Chapter 1.1

"Even the particle that was supposed to explain the beginning and mechanism of the universe was named The God Particle (it's Higgs Boson). But who exactly is God? "

-----

The city of Naṭcattira was located in a group of hidden islands called Viṇveḷi in the Arctic Ocean. The cloud disturbance above it prevented the satellites to track it but the weather below was calm, making it a very strategic location where people can send and receive signals from the ground but they can't be detected from space. The islands were distributed in the shape of a star in the water and were connected to each other by underwater tunnels.

It was a safe haven from outer space's prying eyes. It was something exclusively Earth's, something she didn't want to share with others.

Viṇveḷi meant space in the ancient language of 'Tamil'. It was the oldest language to ever make an appearance in writing. So when the islands were discovered, due to their importance, grandeur and formation, they were named Viṇveḷi islands. And the biggest island was called Naṭcattira, meaning 'Star' in Tamil. They were named after one of the first and most important creations of the creator, the stars. Stars illuminate the silent sea of space. They guide the lost and feed the hungry. The existence of God was still mystified but humans knew that stars were their guardian angels that God or science happened to create for them.

Someone was looking out for them, be it science or the instincts of survival.

Now how the Viṇveḷi islands were discovered?

The same answer that led to all of the human development and doom.

Human greed for knowledge and power.

Around 1991, when the cold war had ended, America and Russia decided to do something with their technological advancement. So much was discovered or invented that could change the course of the human race forever. So, the UNO stepped in between and asked the highly experienced and talented scientists to pursue their search for extraterrestrial life by staying on neutral ground. They had surely decided to stop manufacturing nuclear weapons but the race to space was inevitable. It was our calling. Humans defied the theory of endless oceans by venturing out in their boats. Their curiosity drove them to the pits of the unknown and that was what kept them alive. Space was calling Earth's children who couldn't resist the charms of its promises. Humans wanted to leave their homes and venture out.

And the trick of nature was... they had to if they wanted to survive.

And they decided to accept their calling.

The scientists were sent to The Viṇveḷi islands where they built their living out of scratch. There was no money system there. They cultivated food on their own, along with clothing and technical gadgets. And if they fall short on something, they simply had to ask UNO for it but they tried their best to survive on what mother nature gifted them. In this way, they were completely cut from the vile human race of satisfying their greed. They only had one goal- to find aliens and planets where life could survive. But as they kept venturing deeper into the magic of Physics, they found more of what they couldn't understand than something they did.

They knew it was a new beginning, a beginning of an era that could pivot the universe's relationship with Earth's children and they were ready to make it as perfect as possible.

The existence of Viṇveḷi islands was kept secret and everything was going smoothly for the white coats. Knowledge was worshipped and the utopia couldn't be far when the universe decided it was time to throw them a new riddle, one that didn't have any defined end.

30 years later...

Dr Mehra was sipping on his coffee that Thursday night while staring at the algorithms on his computer. He took a sip and placed the paper cup on his desk.

"Everything is boring as usual. No signals from space, just our drones hovering the sky." He spoke reading the observations sent to him by the drones. He pushed his chair back and got up. "So boring... "

He left the control room and started walking in the white corridors. Do you know why white is used in labs and hospitals? Because they are the best reflectors of light. But right now, Dr Mehra was getting frustrated by the intensity of light falling on his eyes.

He hated them. But still, he loved his night shifts. No human interaction, just machines to play with.

He entered the men's restroom. Yes, there were women on Viṇveḷi islands and some scientists even had families. Who said scientists had to be celibates?

"Oh God, protect everyone's soul..." He started saying his prayer. He was a Hindu man and the fear of God was instilled in him since childhood. So whenever he got time, he started chanting the name of God.

This day was no different, but he made a joke at the end.

"Hey Bhagwaan (Oh God!), if you want to protect my soul, please send something extraordinary to this mundane planet. " He wished and exited the restroom.

Back when Dr Mehra was chanting his prayers in the restroom, something unexpected shined in the night sky.

Usually, the behaviour of the night sky was predicted beforehand, so the chances of something extraordinary happening there were slim. But nature never failed to surprise.

In the short amount of time, when Dr Mehra used the restroom, something entered our visible range of the universe and penetrated straight into the Earth's atmosphere. It defied the belief that nothing can travel faster than light because to cover such a huge distance of around billion of light-years in some mere earth minutes was something the humans had not even begun imagining.

We can't move in space without moving in time. So how did it happen?

Space-Time curve distortion. It was the only thing that could serve as an excuse for educated atheists.

It entered the Earth's atmosphere silently and unlike other meteorites, it didn't light up or burn in the sky. Instead, it absorbed all the light falling on it and the flames from its own burning state. And the sky appeared to be as dark as ever. Not even radio waves, gamma rays or even INFRARED RAYS could detect it entering the earth.

And as luck would have it, it fell on the Viṇveḷi islands.

Was it a coincidence that it fell right when Dr Mehra wished for it? Or is it a message sent from extraterrestrial beings?

Any thoughts on the speed of that body? I don't even wanna use a calculator right now. It would be so huge! It has to be a space-time curve distortion, isn't it?
