This volleyball game was more like a 'dodge and hit the volleyball'.
Ms. Moonyoung blew her whistle and the game started.
Half of the girls on Lisanna's team were out because they simply aren't athletic.

A ball came hurtling towards Lucy's face. She did backbend to dodge it than a kick over to send it the air. Which Yukino spiked it down knocking out ten of Lisanna's friends.
Mira laughed,"NYAHAHA! That's why you have Lucy and Yukino on your team bitches! NYAHAHAHAHA--oomph!"

A ball came out of nowhere and hit Mira in the face. A dark aura surrounded her,"Who threw that ball?"
Erza allowed a ball to hit her and walked Mirajane off the court.

Lucy and Yukino continued to dodge and spike balls while Mirajane cheered them on,"YES! WOOHOO! YOU GOT THIS GUYS! KICK ASS! YEAH!"

Lucy turned around,"Shut up Mira you're messing up my game!"
Mira sulked,"That's not nice Lu!"
Yukino turned around to see what all the noise is about only to be knocked out by a ball. She groaned in frustration and sent the ball flying with a kick and went to sit back down.

That same ball went hurtling towards Sorano knocking her back into a wall. Yukino looked behind her and started to snicker,"Totally worth it!"

Now it was only Lucy and Lisanna left. Lisanna's crew and Lucy's teammates were whooping and hollering and chanting their names.
The boys stopped playing basketball and watched the girls. The same guy who got a ninja star to the ear still wasn't getting it.

"Hey Heartfilia! Bend over for me one more time yeah?!"
Natsu was dribbling the basketball. He heard what the guy had said and crushed the ball with one hand.
Gray glared at Natsu,"Oi toaster oven! That was our last good ball what the hell man!"

Natsu returned the glare,"Don't even start with me icebox cause I will send you back to the North Pole!"
"Oh yeah!?"
"Yeah!"
"YOU WANNA GO BRO!"
"DON'T CALL ME BRO!... BRO!"

Erza and Ms. Moonyoung appeared behind them,"Boys...stop fighting", they said in unison.
Natsu tsked and looked back at Lucy and Lisanna. Then he heard another few whistles coming from the team.
He marched over there and appeared behind the guy who had been acting like a pervert towards Lucy.

"His Lucy"

He cracked his knuckles gaining the attention of the boys,"Oi! Which one of you comquats(means stupid, a dumbass, things on that level. It is pronounced come-kwat) just did that?"

All of them pointed to one guy who Natsu knew from his middle school art class.
His name is Cody, he is street popular like Lucy and and Yukino. Him and his buddy Trevor are shipped with Lucy and Yukino just cause of their similarities.

Cody looked up fearfully at Natsu,"Oh... *gulp*. Hey B-buddy! How's it going?"
Natsu raised an eyebrow,"Oh so now we're buddies? We could've been friends a few minutes ago if you would keep you big fat mouth shut!"

Natsu grabbed Cody by his collar and lifted him up high in the air,"So how would like your death? You can be burned by me. Freezed by Elsa. Electrocuted by Pikachu. Pummeled by Screwhead. Or all at once?"

Lisanna looked over at Natsu and swooned,"Oh! Look Heratfilia! My Natzy boo is beating up that ass for looking at me inappropriately! How sexy!"
Lucy rolled her eyes,"What's the point of even beating up guys for looking at you pervertedly. I bet almost every guy in school knows what you look like without a shirt on".

Lucy said this under her breath. And even if she said it loudly Lisanna wouldn't care.
Lucy took this opportunity to catch Lisanna off guard and spiked the ball sending her flying.
Mirajane stood up,"WE WON BITCHES! NYAHAHAHAHA! IN YOUR FACES!"

Lucy laughed at Mira's excitement and looked on the boys side of the gym. Lucy's eyes widened when she saw Natsu and Lisanna sharing some kissing action.
Lucy clenched her fists as she felt tears wanting to burst out like a broken water pipe.

But she sucked them up. She hasn't cried for along time and wasn't going to show her weak side just of some measly crush on a guy who doesn't even like her back. 
She plastered a fake smile on her face and walked back over to join her teamates in the locker room.

Natsu pushed Lisanna away,"What the hell Lisanna why'd you kiss me?!"
Lisanna only giggled,"Cause you're my bae silly! You don't want your girlfriend to kiss you in public honey?"
Natsu wiped his mouth and walked right past Lisanna and went over to the girls side.

