"Hehehehehehe...they got what they deserved."

Reaper said, as he went forwards and walked around for a little bit. He has a twisted smile on his face, as he walked around the area that he is in. It has been an hour since his battle with Team RWBY, and needless to say, it is one heck of an embarrassment for the four of them. Now they will see that he is not someone that they can easily defeat, and is a very, very real threat.

Reaper puts back on his necklace, and he returns to his mortal form again. He walks calmly and without interruptions, as he goes forward. He cares very little of what is happening to Team RWBY, and is very glad that Team RWBY paid for what they have done. Now they get to suffer badly, with the worst one being Yang, who had her arm destroyed by him, thanks to he ability to decay living beings and kills them, without effort, or even restraining his power.

As for the Devils...man...to him, thy are such an annoyance. They are so power hungry, and they never know when to quit, until they realize just how outclassed they are. Their biggest mistake, however, is to go into a fight against Death itself. They all can believe that they can fight against the physical embodiment of Death itself, but oh, they are so proven wrong. So proven wrong in fact, that they all nearly paid their lives for it. At least they ran away when they saw how powerful he is when he raised up his godly powers. But he is not very sure if they have gotten the message. For all he knows, they are likely going to come back for round 2. But even if they do come back to try and fight against him again, he will simply use his powers to try and kill them, again, and again. No matter what happens, he will simply use his powers to kill one of them. Besides, he highly doubts that even Ophis will be able to defeat him, but will give him a respectable challenge. Especially since she is an infinite dragon god, and she will not be affected by the touch of death.

Now, though, he is expecting to have a run in with the heroes. When he runs into the heroes, than they'll have less troubling dealing with him compared to the Huntresses, but have more trouble trying to deal with him when comparing them to the Devils, who are a little bit more powerful than the heroes themselves. He won't have any trouble trying to take them down, because he will simply defeat them in combat. The devils may have magic and a wide variety of powers, but they are lot at the height of Reaper, the God of Death. The huntresses may have semblances and Aura, but they barely made a difference, and even worse is that Reaper can simply disrupt the aura and instantly drain it the moment that he touches their bodies. The heroes, they will just simply be defeated, and though they may have training far different from the 2 separate groups, that will not change a thing, as they have powers that make them look powerful, but most of them do not have enhanced physicals strength. Just physical body modifications. And that is it. They do not have that much enhanced superhuman physicality.

Reaper scoffed at the thought, as he does not feel threatened by the heroes coming, as he than spoke out.

"Let them come. I do not care of how many of them come, or the varieties of the so-called quirks that they have. Their powers mean nothing to me. I will simply defeat them without any trouble, and just use a death touch on one of them in order for them to take a hint to leave me alone."

Reaper is not worried, as he can simply defeat them at the end of it all. No matter how powerful the so-called heroes are, they will never defeat the God of Death. How can you defeat Death itself, when Death's power had become stronger. Ever since becoming the new inheritor of the mantle of the God of Death itself, Reaper's powers, such as his home attack and his Gaster Blaster power increased, along with the blue magic attack that he had. So no matter what, regardless of how strong the heroes are to try and go up against him, not even they are strong wrought for the current God of Death, and the ruler of the whole Underworld. They are simply going to try and fight a losing battle, and if they were to ever meet with each other, Reaper is going to use about a small fraction of his power, to show the difference between the hero of Union City, and a man, claiming the title of Death.

But as Reaper walked around, he than felt something bump against him, and it almost knocked him off of his footing. Reaper looks down to see who it is that had bumped into him, and he is surprised at who it is that had ran into him just like that.

Reaper looks down, as he sees the kid that he had bumped into, or rather, had bumped into him. Reaper looks at the kid, and saw that she has bandages all over the place, on her arms and legs, with the horn on her head being the one that is noticeable. Even Reaper was a little bit saddened at the girl, who than is looking up at Reaper, scared, but not of him.

"P-Please..."

Reaper looks, and saw that the young girl...is crying.

"H-Help..."

Reaper looks down, as he than looked forward, and saw that a man is coming towards Eri. Reaper's left eye glows, as the man reveals himself.

Reaper clenched his fist, as he recognized the man. But the man does not seem to recognize him, as he spoke out.

