Lexi woke up the next morning while she was still holding Alex's hand. She was still shaken of the incident that nearly killed her Prince. She couldn't get the images out of her head from the wrecked Dodge Challenger to her last kiss with Alex before the accident. She looked down at Alex with tearful eyes while holding his free hand.

Lexi: please wake up, baby

Then Finn, Seth, Bayley and Sasha walked in

Sasha: hey Lexi, how is he?

Lexi: he's not responding...yet

Finn: he'll pull through, all of us were praying last night

Lexi: I prayed as well

Then Lexi felt a grip from her lover's free hand

Lexi: Alex?

The grip tightened more as tears fell from Lexi's eyes

Finn: lad?

Seth: I'll go get Dr. Jesse

Seth rushed out of the room to get the doctor. Then slowly, Alex opened his eyes

Lexi: Alex! Baby, you're awake!

Then Dr. Jesse rushed in

Dr. Jesse: what happened?

Bayley: he just opened his eyes all of a sudden

Dr. Jesse: Alex, if you're awake, follow the light

Dr. Jesse shined a flashlight over Alex's eyes and moved it around for him to follow, but Alex's eyes just stayed in one spot.

Lexi: doctor, what's happening?

Dr. Jesse: he's not responding to the light. Let me try something else, Alex, if you can hear me or anyone else in this room, blink.

Alex didn't respond, and this made Lexi scared a bit

Lexi: what's wrong with him?

Dr. Jesse: he's not responding to me

Lexi: here, let me try. Alex, it's me Lexi, your girlfriend and there's Finn, Seth, Sasha and Bayley your best friends.

Once again, Alex didn't respond. Then things went from bad to worse as Alex's eyes slowly closed.

Lexi: Alex? Alex?!

Seth: doc, what's happening to our friend?

Dr. Jesse: it seems the head trauma caused by the car crash has Alex collapsed into a coma

Hearing this made everyone disappointed and upset especially Lexi

Sasha: is there a chance he'll wake up again?

Dr. Jesse: that depends on how much trauma Alex suffered. Wait here, I'll be back with the trauma reports

Dr. Jesse left the room

Finn: this is just bad, he just won his title back and now this

Lexi: Finn, none of us knew this will happen to him

Sasha: I'll call Shane and Hunter to let them know what happened

Sasha stepped out of the room to make the call

Lexi: I promised that I'll fix him, and now this I don't think I can...

Finn: lass, you did fixed him

Seth: you fixed his broken heart after he broke up with his ex. You were by his side when he was injured, and Alex knows that he has a caring and sweet girlfriend.

Lexi: and he has awesome best friends

They came in for a group hug and then Dr. Jesse came back with the reports

Dr. Jesse: I've got the reports with me

Lexi: so how long will Alex be in his coma?

Dr. Jesse: Alex suffered some minor head trauma and his skull is still intact, so he'll be in coma for at least 3 weeks with the max at 1 month.

Finn: that's okay, now we know our friend will wake up again

Dr. Jesse: just a fair warning for all of you. If Alex wakes up don't overwhelm him, let him examine his surroundings

Seth: will do, doc

Dr. Jesse: alright, I'll leave you to him

Lexi: you hear that, baby? You'll wake up soon

Then Sasha came back

Bayley: so what did Shane and Hunter say?

Sasha: they said we can take as much time off as we need, so we can be with Alex until he wakes up

Lexi: you hear that, my Prince? We will be with you until you wake up

(1 month later)

The group were relaxing in Alex's room hoping that their best friend wakes up. Lexi was scrolling through her phone until she heard a faint groan from Alex.

Lexi: Alex?

Finn: what's wrong?

Lexi: nothing, I just heard a groan

Then Alex gave another groan, but this time it was a bit louder. Then things started to look up as the Pinoy Prince slowly moved his free hand and his head. This made everyone ecstatic.

Seth: come on dude, wake up

Bayley: I'll go get Dr. Jesse

Lexi was looking at Alex with a suspenseful worried look on her face, but it turned into a happy grin as she saw her lover opened his eyes.

Lexi: Alex?

Then Dr. Jesse rushed in

Dr. Jesse: he's awake?

Sasha: he's moving too

Dr. Jesse: okay, Alex follow the light

Alex's eyes followed the light from left to right which cause some excitement from the group

Dr. Jesse: he's responding, that's good

Then miraculously Alex finally spoke

Alex: Lexi...

Lexi: yes baby?

Alex: you're still my Princess Shorty

Lexi blushed heavily, but she was overwhelmed with happiness as her Prince is finally awake.

Dr. Jesse: alright, Alex I can remove this IV tube from your mouth now, but you still need to stay, so you can recover from your other injuries

Alex: I understand, but I'll be okay

Dr. Jesse: alright, if you excuse me I have a meeting to attend to

Dr. Jesse left the room

Finn: I think it's best we leave these two alone don't you think?

Bayley, Sasha and Seth agreed

Sasha: we'll leave you two lovebirds alone

The group left the room leaving Alex and Lexi to themselves

Lexi: you know, I was scared

Alex: scared of what, baby?

Lexi: that you were gonna leave me

Alex: I've been though the worst, remember? My career threatening knee injury

Lexi: yeah, but this is a car crash

Alex: baby, no matter if it's a knee injury or a car crash, you should know I always keep fighting

He said as he cupped Lexi's cheek with his free hand

Lexi: well now that tube is out of your mouth, you know what that means...

She said with a flirtatious voice while biting her lower lip

Alex: oh I know what that means, come here

Lexi leaned in and passionately kissed Alex on the lips. She pulled back while she blushed

Alex: I may be hurt physically, but I think the pain is gone

Lexi: my kisses are your medicine

Alex: just don't give me an overdose

Lexi: I hate you

She said with her cute, grumpy face

Alex: I love you too