He didn't see Lucy but, he saw Erza talking to Mirajane.
"Hey ladies where's Luce?"
Erza sighed,"You like her right?"
Natsu lightly blushed,"N-n-no! What the hell why would you ask me that Erza!"

Erza summoned a sword and held it to his neck,"Speak the truth!"
Natsu swallowed a huge lump in his throat,"Yeah I like her a lot!"
Mirajane squealed,"NaLu will become canon!"
Erza lowered her sword,"Well Lucy wasn't looking to good. Cause she was staring into space and her face was ghost white. So she's heading to the locker room right about now", she pointed to the locker room.

Natsu looked at Lucy who was walking towards the locker room and was talking to Kinana.
Mirajane took a huge gulp of her Sprite,"You got Lucy jealous. She's never jealous! Why can't you be more like Sting who knows what to do to a girl he likes".

They all looked at Sting who was giving Yukino hug and making her blush when he smiled at her. Natsu ran after Lucy,"Oi Lucy!"
Lucy grabbed Kinana's wrist and started to drag her towards the locker room.
Natsu's feet were engulfed in flames and he jumped.

He landed right in front of Lucy blocking her path.
Kinana hugged Lucy lightly,"See you later Lu".
Lucy avoided eye contact with Natsu and he only took this opportunity to tease.
"Aw is Luce not talking to me. You know I can't go long without talking to a beauty like blush!"

Lucy's face turned red,"Shut up you ass. I bet you'd rather be kissing Lisanna right about now!"
Natsu laughed,"If I don't care about you so much I would be brushing my teeth and using heavy duty mouthwash".
Lucy laughed,"I just jumped to conclusions again didn't I? Sorry Natsu!"

Natsu grabbed her chin and held it close to his face,"Don't change. I love everything about you Luce".
Lucy's face got hotter,"What does that mean?"
Natsu took a deep breath,"I'm trying to say that I lo--"

"OI FLAMEBRAIN!"
Natsu groaned and moved his hand from Lucy's chin,"Wanna sit with me at lunch?"
Lucy simply nodded,"See you in math Dragneel".
And she walked off. Natsu smiled at her from behind. Yukino and Erza passed him and coughed,"*cough* Creeper *cough*"

For the first time in a long Natsu hadn't picked a fight.
Gray gave Natsu a shove,"Are you listening to me toaster oven?"
A tick mark appeared on Natsu's forehead,"Do not touch me Elsa. I am not trying to get frostbite. Even though it's impossible".

Gray smirked,"Wanna go Ashhead?"
Natsu cracked his knuckles,"Sure".
Gray stretched,"I'm gonna win just to let you know!"
Natsu laughed,"Don't get your panties in a bunch!"
Gray punched Natsu in the face and sent Natsu skidding back.

Natsu ran back up and punched Gray in the stomach and used his leg to kick Gray's causing him to land on him back.
Natsu puffed his cheeks and yelled,"Fire Dragon's Roar!"
Fire blasted out of his mouth aimed at Gray, Gray rolled to a side and Natsu's breath attack missed him by a few centimeters.

Natsu did a full jump turn causing his breath attack to hit the entire gym. And the classrooms in the basement and the classrooms a few floors up.
The fire alarm went off and Principle Makarov's voice sounded across the loud speaker,"All students. Please grab your belongings and leave the building safely. Go home this is an evacuation!"

"Oh. And will Gray Fullbuster, Natsu Dragneel, Gajeel Redfox, Jellal Fernandez, Sting Eucliffe, and Laxus Dreyer report to my office. IMMEDIATELY!"
Gray coughed up smoke,"You win this time".
Gajeel groaned, "Look what you did Salamander! Now the old man is getting us all in trouble!"

Natsu laughed,"Shut it Metal Head you're just jealous of how awesome I am!"
All of the boys walked up to Master Makarov's office.
They all sat down on the "rant" couch and the Master walked in and sat on a swivel chair.

"So which one of you dumbasses pissed off Natsu?"
"It was Gray!", Jellal blurted out.
Makarov sighed,"The rest of you are dismissed. Gray you're coming home with me to do some chores!"
Laxus patted Gray on his back,"Remember when give him his bath. Make sure to get the scrub brush in between his legs!"

The other guys laughed as Gray gagged.
All of a sudden Juvia appeared out of nowhere,"I will not let you take my beloved! If my darling goes, I go!"
Gray shook his,"No hun. We shouldn't be doing this shit at all! Oi Gramps why don't you ask Laxus to do it for you? He your damn grandson!"

