Chapter 3
"He's so adorable." Chris whispered to his friends in a joking tone. Dan genuinely had his mouth open slightly and he was snoring softly. He was also clutching a Winnie The Pooh bear which was actually the cutest thing the group had ever seen.
"We need to wake him up... lessons start in half an hour." PJ muttered, making Phil laugh.
"I've got this." Phil very literally jumped on the other boy, making him let out a loud yelp in surprise.
"What are you doing?" Dan screeched, shoving Phil off of him. He brought his hands to his cheeks to try and hide the blush that was slowly spreading.
"Lessons start in half an hour, you need to get ready." Chris chuckled. "Also, you're the cutest sleeper ever." Dan blushed even more (if that was possible).
"Winnie The Pooh, seriously?" Phil snatched the bear out of Dan's hands, making him gasp loudly.
"My mum gave him to me.. Give him back!" Dan's heart was actually beating so loudly his chest that his head was throbbing. He didn't trust Phil with his bear and if he damaged it at all, he would flip. Pooh was his favourite teddy bear and he couldn't sleep without him.
"You're actually adorable but you need to get ready for class." Phil threw the bear back at Dan who caught it with wide, fear-filled eyes.

Dan sat next to Phil in their first class (science, if you were wondering). They were learning about types of energy which was absolutely boring in both of their opinions... so they just sat and talked. Phil learnt that Dan liked Muse and anime which was awesome. They also shared their love for Pokémon.
"How long have you been at this school for?" Dan randomly asked as he pretended to write down some notes.
"This is my third year." Phil responded with a smile.
"Really? Don't you miss your home?"
"Not really. You get used to it. Why, are you missing your family?" Dan swallowed before actually directing his attention to the lesson. He didn't want to talk about his family.

Once his lessons had ended, Dan wandered down to the library on his own with his notebook in his hand. He pushed open the double doors and stepped inside. It was amazing.
Shelves and shelves of books surrounded him, all littered with different genres. There was even a section for manga! Dan wandered over to one of the more hidden tables and sat down. He opened up his leather notebook to a free page and clicked his pen.
He then began to write.

"Where's your adorable roommate?" Chris innocently asked, earning a light punch from PJ.
"Do you love him more than me?" PJ pouted.
"Well, considering he doesn't hit me-"
"Chris!"
"Joking, I love you." Chris then lent in and kissed his boyfriend whilst Phil awkwardly stood there.
"Please, no kissing." Phil mumbled, covering his eyes. "It reminds me that I am alone."
"You know, PJ's roommate is ador-"
"Chris-"
"I was just going to say that Phil would totally suit him. They would make adorable boyfriends."
"No, no offence but I'm not gay."
"You totally are."
"I'm not." Phil awkwardly glanced down at his feet. "I'm straight."

Boarding school is so much better than I thought it would be! I've met some boys who are really nice and I think they might even consider me a friend! Their names are Phil, Chris and PJ.
They found out that I still cuddle a teddy bear at 16 and they didn't mind! They said I was cute!
I'm quite happy here. At least happier than I would be at 'home'.
I'm hoping Phil, Chris and PJ never find out about my secrets and stuff. I don't want them to only be friends with me out of pity.
The lessons aren't as bad as I was expecting. The teachers are really good and I've already learnt lots of stuff I didn't already know! That's awesome.
I'm currently sitting inside the school library. It's huge. There are so many different books! I can't wait to find something to read!
This morning, I almost slept in and it was really embarrassing because my friends (*squeals*) had to wake me up. They didn't just wake me up though, Phil literally jumped on me. It was really funny but it scared me so much.
Speaking of Phil, I sat next to him in science and we talked most of the time. He told me he liked Muse which is so awesome! I love Muse too!
I have so much in common with my new friends and I think I might have a chance of finding happiness at this school.
Apparently staying strong pays off.
(Thanks mum and dad for always pushing me forward. Even if you're not there to do it anymore.)
I have a random question that doesn't relate to this book at all
What's your favourite science? Chemistry, biology or physics??
Mine is physics if you were wondering and I'm taking it for an a level so that's going to be fun..
Sorry for the random question
