Knockout
The fleshy stumbled out of the car that just pulled up at this 'orphanage', as humans call it. What luck I had, getting the amazing opportunity of capturing the fleshy. But, oh well. The human wouldn't be missed by her carrier's anyway.
The man muttered something under his breath before stumbling forward, obviously what the humans called drunk. I grimaced. Fleshies had strange ways of engulfing themselves in nasty pleasures. The smell of the drink always burned my sensors.
I glanced towards the building. All of the lights were out. This would be easy. Simply turn on my holoform, grab the femme while she slept, and deliver her to Megatron. If she screamed, the mech living with her wouldn't even notice because of the amount of alcohol he'd consumed.
A door slammed as the mech walks inside. Seconds later I heard screams. Sighing, I turned on my holoform. Lord Megatron would peel my paint if the femme was harmed, even if not by me.
So as fast as I could, I ran towards the buildings' entrance as another scream filled the air.
Hope
A loud slam woke me up from my sleep. A glance at the clock revealed that it was nearly midnight. I groaned while rubbing my eyes. Great. Macen's home. Probably drunk from a party. I tensed at the sound of his stomping and hugged the covers closer to my chest. The thundering noise traveled all the way from downstairs, then up the stairwell and towards my bedroom.
My door handle rattled. "Where are you!?" Macen slurred. He shook the locked door handle a few more times before giving up. I sighed in the silence, relaxing against my mattress.
Then suddenly, my door crashed open, flying off of the hinges and making me scream.
"There you are." he growled.
"What do you want?" There was a sinister look in his eyes as he stepped forward, over the broken door and closer towards my bed.
"You think you're so much better than me." he slurred, "Well, you're not. You are nothing more than a pathetic little girl, Hopeless. I'll break that spirit of yours."
He stepped closer, shaking his head as sweat trickled down his temple, muttering, "I'll break you" over and over again. He stumbled and caught himself against the wall, his sinister glare still locked with my eyes.
"Come here."
"N-no...."
"COME HERE!" He pushed off the wall and reached out towards me, motioning me over. When I didn't answer, he dove for me. I tried to dodge but was too slow. He slammed me against my bed. Everything bounced, and the covers were thrown off of my body as he struggled to keep me pinned down.
"Let me go! Macen!" I yelled. One of his hands touched my face gently, while the other yanked at the hem of my shirt.
He raised my shirt over my stomach. "I'll break you..." he grumbled. Realization hit me then, and panic welled in my throat. A scream started to build, but I just froze in complete horror of what Macen was about to do.
"Let me go!" I whimpered and let out a sob as he grunted and slapped me across the face. The sheer force of the blow knocked my head against my pillow, and stars filled my vision. I couldn't get out of his grip, even when he was drunk.
"N-no! Please! M-Macen!" This was new. Macen had never tried... this... before. My body shook with sobs as he yanked at his belt buckle. I fought back, shoving and pushing at his chest with all the strength I could muster. When that didn't work, I tried to headbutt him.
The hand caressing my face grabbed at my hair and pulled my head back at my second attempt to smash my face into his. Then he slapped me again.
"You're mine, you pathetic use of a human! You aren't better than me!"
Letting out strangled scream, I made one final attempt to get him off of me. I swung my hand, letting my nails scratch across his face before raising a knee as hard as I could and bucking my hips. He stumbled backwards, off the bed, then locked his gaze with my terrified one.
Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, they did. Macen's lips tugged up into a dark, chilling smile that sent fear down my spine.
"You shouldn't have done that."
He took slow, calculated steps towards me, despite his drunken state, and I shrunk back in fear.
Suddenly, from behind him, another figure appeared out of nowhere and smashed his fist against the side of my attackers head. The crack was loud and sickening. Macen fell, his body limp. I gasp, my eyes wide, as I stare at him in complete shock.
Then I saw his chest lift up and down.
Still breathing.
I fought back more tears, unsure if I was happy or angry that he was still alive.
Trembling, I looked up towards my hero. He was tall, well over six foot. His hair was dyed an unattractive bright red, thicker at the top while cut shorter on the sides. Thin, but with a strong build and a little stubble on his chin. Before I could open my mouth to thank him, I finally noticed his eyes.
Red. Bright red. There was no kindness or remorse as he stared at me. If anything, the man glared down at me as if I was a bother as he leaned over my trembling body. There was a dark glint in his eyes that had me panicking all over again.
"Come with me." He grunted, reaching out for me.
"W-who are y-you? W-what do you want?" I cried through sobs. He shook his head and grumbled to himself. Trembling even harder, I closed my eyes as he reached out for me.
A few seconds later, I felt him pull my shirt back down and buckle my belt. I hadn't realized that I was in front of this stranger half naked.
"Come with me, human." He ordered with a sneer, taking my arm roughly.
"N-no! Let me go!" I screamed and yanked away from him. Before he could grab me again, I slid open my window and jumped out.
A pained yelp escaped me once I hit the ground, but right away I could already begin to feel my bones mending and healing. From above, the man stood in my window, shaking his head at me.
Then he disappeared.
Or, for better use of words, he fazed out right before my eyes. A grinding noise sounded from behind me, and I turned. Another large robot stood tall, glaring down at me. Its metal was red, with a white face, and an obvious frown.
Two red orbs gleamed as they stared down at me in the darkness. Then, without a word, it reached down to pick me up.
"No!" I yell, trying to fly away. Cold metal wrapped around me and a swirling vortex opened to my right. I screamed and thrashed, but it didn't bother the mechanical being forcing me through the swirling green mass. With three steps, it passed through and stopped in the middle of a huge room.