Laxus shivered,"Hell! That's why I moved in with Mirajane. Doing chores for him is what ruined my innocence at a young age".
Master Makarov slapped Gray and Juvia on their backs,"So which one of you is shaving every inch of my body?"

Juvia gagged and Gray passed out. It was probably from both the heavy smoke in his lungs or the disturbing image of their principal naked.
Natsu glanced at the window and saw Wendy, Sheeria, Lucy, and Yukino walking. 
He dashed towards it but, Sting him back,"Are you stupid? We're like 4 stories up!"

Natsu looked at him like he was stupid,"Don't you think I know that?"
Natsu jumped out the window and Sting headed down the stairs.
Sting and Natsu reached the first floor at the same time,"Oi Sting how'd you reach the ground floor so fast?"

"Cause I jumped", he said in a matter of a fact tone.
Sting saw the girls and motioned for Natsu to come along.
"Yoo-hoo Sting-sama!"
"Natsu-sama!"
They stopped moving.

Sting leaned over a bit,"What do we do now?"
Natsu grinned,"RUN", he said in a whisper yell.
Neither of them moved. Sting groaned,"Dude we need a diversion".
Natsu nodded,"They're dumb anyway so they will definitely fall for this!"

Both of them turned around to crowds of fangirls and fanboys.
Natsu cleared his throat. A guy wearing very short shorts screamed over everyone,"SHUT UP BITCHES BAE IS ABOUT TO SAY SOMETHING IMPORTANT!"
Everyone stopped talking and the guy sent the two guys a flirty wink and a call me sign.

Sting leaned over again,"Natsu think of something fast. Lisanna and Sorano are making their way to the front".
Natsu sighed in defeat,"I forgot what I was going to say".
Lisanna and Sorano made their way to the front of the crowd and turned around to look at them.

"LISTEN WOMBATS! WHEN MY NATZY POO IS TALKING I DON'T WANT HEAR A SOUND!!"
Sorano turned around and blew a kiss to Sting,"SAME GOES MY STINGY POO!"
Both girls turned back around continuing to scold while Natsu and Sting stayed put.

Wendy looked behind her and noticed that there was a lot of yelling from the front of the school.
She tugged on the sleeve of Yukino's shirt and Yukino looked down at her,"What's up kid?"
"It looks my brothers are in trouble!"
Lucy didn't bother to turn around,"They're fine. Besides they're powerful dragonslayers!"

Sheeria looked behind her,"But it's fan trouble! Please can we help them?"
Lucy ruffled Sheeria's hair,"Sure! But this is how we do it-"
All of them crouched into a circle,"Ok so I'm going to summon Gemini and Cancer. We need Gemini so that we can each turn into Natsu and Sting. Cancer will make Yukino look somewhat different and she can sneak into the crowd and point out that Gemini and I are over there and the fangirls and guys will chase after us. That's when Wendy and Sheeria you grab brothers and run! Got it!"

Yukino shook her head,"This plan sounds like a load of crap".
Lucy folded her arms,"Do you have a better plan? Unless we can just go home and forget about them".
Yukino looked down at Wendy who gave her some dog eyes and pouted,"Pwease Ms. Yukino-san?"

Yukino grunted,"Fine. But Lucy, make sure that damned crab mess up my hair!"
Lucy smirked evilly,"Oh don't worry, it'll probably go back to normal".
Everyone took their positions and Lucy gave Yukino a salute as the signal.

Yukino grunted and held a strand of her hair. Cancer made her hair waist length and black.
Yukino coughed giving Wendy and Sheeria the signal to drag their brothers backward and into a bush.
Yukino pointed over to Lucy and Gemini,"HEY LOOK GUYS NATSU AND STING ARE GETTING AWAY!"

Everyone in the crowd looked at Gemini and Lucy as they started to watch them as they turned the corner.
Lisanna grunted,"WELL DON'T JUST STAND THERE IDIOTS. GET THEM!"
Everyone in the crowd started to run after Lucy and Gemini.

Yukino walked over to the siblings while continually stroking her hair.
Lucy appeared huffing and puffing. She looked at Yukino and smiled triumphantly in her face,"As I said. The plan was successful. You're just jealous of my awesomeness!"

"And your ego", she sarcastically muttered.
Wendy's stomach grumbled,"Oi nee-san! Feed me now!"
Natsu shot her a fake sympathetic glance,"Oh. Ok Wendy. I think I see a decaying apple in some bird shit. You wanna eat that?"
Wendy kicked him the place where the sun doesn't shine. Natsu simply laughed,"Your kicks feels like when mom tickles my stomach!"

