*2 days later*
Nina's POV
I've been training to get control of my staff but kept passing out. "I'm never gonna control it." I said as I got conscious again. "You will." The man said. "What even is your name?" I asked for the 10000th time and he laughed. "Not important. Now get up and try again." He said, I sighed and got up. "Why do I even keep passing out?" I asked and he smiled. "The weapon makes your powers getting more powerful. You're training now to get to the transformation." He said and I looked confused. "Transformation?" I asked and he nodded. "You'll see." He said as he gave me new targets to hit. I focused and tried to hit them all. Before I could hit the last one I felt like passing out again. "Got. to. hit. it." I grunted as I focused and hit the last target. All of a sudden I started floating and I gasped as I felt the energy go through my body. I closed my eyes as I started to spin around like a tornado and my whole body started glowing. All of a sudden my eyes snapped open and I felt all my energy mix together with the staff. The energy of the staff went in me and some of my energy into the staff. A burst of energy came into the ball of the wand and it started glowing gold as my wings extracted and then turned to golden dust. I slowly landed on my feet. "Now try to make it disappear and reappear in your hand." He said and I focused. I failed a couple of times until I thought of Steve. The staff disappeared, I gasped and focused again as I made the staff reappear "You're ready." He said and applauded. "Wait, where did my wings go?" I asked and he smiled. "You can float now. You're ready."Does this mean I can go home?" I asked and he nodded. "Just in time, the Avengers are on a mission and could use your help to kick the enemy's asses." He said and I looked confused. "They got a new mission while they are in grief? That is kind of cruel." I said and he laughed. "I control much... but not the way the humans think, feel and behave." He said and I chuckled. "Yeah our kind is kind of stubborn." I said and he nodded. "I have one more question... how did I get my powers back?" I asked and he sighed. "I knew it would come. See them taking away your powers was NEVER supposed to happen, this is exactly one of the the thing that I mean with what I can't control. So my allies and I decided to see, if the right choice was made when you were a baby, were you really that pure? So we decided to see what you would do without them. As soon as it was proven you were definitely worth them we gave them back to you." He said as he opened a breach and I took a deep breath. "Good luck Nina, Goddess of Magic." He said and I smiled "Thank you." I said before stepping through and my earpiece immediately connected to the others. "Okay guys, Nina introduced this new battle song, let's honor her by keep using it." I heard Steve say and I tried not to make a sound as I was floating high above them. Steve started singing.

I joined in as I slowly floated down and landed in front of them. They all gasped as Steve and I kept singing. When we were done I ran into his arms and we both started crying. "You're alive." He said softly when we pulled away and I nodded. "Yeah you can't get rid of me that easily Captain." I said and winked at him. Everybody ran over to me and hugged me tightly. "I missed you guys." I said as I wiped away my tears. "Where have you been?" Tony asked and I chuckled. "I'll explain later but trust me when I tell you you won't believe me." I said and he nodded. "Where did you get that?" Peter asked as he pointed at my staff. "It belongs with the story." I said and they all chuckled. "So who's ass are we beating?" I asked. "Hydra." They all said and I sighed. "They never heard of quitting?" I asked as we started walk towards them. "I'll attack them from above." I said as I slowly floated up. As I flew forward I saw them in the distance. "Oh you're dead now." I said as I went faster. "Nina don't anything stupid." Tony said and I laughed. "When did I ever do that?" I asked and immediately regretted asking it. "REALLY?!" They all yelled. "Okay okay, that gauntlet may not have been my best moment but everything is okay now." I said and all I could hear was everybody grunting and mumbling. "We'll kill the Avengers." A Hydra soldier thought to himself mockingly. "Heads up, the guy in the front is a but thirsty for blood and death." I said and I smiled. "How do you know?" Peter asked and I frowned in confusion. "Oh right, I got my powers back at the wedding." I said and heard a gasp. "Uh... guys. Those guys are big!" Peter said and I looked down. "Here." I said as I blasted all Hydra soldiers in the front. "Have fun." I said as I flew all the way to the back. I dropped down and clicked my tongue. "Oh boys you never learn." I said and the soldiers turned around. "What? You look like you've seen a ghost." I said and laughed as they looked at each other. "Nina enough small talk." Tony said and I sighed. "No fun, okay boys, my dad said I'm not allowed to play outside so let's get to business." I said before blasting them all into the air and as they fell down I threw them against the trees. "Booooring." I said as a big guy ran over to me. "Boring? I'll kill you Stark." The guy said and I laughed. "Dad someone's looking for you." I said and he looked confused at me. "No I'm talking about you." The guy said and I laughed even harder. "Oooooh yeah makes sense, except that I'm a Rogers now." I walked over, grabbed his hand and shook it. "Hi nice to meet you my name is Nina Rogers." I said before I hit him with the bottom of my staff. "Remember that name." I said as I knocked him out. I climbed on the truck and opened up the back. "Oh, hello Michael, missed me?" I asked as I grabbed him by his collar. I made handcuffs with my magic as I dragged him out. "I got the leader." I said as I looked around me. "Okay let's go." Tony said and I smiled at Michael. "Het ready to get sick." I said as I flew back with him to the compound, I walked in and threw him in a cell. "Please be patient, they will come to you as soon as they have time." I said and smiled before walking to the living room and waited for the others to come back.
