On Alex's command, we charge forward. Vivien taps the ground with her staff, as the air turns darker once more. A grenade drops, followed by an explosion in the opponent's side. Dust fills the battlefield. Using it as a cover, Jovi and Brandon take down two choppers. Alex dashes forward, swinging his sword in an elegant manner, yet slicing three bots ruthlessly. Now, it's my turn! I equip my kunai, and kick the ground, sprinting forward at the closest bot. Suddenly, I lose my balance, as I trip over an obstacle. Oh no! The bot pulls the trigger.

I'm the worst! Just when I lose all hope, Alex steps infront of me. With no fear in his eyes, and sparkling smile he deflects all the bullets with just a sword?! Alex springs forward, slicing the bot into half. I try standing back up, but I realize I had sprained my ankle! Alex walks back as he helps me stand on one feet. Speechless and ashamed of myself, I turn my gaze towards the ground. What did he expect from a loser like me? It isn't even my body, and yet he thinks I have the potential to do something.

Alex pats on my shoulder as he says, "Do not underestimate yourself. Remember why have I chosen you. Not just for this battle, but the Brazen Eagles. And this quest, is just another tiny step to awaken your true power." With that, he goes back to where he had started.

Yup, it isn't over. Even if I'm standing just on one foot, I cannot show my back towards my own teammates. I jump ahead, throwing shruikan at the incoming bots. Then, I hold my kunai firmly, slicing them. Even if I'm in another's body, even if I'm at a clear disadvantage, I will not back down! Cause, that's my way of being a hero!

Seeing me all energetic, others get pumped up as well. Now, the battle is ours! With Jovi's and Brandon's guns and guts, Vivien's dark magic, Alex's sharp sword skills and my agility, we take down all the bots that were left. After a gruesome fight, we were finally able to reach the centre of the battlefield. Brandon immediately disarms the bomb, and the battle concludes. Yes!! We have finally done it.

Alex smiles as he says, "Apart from Ashlee's ankle, noone appears injured to me. With that..." He abruptly stops, as he looks at the bomb count, so do we. Astonishingly, there were just two left! With four hours remaining, it sounds pretty easy.

Seeing everyone smile, Alex says, "It may appear that just two bombs are left, but it's gonna get just tougher from here on. So, do not get too ahead of yourselves." And then, we go back to where Ashley was. To my surprise, there was someone else standing in place of her. It was Audrey! But where was she all this time?

Alex looks at her as he says, "You're late"

"Well, onn our way back, we had tracked down a dimension bomb, so we had to take a diversion"

What did she mean by 'we'?

"So where are the others?" He asks.

"It appeared that you were busy, so they went searching for the last two, along with Ashley and Jake" ,Audrey answers.

"That's great! Then what are we waiting for" and then, we get back onto our search. We decide on a three man team because with my sprain, it would be hard to stick around with two. Alex, Brandon and Vivien on one side and Jovi, Audrey and I in the other. It sounded perfectly balanced. And then we part, searching for the last two bombs. But as soon as we started our search, sonic appears out in the blue. Isnt that Lucas'! But, what's he doing here?!

Audrey looks at sonic as she says excitedly, "They must have found it. That could be the only reason Lu could have sent sonic here." So, by 'they' , she meant the Black knights and Lucas along with my real body?

Surprisingly, sonic starts to speak. Though it sounded like Lucas' voice, yet it felt a bit strange. "Hey Audrey! We've found the bomb. But, it's just too hard to get through. We need reinforcements. The bomb's located at the tallest tower in the whole city. I guess, you may be able to see it's top from here. We will be waiting at it's entrance, so hurry!" Then, sonic dissappears.

Just as he said, we could see a really tall tower from where we were standing. It looked even taller than the twin towers that I've read in my history chapter! With Jovi carrying me on his back, we immediately sprint towards it.

Though it looked close by, it was really very far away. Upon hours of walking(an exaggeration) under the scorching sun, we finally reach our destination. The towers looked way bigger than what we had seen few minutes ago, with its heights going way beyond the skies. And right before me, was a group, waving at us with a cheering smile. Uhuh, and that included all the members from The Brawlers (Carl's team name), black Knights, red dragons and the brazen Eagles. But more importantly, there was my real body. It stood right between the crowd, the soul which I was swapped with. It looked at me, rather confused, and so do I. I stop in my tracks, with an expression as though I had seen a ghost. It felt so awkward!

Audrey gives me a gentle push as we join the group. At first, I accidentally walk towards the black Knights. Upon, seeing their stunned faces, I immediately run back towards the brazen Eagles. Uh! I wish this never happened.

Alex breaks the commotion as he shouts, "Okay, if everyone's here then let's start deciding on a strategy. The bomb can be on any floor in any of the two skyscrapers. So, if anyone has any kind of ability that can help, please step forward."

As expected, Lucas raises his hand saying, "Sonic and I have already spotted the bomb. It's at the top floor, on some kind of bridge joining the two towers. The whole tower's well guarded with nearly a hundred bots in total."

"What about elevators?" Alex abrupts.

"Yup, there's one in each building, around 200 metres from the entrance, but with a six person limit." Lucas answers.

Upon hearing that, Carl's team decides to stay out and search for the final bomb. To reduce the count further, Susu, Brandon, Preston, Ashley, Vivien and Amber opt out as well. With the brawler's gone, it was just three of our teams left. Now, we had to divide into a group of two. The pattern, decided by Alex was, Matthew, sarah, lucas, jovi, Audrey and Jake in one team and Alex, Nuke, Zack, Anderson, Shu and me in the other. With the new nine man team, we enter.

As assigned, I had to analyze the whole tower for enemy bots. Apparently, there were around five bots in each floor, of an unknown level. At the same time, I try to find a way to interact with my other self. But, with the current attack pattern and the silence, it's impossible to even get close to it!

The entrance to the tower opens with a large lobby. With the generators off, the only way light could enter is through the entrance. But with Anderson's flame and Alex's spirits, the room lits up. But, with the power down, the elevators wouldn't work as well! There's gotta be another way to get to the top.

"Doesn't this place sound a bit overwhelmingly quite?" Anderson comments, as constantly observes his surroundings.

"Yeah it does look ghastly. Ashlee, search for all traps and locate the power switch for the generator to kick on." Alex commands.

Yup, that's what I had intended to do. I enhance my senses once more, as I unviel all the darkest secrets this building holds. As suspected, the power holder's in the floor below us. And for the traps, they're almost everywhere! And Lucas' intel, was right. There were around five bots in each floor, and three are headed for the lobby right now! I warn the others as well.

Suddenly, I hear the sound of metal crashing onto the floor, making a hissing sound. "Everybody scatter!" I shout jumping away. A grenade explodes, releasing smoke everywhere. A smoke bomb! Then, I could hear footsteps followed by open fire. It's gotta be the bots. But, the smoke grenade is more of a disadvantage to them, than to me cause I, can sense their location and make my move.

I spring forward, on the idea of confronting them directly. But wait... Did they just turn towards me?! I immediately slide, dodging the bullets. Could they have been equipped with enhanced visions? Now, that's a trouble.

"Guys, do you have any ideas? Because if you do, this would be right time to say it out!" Zack says, in a threatening tone, rather than a threatened one.

"Uhh could anyone please clear the smoke? Right now, we are under a complete disadvantage." I hear Shu say towards my right.

Hmm.. clear the smoke... is it possible to clear that much smoke? Or is there any other solution to this... what could it be?
