Wheeljack's P.O.V
"Liar." I stood to my pedes. The action made the floor shake, and the human stumbled a bit before tapping the floor with his foot again and taking a step back. It couldn't be possible, could it? This mech... the blonde hair... bright blue eyes... Hope looked exactly like this mech.
This mech is older than Hope, by the looks of it, I told myself, Hope said Ryan was younger than her. Was this Megatrons plan? To use this pathetic excuse of a human to somehow change Hope's mind in helping him win the war? That's not happening.
"Liar?" The mech questioned, a little startled by my sudden movement.
"Why are you here?!" I demanded. He looked taken aback by my question, which I had already asked before.
"I-I told you, I don't know. Silas said he was brining me with him for insurance. Whatever that means."
"How am I supposed to believe you?" I asked. He raised an optic ridge.
"Why wouldn't you believe me? You have just met me, and you suspect I am not what I say I am?"
I grit my denta, narrowing my optics at him. "We are on the Decepticon warship. Megatron has you in here with me for a reason. This is a trick. You are not Ryan." I snapped. With a shrug, the boy sighed and sat. He stayed quiet, obviously not wanting to talk anymore. He was staring at my pede, but it was if he wasn't really paying attention to whatever was around him.
His eyes were strange. Bright blue, but didn't seem to make eye contact. Again, he tapped the floor with his foot.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"I'm blind."
"Blind?" That would explain his blank stares. But how did he know how big I was then? Or that I was Cybertronian? 'Ryan' smiled sadly at me after tapping his foot.
"I can see your confused expression." he stated.
"You just said you can't see."
"I can't."
"Then how-"
"I can feel you."
He wasn't making any sense. Who the heck was this mech!? There was no way he was Hope's brother. I wouldn't allow myself to believe it. She said he died. Heck, Hope knew that her brother was dead. And if he wasn't dead, than my anger towards him grew ten fold.
How could he just leave his sister? Even if he was a small sparkling at the time, then he should remember. He can't be her brother, he is too old. My mind reminded me. I shot a glare at 'Ryan' as he continued,
"I can feel my surroundings through the ground." he shrugged before shifting uncomfortably. "Silas enjoys his experiments."
"He experimented on you?" I asked.
"Yes."
"Why didn't you leave?"
He didn't answer. Instead, he turned his head away from me. He rubbed a hand through his hair before pushing himself against the wall. "He is family. He cares for me."
"Family?" I asked, a little relieved. So maybe this guy wasn't Hopes brother.
"Silas is my brother." 'Ryan' shrugged. "I had no other place to go. He said he would make my eyes better. Make me see again." Suddenly, tears formed in his eyes. "I-I...I couldn't pass that opportunity up."
"It isn't the same as seeing, with colors and such, but I can see the outline of things before me. But its getting better. Silas promised me that by being here, with the Decepticons, he could use their science to make my eyes better." he cleared his throat awkwardly, wiping away his tears.
"So... why are you here?" he questioned.
"Long story, kid." I muttered.
He grinned, tilting his head to one side and all sadness from before disappearing. "I have time. I'm sure neither of us is going anywhere soon. So how did you get here? On the Nemesis?" I let out a sigh, finally sitting down and leaning against the wall.
"Well," I began, "my ship was attacked by a predicon. Got captured, and here I am."
"Well, that's boring." 'Ryan' muttered. I felt a smile come to my lips. Maybe I could somehow end up liking this mech. If he truly wasn't with Megatron, and only here with Silas, he could be good company. Better than rotting away in a cell.
"So what's your story?" I questioned. "Your with Silas." I said his name harsher than I meant to. 'Ryan' raised an optic ridge.
"You act like you know him. And not in a good way." he muttered the last part. I nodded grimly.
"He hurt some friends of mine." I said angrily.
"He does like his Cybertronians." the mech whispered.
"Not just Cybertronian." I spat, thinking of Hope. She had been with him. For how long, I couldn't be sure. What if they did something to her? What if she was being experimented on like this sparkling in front of me was? And if Silas did that to family, then what had he done to Hope?
"A human?" 'Ryan' asked, not seeming all that surprised. "He does it all the time. Well, he experiments with the baby before it is born and they come out... different." he winced at the word, as if it hurt. "Anyways... some of them are animal experiments. He used to be all into those, trying to make a humans sight, hearing, and physical strength is different. But he's all into your kind now."
"Is that what you are? Born into his experiments?"
'Ryan' shook his head. "Silas is my brother. My mom died young. Apparently, we are only half brothers. Different mom, same dad. Silas' mom separated from his father and ended up falling in love with a younger woman. She got pregnant with me. She died during childbirth."
I grimaced.