"I'll be taking the girl back. He tried to grab her, but Reaper unfolds a wing, and pulls the kid close to him, as he spoke out.

"I'm afraid, I need to bring her someplace to heal her."

The man narrowed his eyes, as he spoke out.

"This is not a request."

Reaper than clenched his fist over the handle, as he spoke out.

"Nor is this a demand."

He than swung his Scythe at blinding speed, as he reaped the man's soul, and teleported Eri back to his house before she even has a chance to see what Reaper had done.

Back at Reaper's house...

Reaper and the girl fell down to the ground, with a sudden smack, and everyone was caught by surprise at what had happened. Papyrus and Eucliwood's heads snapped at the direction of Reaper, who is holding onto the girl, and the girl is afraid to let go of Reaper, almost like she is afraid to fall down, even though both herself and Reaper are sitting down on the floor.

"Brother?! Who is this?! What happened?!"

Papyrus spoke out, as Reaper spoke out.

"Apparently, she was running away from this person that had a mask on his face, similar to a beak of a bird from a plague doctor mask. My guess that she must have been experimented on. But for what? I have no idea. But whatever it is, it is definitely not good."

Eucliwood gawked her head at the kid, who looks very scared and shaken at whatever she had to go through. Eucliwood's face then turned to an expression of fear, and than, she moved her arm to touch the girl. But Reaper spoke out to Eucliwood, as he noticed what it is that Eucliwood is going to try and do to her.

"I don't think it is a good idea, Eucliwood, ti try and touch her like this. Hey, kid."

The young girl looks up at Reaper, as he than spoke out to her.

"Do you have a name?"

The kid looked down for a little bit, before she nodded her head, and spoke out to her.

"E-Eri."

Reaper nodded, as he spoke out.

"Eri...how in the world did that happen? Was that person the one hurting you?"

Eri nodded, as she nuzzled her head against Reaper's head.

"He always hurt me, ever since I was just recently here. I don't want to be hurt. Please don't send me back to him."

Reaper than hugs Eri, as he than spoke out.

"I won't send him back to you. I never will. And besides...I already took care of that bad person. So he will hit hurt you anymore.

Eri looks at Reaper, and spoke.

"R-Really?"

Reaper nodded, as he spoke out.

"Really. It's okay, Eri. You're safe now."

Eri teared up, but in relief. Despite that, she cannot feel happy, due to what she had to go through, as she had forgotten how to smile after such a very long time of torture. Reaper sighed, as he spoke out.

"Poor kid."

Reaper than looks down at Eri's horn, as he was very curious of the horn that is sticking out of her head. Reaper's guess is that the horn is used for her powers, but that's about it. Reaper than puts a hand on his chin, before he snapped his fingers.

"I've got a good idea."

Reaper than stood up, as he than extends his hand the make a portal. Papyrus looks curious at his brother, along with Eucliwood, as Papyrus spoke out.

"Brother? What are you doing?"

Reaper turns around and spoke out to Papyrus.

"I need to visit an old friend of mine. I think they can help with Eri's wounds. Me and Eri will be back soon."

A portal of darkness opened up, as Reaper stepped inside with Eri, who is being carried inside of his arms. Papyrus spoke out to his brother.

"Good luck!"

Eucliwood waved her hand at Reaper, who does the same thing back, as both he and Eri went to the other side, and the portal closed up.

In another place...

Reaper and Eri are walking though a lush-green forest, as Reaper speaks out.

"Tori? Toriel? Are you here?"

Silence, with only the tweeting of birds, as first. But than, a voice spoke out.

"I'm here."

Reaper turns around, and he saw Toriel suddenly appear.

"Hello, Tori. Still as beautiful as usual."

Reaper said, as Toriel smiled a little bit at Reaper, as she spoke out.

"Charming, Sans. But why have you come to me?"

Reaper than looks down for a little bit, as he spoke out to her.

"It's actually...a very small favor that I want you to do for me. And no, it does not involve bringing me someone to reap, okay? It is something...else."

Toriel gawked her head, not understanding what he meant, until Reaper turns around and gawks his head, as if there is someone behind him. And there was, Eri is behind him, and she showed off what she looks like, and Toriel was horrified.

"Oh my...what happened?"

