(Y/n)'sPOV

I really didn't know what to say to him, I mean it's not really his fault in the first place, I was the one who ran away and ignored him.

"Hey Itachi I-"

He gently pushed me away and walked to his room.

 I stood there in shock.. did I do something wrong?  

I get that running away wasn't the best option but, dang he was being cold. 

I looked down in shame.

..if only I had given him the chance to reply then maybe things wouldn't have turned out this way. 

He probably had too much work to do and I only stressed him out even more. 

I know what I should do now! 

Tomorrow morning I'm going to apologize to him! 

But for now... I need my beauty sleep. I'm exhausting 

-the next morning-

I woke up,  got dressed quick, and rushed to the kitchen.

If luck was on my side, then Itachi would still be there eating breakfast before he went to work.

It seemed like luck wasn't on my side because as soon as I got there, Itachi was gone. 

"oh well" I sighed looking around for something interesting to do.

while I was searching I noticed sasuke quietly sneaking out of the kitchen, probably trying to avoid his mom being as he had stolen a few tomatoes and was trying not to get caught.

I waited until he got to his room and quietly knocked

"c-come in" he stuttered

I walked in and he let out a sigh of relief

"I thought you were my mom"

"you little (1)rasukaru! I saw you sneaking out of the kitchen with those tomatoes!"

"fine fine I did! please (y/n) don't tell mother about this!"

"I won't if you start calling me Amai imoto"

"sweet sister? why?"

I chucked "I've always wanted a Ototo"

"if that's what it takes then sure I guess...you're weird" he shrugged

"I like to think of myself as special sasuke. But  you are one funny kid, see you later"

I lightly pecked his cheek before leaving, not missing the blush that came across his face as I was leaving.

'aww he's such a cute kid, I think im really gonna like having a younger brother'

-timeskip to when itachi gets back-

As itachi walked through the door I could barely contain my excitement but I waited for him to go to his room before I talked to him

As soon as I went in his room I heard a soft "Hi (y/n)"

"haha you got me, but um itachi can we talk?"

"Of course, I have a few things on my schedule so I'll have to head back out in a moment so could we make it quick."

"o-oh of course! I just (wait I forgot my whole damn story line why is she apologizing what happened again-) wanted to say I'm sorry for what happened, I overreacted and let my emotions get the better of me, I'm sorry for causing you trouble"

he looked at me in confusion before responding "(Y/n), I didn't reply when you wanted to hang out because you left me speechless, it's not every day somebody asks a anbu member to be friends, I pushed you away because I was tired, so tired I thought you were somebody else, you I would love to be your friend and go out when I'm free, for now I have to continue helping Konoha"

I looked down slightly flustered at my stupidity, itachi is amazing and so kind, why did I think he would do those things on purpose- STUPID STUPID

"Well I'm glad we cleared things up Itach- WAIT"

he once again looked at me in confusion

"what?"

why does he look so cute when he furrles (wth is that a word idk what word to put) his eyebrows like that, well he always looks cute but STILL

"Can I call you Ita? or Ita-chan?"

he smiled (a very SMALL smile but a smile indeed) "of course, whichever one you prefer"

"Ok Ita-chan. I'm so glad we're friends now I should get out of hair now haha"

now it was his turn to yell wait

"hm? wha-"

before I could finish my sentence he poked me in the forehead

"Bye (Nickname)-chan"

OH

I caught feelings