It was awful to hear how a sparkling lost his carrier. I sighed, holding my servo out. 'Ryan' noticed the movement and tapped his foot, before standing and walking to my servo. Quietly, I picked him up and held him up to my face.
"Do you wish to stay with Silas?"
He looked uncertain. Biting his lip just as Hope did when she was nervous, only, with a locked jaw. He was in deep thought, his blind eyes somehow able to hold concern and confusion. I raised an optic ridge when he sighed.
"I want to see."
"So you want to stay with him?" I scoffed. 'Ryan' looked down to his pedes before sighing.
"I don't like him. I hate him. But I can't stand not seeing. I've never done it before, you know? And he's making progress. I saw a hint of color a month ago. But it was gone just like that." he snapped.
"I could get you out of here when I escape with my friend." I said lowly. I couldn't be sure if the scum Soundwave was listening in or not. He was always around when you didn't want him to be. "I have a friend on the Autobots who could try and help with your eyesight."
'Ryan's' face lit up. "R-really?" he asked. I nodded.
"But I will require your help to get out first." I said seriously. I suddenly realized that I couldn't get out without him. He had a unique ability that could be put to good use. 'Ryan' thought for a moment before looking up to me, a smile on his face, and nodded.
"I'm in."

Ratchet's P.O.V
The days passed rather quickly. Everyone was rather down. Including me. The human Hope hadn't been here long, but everyone had come to love her. So now, after two weeks of waiting, it is almost time to go and rescue her.
Optimus and the team managed to gather enough energon for all of us in case one of us were injured, which was a very high possibility. Optimus gave me a small nod as I opened the groundbridge for the Autobot group.
"Be ready for a groundbridge, Ratchet. Have the med bay in case any of us are injured." I nodded and opened the groundbridge as requested. Wheeljack was one of the last to leave. Bulkhead was behind him. Wheeljack smiled at me.
"Thanks, Ratchet. If any of us get hurt, we are in good hands." he transformed and speed of after the others. I shot Bulkead a look as the wrecker watched his friend leave. Slowly, so slowly, Bulkhead was noticing a difference as well. Wheeljack never called me by my much hated nicknames, and was always pushing aside the task of fixing up the Jackhammer, since it was never fixed from his crash.
"Be alert, Bulkhead." I warned. The wrecker nodded and went after the others. Venting, I studied Wheeljacks CNA. Something wasn't right. I could feel it in my spark. There was Wheeljacks old energon spill from the time he crashed with Hope, and then there was when he came back to base from when he escaped the Nemesis.
I just felt like I had to study the energon. I knew something was off. But so far, the information coming through wasn't showing anything different. Wheeljack looked the same, but he acted different. Something that only I seemed to notice. Even Bulkhead didn't notice. Maybe it's the tense situation.
Whatever it was, I wasn't going to stop with my research until this unnerving feeling was gone for good. And the only way I could ever feel better was with facts.
Quickly, I set up the Med bay and adjusted my tools and extra energon supplies. The results on the energon would be through soon. Two weeks at most. As I arranged my tools, I heard a small, short alarm and I turned to my work to find my results in. The CNA was scanned and prepared.
Okay, five seconds. It was ready in five seconds..
My optics widened as I read over the test results.
"By the Allspark..."

Megatron's P.O.V
"How much longer?" I growled at Shockwave. The mech did not answer at first, but merely continued typing the complex formula that was going through his processor. Knockout answered for him, knowing the scientist was in deep thought.
"It has been two weeks, Lord Megatron-"
"I know this, Knockout." I spat, looking down at the human femme who was laying silently with her wings spread out and her limbs strapped down. Energon flowing through tubes were attacked to nearly every part of her skin, and a human breathing mask was placed over her face.
In case the energon began to somehow affect her breathing and heart rate, Knockout explained.
"Hope is going to take a while. When I changed her CNA when she was smaller, I made sure that the process in bringing her back to her true self would be difficult." Silas said from beside Knockout. The red mech sent Silas a glare and scoffed, turning around.
Silas was in breakdowns body.
Knockout couldn't get over the fact that Breakdown was gone. Disected by the human Silas and then used as a way for him to live with us. Apparently, when the bounty hunter Lockdown sent the M.E.C.H hideout into flames, Silas was caught in the flames and nearly died.
So he used Breakdowns body as a new life source. I sent the mech a glare.
"I am aware of your attempts to foil my plans, human."
"Megatron, I am no longer human, but a pawn for your cause when you request me." Silas said. His voice did not sound like Breakdowns, and though I would never admit this, I felt a sudden tug of hate at the fact that one of my personal warriors was off-lined.
