Tonight was SmackDown and after checking the doctors for his arm, Alex was medically cleared to compete. This good news brought happiness to Lexi.

Lexi: my baby is cleared to compete

Alex: I know, I can't be more happy

Lexi: who will you be facing?

Alex: my return match will be an open challenge by Curt Hawkins

Lexi: that guy never wins

Alex: I will be his 203rd loss

Lexi: I can't wait

Alex: how about you baby?

Lexi: I'm going against Peyton Royce with my title on the line

Alex: it seems she pulled off an IIconic upset

Lexi: but she will fall to the Goddess

Production: Alex, we need you

Alex: I gotta go babe

Lexi: okay baby

They gave each other a kiss before Alex left for the gorilla.

(2 minutes later)

Alex just won his match against Hawkins in under a minute with an immediate AKO Outta Nowhere. He walked backstage and Lexi was waiting for him.

Alex: number 203

Lexi: he didn't had a chance and you didn't break a sweat

Alex: that means I can do this...

He grabbed her face and gave her a passionate kiss. Then they pulled back

Lexi: I love you

Alex: I love you too

Production: Lexi, you're up

Lexi: well time to defend my crown

Alex: I'll be cheering you on, baby

Lexi: aww

Alex: I'll be with Seth, AJ, Randy and Finn at catering

Lexi: okay

Lexi left as her music started to play and Alex went to the catering and sat with AJ, Randy and Finn.

(At catering)

Alex: hey where's Seth?

AJ: where else?

AJ pointed at a table next to them and saw Seth making out with Sasha. Alex shook his head.

Alex: I ship them

Randy: so Alex, you'll be cheering for your girlfriend?

Alex: of course, mentor. She's my happiness

Randy: I'm glad you took my advice

Finn: Joy almost broke you

Alex: let's not mention her name after the crazy birthday incident

AJ: if it was my birthday, that will be unforgettable. Don't tell Wendy I said that

Randy: your secret is safe with us

Then Bayley walked in and sat with Finn

Finn: hey babe

Bayley: hey babe

They give each other a kiss before being interrupted by AJ

AJ: get a room you two!

Randy: Alex, looks like your girlfriend is ending it

They turned to the TV and saw Lexi hitting the Twisted Bliss on Peyton. The referee counted the pinfall and Lexi retained her title.

Alex: that's my girl. If you guys excuse me, I'm gonna go

Finn: go to her, lad

Alex left the catering area.

Lexi's POV

I was happy to retain my title and I couldn't wait to celebrate with my Prince. I walked backstage only to be stopped by someone I swore to never see again in my life.

Lexi: Murphy?

Murphy: hey babe, great job retaining

Lexi: don't call me babe, we're over!

Murphy: you left me for that broken man? What did he have that I don't?

Lexi: well Alex is caring, sweet and kind. Unlike you, you were too demanding and possessive

Murphy: if you let me apologize-

Lexi: save it Murphy, you're 3 years too late. I'm happy with Alex so don't try to get in between us

As I tried to walk away, Murphy grabbed my face and kissed me forcefully. I immediately pulled back, but then I heard a voice.

Alex: Lexi?

Narrator's POV

Lexi turned around and saw an angry and hurt Alex. She had a regretful look on her face.

Lexi: Alex baby, it's not what it looks like

Alex: not what it looks like? It looks like my girlfriend is kissing another man. Who the hell are you?

Murphy: I'm her boyfriend, mate

Alex: you had a boyfriend, and you didn't tell me?

Lexi: no Alex, Murphy is my ex-boyfriend. We broke up years ago

Murphy: well you were enjoying the kiss we had

Lexi: SHUT UP, MURPHY!

Randy, AJ, Seth, Finn, Sasha and Bayley heard the commotion.

Alex: you betrayed me, Lexi. I thought you'll be the one to fix me

Lexi: Alex please listen-

Alex: save it, I don't want to hear it

Alex turned and walked away, leaving Lexi with tears falling from her face. Randy and AJ tried to talk to Alex.