Lucy ruffled Wendy's hair,"Come on Wendy. Yukino and I take you and Sheeria to Micky D's for some food. How does that sound?"
Wendy smiled,"Yay let's go now! By losers"
Natsu and Sting's mouths dropped as the girls walked into the nearest McDonalds.

They ran into the McDonalds after them. They all walked out with food and it was around 7 o'clock already.
Lucy sighed in relief,"At least we don't have any homework! Do you Wendy?"
Wendy smiled,"Nope! Our teachers are really nice!"
Yukino smiled,"That's our true nature at FTA. We treat everyone no matter what like they're our nakama. Well unless you are a rival school then we'll crush you!"

Lucy and Yukino started laughing at the gory humor.
Yukino yawned,"I think when I get home I'll go to sleep early!"
"I'LL SLEEP WITH YOU!"
Everyone looked at Sting.

He blushes deeply and coughed,"I meant I'm going to sleep early to and um I. You know what I'm going home. Let's go Wendy, Sheeria!"
Yukino held his arm,"I'll walk with you. You'll be ok right Lu?"

Lucy smiled and pushed her friend,"Yes. Yes. I'll be fine. Go get your man, get down with your bad self!"
Yukino blushed and glared at Lucy,"Shut up you ass!"
They walked away and Natsu looked down at Lucy.
"So you wanna go somewhere?"

Lucy thought about it then gasped,"YES!"
She grabbed Natsu's arm and dragged him towards a bookstore.
She left him at the front door and squealed.
"The newest Girl's the Wilds volume is out!"
She looked back at Natsu who was walking over towards her smirking.

Natsu laughed,"Oh wow Luce! I didn't think that you were the bookworm type! You read manga?"
Lucy nodded,"Yeah. Do you?"
He nodded,"Yeah my favorite is Soul Eater".
Lucy smiled,"You and Soul have a lot in common! My favorite is Girls of the Wilds".

"The manga about the karate and nunchucks and stuff?"
Lucy nodded,"And Ms. Ingui is the famous Queen this manga is based off of her, Mr. Jae Gu, Ms. DalDal, and Ms. Moonyoung!"
Natsu smiled at her.

Lucy grabbed every volume of the manga and paid for it at the counter.
They walked out the bookstore and Lucy buried her head into a volume of the story.
Natsu tried his best to make small talk,"So umm. Nice weather we're having!"

Lucy grunted in response. Natsu sighed and looked up at the sky. They were actually having awful weather, the skies were getting darker and Natsu could hear thunder in the distance.
He chuckled to himself probably thinking that was Juvia and Gray dreading their chores at the Masters house.    

Natsu and Lucy reached Lucy's driveway. They walked to the doorway. Lucy opened her door without looking up and slammed the door behind her. Completely forgetting that Natsu was there with her too.
Natsu kicked the dirt on the lawn,"Why did I ask if she wanted to go somewhere".

Natsu walked over to his house and opened the door to a worried and angry Grandeeney.
"NATSU DRAGNEEL WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! YOU SCARED ME HALF TO DEATH CHILD! WHY ARE STING, WENDY, AND SHEERIA HOME BEFORE YOU? DID YOU JOIN A CLUB WITHOUT TELLING ME! I'M EXPECTING AN ANSWER YOUNG MAN! ANSWER ME!"

Natsu looked up at Grandeeney with a sad look on his face,"I was with Lucy. We went to a bookstore together".
Igneel looked up from the TV,"Heheh and you're sad cause she ignored you half of the time and read books right?"
Natsu nodded and Igneel burst into a fit of laughter.

Grandeeney threw a glass bowl at his head. Igneel dodged it but he stopped laughing and continued to watch the TV in silence.
Grandeeney pulled Natsu into a hug and stroked his salmon hair,"I'm sorry Hun".
Natsu pulled away,"Don't worry Mom I'm fine I just need some sleep".

Everyone watched Natsu sulk-walk up the stairs. He took a quick shower and got himself comfortable in the sheets. He looked out his balcony window and saw Yukino to someone opposite of her room.
Natsu grunted, It's probably Sting, he thought.

Natsu looked at Lucy through the bay window. She was sound asleep with a book draped over her face.
And every time she breathed out the book would float in the landing back on her.
Natsu watched Lucy until he fell asleep that night. Which led him to to have a wonderful dream