A small gasp escaped me at the sigh. Giant robots EVERYWHERE.
"Knockout! Did you retrieve the femme?" Trembling, I tried my best to cower and hide in "Knockouts" hand. A large, silver robot stood at the center of the room, hands clasped behind his back and jagged spikes placed on his shoulders like some strange armor.
He smiled, teeth pointy and sharpened. "Ah, you did well. Hello human." He sneered.
"What do you want?" My voice trembled with fear.
"You will soon find out."
Nodding to Knockout, he began walking down a large hallway. Knockout followed. I struggled in the tight grip but eventually gave up. The bump and sway as the robot walked made me nauseous. I tried my best not to get sick.
We finally reached a dreary looking room with a large examination table sitting right in the middle. The robot placed me down, walking over to a large computer-like screen glowing green.
"Hold still." A red light that seemed to come from nowhere scanned me. I jumped in surprise as 'fight or flight' kicked in. But who can win against a giant robot?
Another giant robot.
Which is definitely not me.
I ran as fast as I could, but when I reached the edge of the table, another large hand grabbed me and squeezed until I couldn't breathe. I struggled for air.
The large silver robot smirked, rather amused at my pathetic means of escape. When I tried to wiggle out of his grip again, he squeezed. I cried out and took a desperate breath of air, finding nothing.
"P-please-" I gasped out. The robots' eyes grew dark.
"Are you finished?" He growled. Weakly, I nodded. Without much care, he dropped me back onto the table, leaving me gasping for breath.
"Now hold still," The robot named Knockout ordered. The red light appeared again, passing over my head and traveling down my body. I shuddered involuntarily.
"Well?" The silver bot asked, arms crossed. Knockout shook his head, as if not believing what he was seeing, then looked down at me.
"She has a Cybertronian life signal. But how? I am most interested in how a fleshy took interest in one of our kind..." he rambled off, holding a strange scanner towards me. Flinching, I scooted away from him. "And she does appear to have two more... appendages."
"What are you, little femme?" The silver robot asked. Curiosity fills his gaze as his glowing red eyes stared at me. But how could I answer that question, when I have never known myself?
Cocking my head to one side, I forced myself to speak. "Why am I here?" I whispered towards the silver robot.
"You perk my interest fleshy," He stated simply.
"That's it?" I asked, both surprised and angry. But my voice was soft.
"Should there be more reasons?" He asked darkly. "No one denies me, and when I see something that pleases me, I take it. You perked my interest, little femme. How can a human have CNA?"
"What is-"
"Like DNA, but Cybertronian," Knockout explained. Still not quite understanding what the heck a Cybertronian is, I just nodded.
"Lord Megatron, maybe you should let Shockwave assist me in experimenting with her."
"Experimenting?" I squeaked. The two either didn't hear me or just didn't care.
"That is.... allowed. She cannot be terminated yet. I know his ways of... finding answers." He stared straight at me with an evil smirk on his face. "For now, find a way to heal her."
And with that, he turned with his hands grasped tightly behind his back, and left the room. Knockout turned back towards his glowing computer and cocked his head to the other side.
"It is strange how a human can have extra appendages when it is unnatural. The right one is injured," He stated without question, staring at the holographic screen before turning to me.
"Hold still. I'm better at breaking 'em than fixing them." He sent me an evil smirk before a crackling noise filled the air. It reminded me of a TV with static. Then, there was a figure standing next to me.
With a yelp, I stumbled backward as the tall, red-haired man stepped forward. "Y-you're that guy!" I exclaimed in shock, my mouth agape. "Wait, if you're a robot, how did you-"
"Just hold still and let me look at your appendage."
"Wing." I corrected. I flinched when he came closer.
"Y-you're not going to break it any more than it is?" I stuttered as he rolled his eyes.
"If I wanted to hurt you, I would have stepped on you by now. Or let that mech make away with you." He said, amusement in his voice.
I felt my eyes blur with unshed tears as I thought of Macen. Trembling slightly, I unfolded my wings. Knockout gasped, staring at them for a short moment before shaking his head and laughing.
"You are a strange femme." He ran a hand over my uninjured wing. "How long are they?"
"Ten feet," I whispered. Knockout whistled, then went to work running his hands not so gently over the unharmed wing, feeling every bone.
Then he moved to the injured one, unwrapping the cloth and inspecting it. In one swift movement, he used both hands to crack a bone somewhere in the joint.
I let out a scream, my hand immediately flying towards the source of the pain.
"It kept popping out of place," Knockout explained, standing up from his kneeling position. "Now, if you don't use it for a while, it should be fine."
"H-how did you know?" I asked, "I m-mean, you're a giant metal robot. How do you know about humans?"
"I'm a medic. Guess it comes naturally." I stood as he plucked me off of the table, scanning me once again. "You are... showing an energon signal. Yet you bleed human blood."
"A cybertronian has never interfaced with any other species but our own. If you are an organic cybertronian as Megatron believes you to be, you are the first of your kind."
I thought over the information he had given me before sighing and folding my wings back in.
"I need a sample..." he muttered before taking a sharp finger across my left arm. I let out a pained squeak as the blood oozed out.
"Please, it's just a scratch." Knockout rolled his eyes as he placed the finger with my blood against the keyboard of the strange computer. His eyes scanned the screen as various symbols popped up, then he sighed.
My eyes stung with tears as the new "scratch" oozed more blood.
"It does not show any data on your parental units...Do you know who they were?" He asked me.
"If I knew where my 'parental units' were, I wouldn't have to live at that crappy orphanage." I snapped while wiping the blood off of my shirt.
"Fleshies." Knockout shook his head. I shook my head.
Robots...
