They exited the car, and walked into the arena while holding hands. Then they spotted Finn, Seth, Bayley and Sasha at the catering area.

They gave each other a bro hug

Alex and Lexi gave confused looks

Finn: I guess your nurse healed up your wounds, huh?

Alex: so anything going on for the US Title?

Seth: your mentor is holding an open challenge

Alex: perfect, time to surprise the old man

Bayley: Randy is not that old...

Then he heard a knock on the door

Lexi opened the door and she was blushing at the sight before her

Lexi: you look like a superhero in that

Alex: a superhero healed up because of his sweet loving nurse

Lexi blushed and she playfully pushed Alex

Lexi: enough of that, you're up in a few

He gave her one last kiss before leaving to the gorilla.

(In the ring)

Randy was in the ring announcing his challenge.

Randy: now I know my good friend John Cena does these open challenges for his title, but I want to bring it back along with the opportunity for anyone back there, so I'm here and the title is here.

After a minute of silence, Awake and Alive by Skillet played and the crowd went ballistic

Graves: there is no way he's here...

Then Alex came through the curtains, and he took in the cheering crowd

Crowd: welcome back! Welcome back!

Announcer: and his opponent, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 216 pounds, making his return, Alex Auditore!

Phillips: Alex Auditore returns to action for the first time after being sidelined with a knee injury that caused 4 to 6 months of his career

Graves: and he's answering the US title open challenge made by that man in the ring, the same man who trained Auditore, Randy Orton.

(Fast forward towards the end of the match)

Announcer: here is your winner and new United States Champion, Alex Auditore!

Alex has won back the title he lost due to the injury, and he couldn't be more happy. Then Randy got back on his feet, and stared at his protege. To Alex's surprise, Randy held out his hand, and Alex happily accepted by shaking it, and then the mentor and protege shared a hug.

Randy: you deserved it, Alex.

Alex: thank you, mentor

Then the two walked backstage

Randy: why didn't you tell me, you're coming back

Alex: I want to keep it a surprise

Randy: well that was one hell of a surprise

Alex: I learned it from you

Randy: alright. I got to go and wash up, so I'll see you soon

Alex: see you soon, mentor

They both went their separate ways. As Alex was walking towards his locker room, he felt something or someone jumped on his back.

Alex: who is this?!

Lexi: it's me, baby!

Alex: you almost gave me a heart attack

Lexi jumped down from Alex's back and hugged him tight

Lexi: I'm so proud of you, baby

Alex: I told you this win is for us

Lexi smiled and kissed Alex

Lexi: come on, let's go back and celebrate

Alex: what are you planning?

Lexi: remember the challenge I proposed to you when you were injured?

Alex: what challenge?

Lexi: when you're healed up, I wanted another match on WWE 2K19

Alex: oh right, and you said you wanted a women's match

Lexi: yeah, let's go, so I can beat you

Alex: you won't be ready for my character

(3 hours later at the hotel)

Alex set up his PS4 and loaded up the game, and a few seconds after, the main menu was on the screen

Alex: since I won the last time, I pick the stipulation

Lexi: alright, what do you pick

Alex: hmm... I got it... Hell in a Cell

Lexi: alright, One Knee choose your character

Alex: hold on, before I pick close your eyes

Lexi: why?

Alex: I want you to be surprised

Lexi: fine, but make it quick

Lexi closed her eyes, and Alex scrolled through the list. Then he made his pick

Alex: alright, you can look now

Lexi opened her eyes, and instantly she blushed on Alex's chosen character

Lexi: you're playing as me?

Alex: yeah, of course. You should know, when I play women's matches, I always play as you

He said with a wink which caused Lexi's cheeks turn to a darker shade of red

Alex: come on, pick a character

Lexi scrolled thorugh the list and she made her descision by picking...

Lexi: I'll be playing as... Peyton Royce

Alex: making this match IIconic, I see?

Lexi: your defeat will be IIconic

Alex: bring it on, baby

After 10 minutes of playing with both of their characters at low health, Alex soon hammered the final nail

Alex: snap DDT!

Lexi: waaaiiittt!

Alex: Alexa Bliss on the top turnbuckle. Oh an IIconic Twisted Bliss!

Lexi had a cute pout on her face, but it turned to a smile as she felt Alex's lips on her cheek

Lexi: let's go to bed, champ

Alex turned off the console and he and Lexi changed into their night clothes. Then they cuddled up on the bed.

Lexi: what do you want to do tomorrow?

Alex: I was thinking of inviting our friends and my mentor to celebrate my win

Lexi: that's a great idea, baby

Alex: let's sleep now