Randy: what happened?

Alex: she betrayed me, mentor. I don't want to be here anymore

AJ: you're quitting?

Alex: no, just tell Shane I don't feel well

Finn: lad, if you and Lexi can sort this out-

Alex: Finn, there is nothing to sort out anymore! I saw what I saw! And what I saw is a heartbreaking betrayal! I thought Lexi will be the one to fix my broken heart, to help me move on from the pain in my past. But after what I saw, she's making me experience that same pain again.

As Alex put his bag in the Camaro, Finn got a text message from Bayley.

Finn: Bayley said her and Sasha are talking with Lexi, and they want you to be there

Alex: no, tell Bayley I need some time to be alone. I'll be at a bar if you need me

Alex got into his Camaro and drove away. Randy and the others went to Lexi's locker room.

Lexi: where is Alex?

Randy: he left and he said you betrayed him

Lexi: I didn't betray him, Murphy forced himself. Did Alex tell you guys where he's going?

AJ: he told us he'll be at a bar

Randy: I'm shocked because Alex never drinks alcohol

Sasha: did he tell you guys which bar?

Finn: unfortunately not, but if we find the blue Camaro then he's there

(At the bar)

Alex had 4 glasses of brandy being served by his bartender friend Jon.

Jon: sorry to hear about Lexi, man

Alex: who cares? I'm fine now

He said in a drunken voice.

Alex: Jon, give me one more glass

Jon: alright, but you'll be wasted after

Jon gave Alex one more glass and the Prince drank it.

Alex: thanks man

Jon: are you sure you can drive?

Alex: it's my car, so I'm driving it

Alex walked his way to his Camaro and slowly sped off. An hour later, Randy, Lexi and the others reached the bar and they went inside.

Randy: hey, did a guy named Alex Auditore stopped by here?

Jon: yeah, you guys just missed him, he just left a minute ago

Lexi: was he drunk?

Jon: yeah, looks like it and he's driving too

Randy: thank you

Randy and Lexi went back to the van.

Seth: where is he?

Randy: he left, and worse he's drunk and driving

Sasha: he's gonna kill himself

Lexi: don't say that!

The group looked everywhere for Alex and his Camaro for almost 2 hours, but didn't find any trace of him.

Lexi: maybe he went back to the hotel room

Bayley: let's try there

Seth drove the van to the hotel and the group ran up to Alex and Lexi's hotel room. Lexi opened it, but didn't find Alex there.

Lexi: oh where can my baby be?

AJ: don't worry Lexi, we'll find him

Lexi and AJ went back to the van.

Sasha: he's not there?

Lexi: no

Randy: let's keep looking!

Bayley: Randy, I never seen you so worried

Randy: Alex is like a son to me. If anything happens to him, I don't know if I can forgive myself.

Lexi: me too

Seth: come on, let's keep looking!

They continued to drive around for another hour until they saw a police car and an ambulance.

Finn: what's going on?

Seth: let's find out.

The group got out of the van and walked to the scene.

Randy: officer, what happened?

Officer: a driver of this car crashed into a telephone pole

Seth: do you know what kind of car is it?

Officer: well according to our reports, it's a 2017 Camaro ZL1

Randy turned to Seth

Randy: Alex owns a ZL1

Lexi: well you know what color was it?

Officer: it's a dark shade of blue

Hearing the color of the car made everyone worried

Randy: where is the driver?

Officer: paramedics are pulling him out now. Oh there they are

Paramedics were rolling a gurney with a bruised body. Lexi stopped them.

Lexi: wait please

The paramedics stopped and Lexi looked and recognize the body. She instantly teared up as the bruised body was Alex.

Lexi: Alex?! No!

Paramedic: do you know him?

Lexi: he's my boyfriend. Can I ride with him?

Paramedic: sure, hop in

Then Lexi turned to Randy and the others.

Lexi: meet us at the hospital

Everyone nodded and they cramped in the van to follow the ambulance.

Lexi: please baby, don't leave me

She said tearfully as she held Alex's bruised hand.
