On the tenth of July, in the year of 2002, begins the story of a God named Loki Laufeyson returning from a battle in his realm, Asgard, after losing his friend and Commander, Alexander. For his bravery in carrying out his Commander's final wishes, Loki is named the new Commander of Asgard, much to the jealousy of his friend and co-worker Josh Shady and Ben Spence. Once receiving the news, Loki rushed to find his lover, fiancee, and best friend: Maddie McWilliams. With the wonderful news about Loki becoming Commander, the two could finally prepare to join in the Bonds of Holy Matrimony and marry...

  Jealous of Loki's promotion and fiancee, Josh and Ben do a little spying to see if they can find any dirt on their "friend". They soon find out  that while on his mission, Loki was given a letter from Vahl. This letter contained plans for a great treason. Once they learn of this, they went and found Director Mark Fischbach, and after telling him of the letter of treason, the three began to plot against the unsuspecting God. However, Mark still felt wrong  in what he was planning , as he still didn't know if this Loki Laufeyson was truly guilty or innocent...   Josh: We are friends, are we not?

All: Here ends the story!                                                                                                                                                           During his betrothal party, Loki is arrested and brought to Director Mark Fischbach, who questions him about the letter. His questions lead him to learn that Loki cannot read, cares nothing for politics, and was swore to that the contents of the letter were indeed innocent. He starts to release Loki, before forgetting a vital question: Who was it supposed to be for? Once asking , he learned the letter was for his father, Sean Fischbach. Not wanting to lose his job and ruin his reputation , as well as his family's, he ordered Loki to be cast onto the evil White Field. However, neither Maddie McWilliams nor Loki Laufeyson lost hope, and prayed that the latter would soon be released....                                                                                                        [Loki] In the light that falls at moonrise

I will be there.                                                                                                                                                     As time flew by, Loki felt his hope slowly fall away, Maddie continued to pray that she would soon see her lover again, and Josh  grew more annoyed  that he  still couldn't get Maddie to agree to marry him instead.  Finally tired of it, Josh decided to end Maddie's hope of seeing Loki ever again....                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

Loki: Another day, another week, another month, another year, another day, another night until its day again.  The sun has fled, I go to bed and scratch a line in the dirt. Another day, where nothing changes at all and everyday shuffles by like the day before on it's way to the blackest of skies and everyday a little death comes and paces the field and a little bit more of me dies. Another day, another week, another month, another year, another night I spend alone until it's day again. Our little star has flown away and all the world is a blur. I only see I am not me... without her. Everyday a little death for everyday I die. Everyday a little death a still I know not why.  

Maddie: He will come back.

Josh: Perhaps but still...

Maddie: He will return to me. Another prayer.

Josh: You've got to live for today!

Maddie: I will live when we're together again.  Everyday I will pray until then, amen and everyday another prayer will bring Loki close to me and every night our little star we will share then one day when I open my eyes he will be standing right over there, one day. 

Loki: Another day. 

Josh: There's something I must say. I wanted to protect you.

Loki: Another year.

Josh: I wish there was a way I could make it untrue.

Loki: Another day.

Josh: I heard the news today. I fear the worst has happened.

Loki: Another year.

Josh: An accident has occurred. Loki Laufeyson is dead.

Loki: Another year.

Josh: Dead and gone. Rest In Peace may flights of angels sing him to his rest. Let me hold and help to heal you.

Loki: Everyday a little death.

Maddie: Everyday a little death.

Broken hearted, and seeing no other option, Maddie surrendered to marrying Josh Shady. Becoming Maddie Shady, and having a son named Rumplestilskin, Maddie begins to feel that her world is gone and that she is doomed to forever be sad and alone...                                                                   

Maddie: How far have I fallen? How long 'til it's over? Days all shuffle past my door much like the day before. Gone now, my tomorrow. So fast, my tomorrow's gone. The world I left behind, lives only in my mind. The golden sun was  warmer then and night would fall much softer. My heart and I remember when the road would rise to bluer skies. Above the moon a star would shine. To homeward guide Loki to me with kisses sweet as summer sun. Back when the world was mine. Nights of shimmering sensations. Days of easy, carefree smiles. Dreams and quiet conversations. I close my eyes and see for miles. The world was so much younger then and burned with hearts on fire. These memories return again like gathered embers. So love remembers. Back when the world was mine!

Meanwhile, in the area of White Field, Loki had met a man named Thor Odinson, who agreed to educate him in both the fighting arts and schooling in exchange for helping him escape. Unfortunately, an accident happens, fatally wounding Thor, who, in his dying moments, leaves Loki with a final piece of wisdom....

Thor:

You must go on for the world waits before you.

Soon, Loki escapes, and finds a young man, who would soon prove to be his best friend, Mirrak. The two find the Treasure of Frost Giants together, and use it to gain a nice home. One evening, Mirrak returns to their home to tell Loki what he has learned about his enemies. He learns that Mark Fischbach is the head of the authorities, Ben Spence has taken over the command that held the realm he used to fight for, and Josh Shady has married his ex-fiancee, Maddie Shady (McWilliams), and has had a child, much to his anger. Loki vows to take revenge on all those who had wronged him and sent him to the heck-hole of White Field...even Maddie Shady (McWilliams)...                                                                                                                                                             Loki: The world is a place

Then, amen!                                                                                                                                                                To begin her plans, Loki stages a kidnapping of Maddie's son, Rumple, and "saves his life". Afterwards, the two have a chat about who they are and their personal accomplishments. the two even began to speak of their love lives, and how wonderful having a partner can be...                   [Loki]:

Ah, women...                                                                                                                                                                 After earning the young man's trust, Loki finds himself invited to the man's 16th birthday, and uses the opportunity to gain more information about those he is seeking revenge for. During the party however, Maddie Shady (McWilliams), somehow, against all odds, recognizes the man, despite the new blue skin and colder gaze...                                                                                            [Maddie]

His pretty lie.                                                                                                                                                                     Meanwhile, Maddie has been thinking about her meeting with the "God of Frost Giants," and is positive that he is her long-lost Loki Laufeyson. Though she isn't sure how to get Loki to admit that to himself. She confronts the God about it, who says he knows nothing about this Loki, but Maddie sees through him. Maddie tries telling the God to leave his vengeance behind and just live his life, but she only gets the reply that his hate is all he has left, and to leave him be. Devastated, but not deterred, Maddie leaves to try and think of a new plan to save her Loki from his enemies, and himself....                                                                                                                          [Maddie]

Give me what's been mine for all this time!                                                                                                               Loki continues to try to carry out his vengeance, only to be stopped in pre-battle with Josh by Rumple. Loki advanced to attack him too when Maddie rushed up and stopped them, explaining that Rumple was actually the son of Loki, and the true reason she married Josh. Suddenly, Loki understood everything, as did Josh, who was furious. Loki tried to give Josh the chance to stop the madness and learn forgiveness, but he did not listen, which led to his downfall. Maddie and Loki soon took each other back, marrying quickly, and with Rumple, making their true family complete again, and soon, the family expanding once Rumple married his girlfriend, Belle and while things seemed to be perfect once again, as they were sixteen years ago, a few things still weighed on God Loki Laufeyson's mind...                                                             [Loki]
