. What should she do with this, but she knew she was meant to be given a mission, after all she is a vex in Vex follow their missions to the precise point.

Atheon: Unit unable to cross said turquoise, modifications will have to be made.

The legs of the axis mind started to change, multiple black lines ran through her leg as her legs suddenly started to reconstruct. And when it was done she started to slightly float off the ground.

Atheon: modifications completed, enabling hover function.

She then started to float slightly above the crystal clear water, and as she did so the fish is below her moved away as she looked out into the clear horizon.

Is she listen to that voice beckoning her as if telling her to make her own decision.

Then out of nowhere her body began to move on its own, as if it was trying to tell her. Tell her to get a move on, to get off of this abandoned Island.

So she decided to go along with it, and her Vex programming alerted her of something new.

{Mission updated: main mission: explore new world. Submission: find gateway/Create gateway to the Vex realm. Alternative mission: if other missions are unable to be met, creation of new Vex is an order.}

And so the axis mind did that she was told, and zoomed off into the distance. And as she did so whatever force was pulling her only got stronger. As if something inside of her was beckoning her to explore this new world, to see what marvels and wonders it had in store and how it could benefit the vex.

And with her new updated mission she would do exactly that.

But unknown to her others were watching, and they were not too happy at her arrival.

*In an unknown area*

Four being could be seen inside of her room talking to one another.

???1: I take it that everything went off without a hitch?

???2: Precisely, I was able to convince the two of them to accept our deal. Honestly humanity is such an easy collective to manipulate.

???1: very well what about you?

???3: everything worked out and things to overseer I was able to set up the next part of our plan.

???1: yes but something does concern me.

???2: leader is this about the mysterious energy that pulsed all throughout the world?

???1: it's not just that overseer, that energy has blocked me from seeing any possible future.

The other three individuals eyes widened, their leader couldn't see? How was that even possible!

???3: what could have caused this?

???1: see for yourself.

The one that was clearly the leader of the other theory all turn to a hologram showing a girl with luscious blue hair, an armored body that was way more advanced than theirs. And two Crystal like wings floating behind her.

???4: okay who is this?

???1: whatever she is purifier, she is not of this timeline or this realm. But she's not the only one, another being arrived to this world. But I was unable to see who it was, so here's my direct orders to you three if you are to encounter any of these beings. Get rid of them they are of your highest priority.

The other three nodded but they still couldn't wrap their heads around this, who were these two? And who is this girl? They had more questions than answers and it would seem that their mission was far from over.

There you have a ladies and gentlemen I hope you enjoyed this chapter I'm sorry it's a lot shorter than my other chapters but this chapter was meant to just serve as a little taste tester to the events with about to come.

Now to any of you who are saying that Atheon would do none of the things she's done in this, let me remind you that she's also half organic now. And she's basically a newborn, and the one thing all newborns have in common is that they want to explore.

They want to explore and they want to touch everything, probably not the last part but the explorer everything part that definitely stands. So her having this organic part of her and no mission to follow would it definitely compel her to explore.