Reaper shrugged his shoulder.

"Even I don't know, but a ran into her when she was getting chased by a masked man. I guess he just have done something to him. Luckily...I took care of him. But...Eri, which is the kid's name...it still not very healed."

Toriel looks down at the girl, and spoke out.

"Child...do you mind if I can have a closer look at you?"

Eri was a little nervous, but Reaper spoke out.

"It's alright, kid. She can help."

After a little bit, Eri nodded, reluctantly, as she than goes to Toriel, who than puts one of her hands on the child's head, and puts her to sleep, so that she can examine how damage Eri is.

She was able to use her powers to remove the bandages from her arms, and the way it looks is not...very good. There are many cuts and puncture wounds all over the place, and in the way Reaper can believe it was used as, the puncture wounds were likely able to have been used to suck out the blood from her own physical body. But the cut wounds are a big question mark for Reaper.  It that he even had a question to speak out on, as he actually felt sickened at what he is seeing before his very eyes. There are no words to describe how horrified that he is looking at what had happened to the kid.

"Gods. What happened to the kid. It looks like someone tried to suck her blood. It's a miracle that they are still alive."

Reaper bends down at at the girl, as he spoke out.

"Poor kid, didn't deserve to be put into something like that."

Toriel also looked horrified, as her hands are over their mouth. But than, Reaper spoke out to Toriel.

"Toriel..."

Toriel, the Goddess of Life looks at Reaper, as he than spoke out to her.

"Do you think they you can heal her wounds and all of that?"

Toriel nodded, as she spoke out.

"I can. They maybe scars, but the young child is young enough to be rid of them one day. I just need to..."

Toriel than puts her hands over the child's body, and than, a green glow began to touch and cover the child's body. The green glow soon began to cover and envelope the body of Eri, who began to breath rapidly. Her body than began to look cleaner, the wounds began to disappear, and Eri than looks as though she is going to look younger than before, which should not be possible, considering how extremely young she is right now. After a little while, Reaper looks and sees that the wounds and scars all over the young girl's body is healed, and she is healed. Now she looks much more healthier, and looks as though she has not been hurt in the first place. Toriel smiled, as she spoke out.

"There, now she is all better."

But Reaper knows better, as he than spoke out to Toriel.

"Not...completely, Toriel."

This made Toriel confused, as Reaper explained himself further.

"You may have healed the body, sure. But there is one thing that can't be healed by your power. And that is her mental scars. Her wounds may have healed, but she is still traumatized and affected by what had happened to her, and by what the man had done to the girl in the past."

Reaper than stood up, as he spoke out.

"Luckily, though, I do have a solution to that problem. But first of all...I need to give her a fresh change of clothes. I can't have her going around looking like that. Think you can give her any?"

Toriel smiled, as she spoke out.

"Of course I can. I always have been known to make clothing, after all, Sans."

Sans nodded, as he than stepped back and watched, as Toriel picked up Eri, and walked over to an unknown section of the forest, so that the kid can be clothed from the rag that she's wearing. Reaper smiled, as he watches the both of them get ready to help her with those problems.

Back on Earth...

Reaper is shown to be walking on Earth in his mortal form. And luckily, Eri manage to get a new change in clothing.

Thanks to Toriel, she was able to make a new set of clothing for Eri to wear, and now, she is able to look more natural than before. Reaper looks down at the kid with a smile, as he saw that the kid is struggling to not look scared at what she is seeing, with so many people, and the fact that they are not that comfortable at what many people are here. Luckily, Papyrus and Eucliwood are here to keep both Reaper and Eri company, just in case things can go well for the both of them.

Papyrus smiled at the 2 of them, as he spoke out.

"Wowie, the fact that Reaper is doing something special, helping a young girl, it is such a cool experience to have. I always liked a big brother such as him!"

Eucliwood raised a notepad up, with some words written on it.

'It seems that his big brother instincts have completely awoken from being asleep.'

Of course, while Papyrus looked at it, he does not seem to answer the response, nor does he seems to pay attention to what he is seeing with Reaper and Eri together. Not that the 2 of them care, since Reaper than spoke out to Eri.

"Hey, Eri. I'm gonna take you someplace where you can finally be able to smile. And believe me, you'll like it."

