A week later, the girls debate on rather they attend a party in the park they were given an invitation to or not. They decide to go because who knows it might be fun. The girls arrive a few minutes before the party starts. 

       "Hi, girls!  Glad, you could make it," Nathaniel says.

      "I did not you know you would be here," Chole says.

     "Good to see you again," Aurore and Rose say at the same time.

      "I thought you knew I was the host of the party," Nathaniel stated.

     "Thanks, for inviting us," Rose says.

    "Thanks for inviting me," Aurore says. She still feels sad about her boyfriend cheating on her with Lila.

      "Poor Aurore was cheated on by her rotten jerk boyfriend!  The nerve of that guy!' Chloe scoffs.

   "Oh, I am sorry to hear this Aurore.  Do not worry he is not invited," Nathaniel says.

      The girls are glad Nino will not be at the party and hope Lila does not come either.

    "Hi, Rose!  Hi., Chole!  Hi, Aurore!  Hi, Nathaniel!  Where is everyone else?"  Juleka remarks.

      "The others are not here yet, and you four are a  bit early," Nathaniel says.

    "Hi, Nathaniel!   Brother, it is so good to see you!"  Lila says and glares at Aurore.

  "What are you doing here, you are my boyfriend stealer?  I do not like you," Aurore scoffs.

"You maybe my sister, but this is a disgrace to the family. Get out of here!'' Nathaniel yells at Lila.

     Lila is furious and leaves in a hurry. She thinks who needs a party with those losers anyway?

      Nathaniel feels bad and immediately apologizes to Aurore. He can tell she is still upset.

   "Aurore, Lila might be my stepsister, but that still does not excuse her awful behavior. I am sorry,"  He says.

   "It is okay, it is not your fault," Aurore says. She smiles just a little despite everything.

    The rest of the party guests arrive.  "Hi, this one cool party!" Alya says.

    "I could not agree more,"  Kim remarks.

    "Kim you are so funny," Alix says.

    "Mylene, want to dance?" Ivan asks.

"Sure, Ivan, I would love to d-dance with you," Mylene answers.

   Rose sees Max and begins to blush.  Max sees her and smiles.

     "Rose, it is good to see you again," Max says. He blushes some too.

   "It is nice to see you too," Rose tells him.  She sighs.

          Max takes her hands in his and dances with her. Rose does not say anything the whole time as they dance together.

     Later, after the dance,  Nathaniel suggest they play a game.

"What game shall we play, Nathaniel?  "Chloe asks.

   "What is everyone up too?" A  man in a Hawaiian shirt asks.

Max wonders why the nosy, gossip maker came to the party.

"We were about to play a game," Rose says.

     Nathaniel turns around to see who asks such a nosy question. 

 "Oh, it figures it is you," Nathaniel replies.

"What is with all the questions anyway, old man?" Chloe blurts out.

"I am sir for my sister's rudeness," Rose says.

"It is okay, there is no need to apologize," He says and leaves.

 The rest of the party went well for everyone. They end up playing truth or dare. Then, they play Uno, and a few other fun games as well.

    The party comes to a close when it starts to rain outside.  The guests leave and Nathaniel cleans up.  Chloe stays to help him.

   "You need not stay," Nathaniel tells her.

  "I know, but I want too," Chloe says.

"Thanks, Chole, I appreciate it," Nathaniel says.

        After they finish, Nathaniel walks her back to her place and kisses her. He does not notice Aurore and Rose saw them.  He also does not hear their snickering in the background or when Rose's camera flashes as she snaps there photo.

       Nathaniel pulls away and says, "Chloe, I will see you!"

    "Yes, see you!" Chloe says with a blush. She feels rather awkward as tonight was their first kiss ever.  She can not believe he gave her a kiss.