Eri looks up at Reaper and spoke out.

"R-Really?"

Reaper nodded, and spoke out.

"Really...and it seems that we have arrived."

Everyone looks up at the place that before them, and it seems to be a fair of some kind. Papyrus looks up, and so does Eucliwood, as Repear smiled, knowing that this will work, as he spoke.

"Let's go."

Inside of the Fair...

Reaper did all that he can to give Eri a fun time. He brought Eri to all sorts of activities, and helped her with trying to get her to smile. And it seems to be making some progress, since she has shown interest in activities, and a desire to want to do them again, but she still is unable to smile. At least Papyrus and Eucliwood had fun, and Eucliwood was even able to get some plushies for herself to have.

But even after all of that, Eri still cannot smile. It seems that the damage done Eri's psyche was a lot more bad than even Reaper imagined it to be. Luckily, though, there is one thing that he knows will work for Eri in the end. A concert. There is a stage there, that is likely going to play a music from performers that would like to sing their songs. But he needs to get permission to do this on stage first.

"Hey, Eri. I need to prepare something for you in this stage. So, be with Papyrus, okay? And Pap, please hold Eri on your shoulders. I got a song ti sing for Eri."

Papyrus smiled and nodded, as he spoke out.

"Will do, brother. The great Papyrus will take great care of Eri.

Eucliwood than wrote something on her Notepad, and she wrote to Reaper.

'Good luck.'

Reaper nodded his head at Eucliwood. Eri is now on Papyrus' shoulders, as Reaper than talks to the person that is on the back stage, and was luckily able to get permission from him, since there are actually others before him that wanted to do the same thing. Reaper sighed in relief, to get a chance to make Eri happy for what she will really need.

Reaper had to wait a long time, as one-or 3 of the singers had to preform before him. But eventually, he was able to sing, and is the 4th singer. Firing, considering that 4 is said to he unlucky. Reaper sighed, as he held out his microphone, before he than...began to hear the tune in the speakers beginning to be heard. Than, Reaper began to sing his song.

The beginning was already beginning to start to sound good. Even Eri seemed interested. Although she was unable to hear the other lyrics, those in front of her did, as they lyrics is said out to them.

Afterthose lyrics, sharp-rapid breathing was heard, 3 times, before the next lyric is were heard.

Than, after that, music were the only things began to blare from the speakers. The crowed are already cheering for Reaper, as he is singing such a awesome song. Eri looked like her eyes were widening, and seems to he stars in her eyes. And her mouth, it is beginning to move, almost trying to form a physical gesture that is something so...positive. She does not understand. What is she feeling right now? Than, the next set of lyrics came.

Hunt goes on, deep in the night
Time to pray, down on your knees
You can't hide from the eternal light
Until my last breath, I will fight
(I will fight, I will fight, I will fight, I will fight)

There is something about that song that seems to fit who Reaper is. Papyrus does not know why, but the lyrics oddly seem to fit him. Than, the next ones came.

But we'll be strong and we will fight
Against the creatures of the night

Than, the build up began to happen, and the moment that Reaper sings the second to last lyrics, the crowed erupted in a cheer.

And the moment the crowed erupted in a cheer, so did the young girl, Eri.

Reaper had done it. He was able to give Eri her smile, and made her feel and understand it for the very first time. Looks like her mind can be healed after all. Reaper smiled, as he than spoke out the last of the lyrics.

Yeah, yeah

Reaper than heard the music end, and the crowded erupted in cheering, and needless to say, Reaper smiled, as he than went down to the ground, and teleported right behind Papyrus and Eucliwood, and they looked at Repear with smile. Eri, however, had the biggest smile, as she than went off of Papyrus, and ran up to him, eager to hug him.

Reaper smiled in return, as he extended his arms out, and Eri hugged Reaper as tightly as she could. Reaper held onto her, as if she is the most precious thing in life. Reaper, even as the new God of Death, he still has a heart more greater than most of the heroes known in the ancient times. No matter what the people of Union may say, no matter what they think of him, Reaper, he is more than just a simple God of Death that cannot he stopped. He is a hero to a child, and he will forever stay as a hero to Eri, even if the others continue to believe that he isn't. Reaper...is a hero that has saved a child's life.