"It is Lord Megatron to you, pest. And because you are inside one of my owns body, does not make you our kind." I snapped. Silas, a little taken back by my outburst, merely nodded, bowing slightly in a way of apology before stepping back.
"The human will be waking up soon." Shockwave stated, turning to me. "But be warned. Hope will be different-"
"That is what I'm counting on." I scoffed, interrupting him. Shockwave did not complain, but continued with his work.
"Your plan better work." I growled at Silas. "I want her to comply to me completely." Silas brought the human I had seen in Hope's nightmares and memories. Ryan. The brother. The blind brother. It made me want to laugh, the way she cared for him so much. How she believed he was dead.
"He is all yours. You don't want the girl?" Macen asked Silas. Silas nodded to a group of armed men, who immediately took the unconscious boy and made their way to the vehicles waiting close by.
"Not yet. I wish for her to have developed before I do anything more to her. She did not escape us from pure luck. I allowed her to leave." Silas said with a snort. Macen took the money in Silas' hand and smirked, mock saluting the man.
"Until you require my service further." he said. Hope stood in the arms of an armed man, crying out for her brother to be released.
"Please!" she cried. "I won't be bad again, Macen! Don't give him to them! They are bad men! Please-" she was cut off by a slap to the face, and the man holding her release her, letting her fall to the ground from the impact of the slap.
"You have other things to worry about." Macen grinned and slapped her again.
"She can't remember this." Silas warned. Macen grinned at the man before taking his wine bottle and swinging it at the girls head. It hit her with a nasty thunk, and with a cry she went limp.
"Don't worry. She won't. Until next time." Macen waved, picking up the unconscious girl and walking away.
I had witnessed the memory when I had entered the femmes mind, and now it was burned into my processor. This human Ryan was the only way Hope would work for me willingly.
"She cares for my brother." Silas shrugged. "And I do not care what will happen to him. Do with him as you want if she does not cooperate."
"Brother?" Knockout questioned. "But if the human boy is also Hope's brother-"
"My mother was unrightfully tested upon-" Silas threw Shockwave a look, "and my brother was part of the result. Was it not, Shockwave? Your first test did not go as planned, did it?" he sneered before shaking his healm.
Until I had spotted the femme flying that day, I had completely forgotten about the experiments I had ordered Shockwave to make. Until I saw Hope, I'd thought that the project was a complete failure. Unfortunately, Shockwave disobeyed my ordered and let the human femme live, along with her brother, who had been a failure before hand, but without this disobedience, the girl would not be in my possession.
The weapon needed to win this war.
"I am curious," Silas continued, "My brother does not possess the same CNA as my sister, correct?"
"No." Shockwave said. He turned to Silas. "When I collected the carrier meant for Hope, I was unaware that she was already carrying. So he was not really part of my experiment. I did, however, stop his growth until Hope was born, and then he was born. He did not possess my CNA or experiments that I did on Hope."
"On my mother." Silas mumbled angrily. I shot up an optic ridge, amused.
"You hold grudges, human?" I smirked at Silas' glare.
"It is the entire reason I began my restless search and research on your kind. To get revenge. But my curiosity got the better of me, and I am actually more interested in joining your kind instead of destroying you."
"You could not destroy us." I said darkly. Silas turned away.
"I would have found a way."
I opened my mouth to argue with his incompetence, when a sudden scream filled the air. Every optic looked down to the strapped down femme, who was writhing in pain on the metal berth.
"Make it stop! NO! Stop it! MAKE IT STOP!" she screamed. She was glowing the same color as the energon flowing into her from the tubes. I jerked my head to Shockwave, who was shaking his healm and hurrying with whatever he was typing.
"Scrap-" he muttered.
"Shockwave-" I began.
"I do not believe that is normal..." Knockout commented as the human began glowing profoundly and shaking. Her eyes shot open, and I couldn't help but notice the familiar light blue eyes replaced with even brighter eyes. The same color as the Autobots optics, if not lighter.
"She is overloading." Shockout warned. "I require assistance-"
But Silas was already to work, turning on his holoform and unhooking the energon tubes from the girl. She continued to scream, her pain obvious, and music to my ears. This meant progress. We are one step closer to winning the war. Soon, the human would be awake and properly prepared for battle.
Silas placed a few drugs into an IV before sticking it in the femmes arm. Immediately, she quieted down and went still. Knockout shuddered. "She is freaky." I rolled my optics before grinning.
"She will be awake soon." I said, pleased.
"Yes." Shockwave agreed. "I will alert you as soon as I find she is awake."
Nodding, I slowly made my way back to my throne room. Upon my arrival, I found Soundwave waiting for me. "Report." I ordered.
A video of the Autobots, including Makeshift, searching through one of my mines came on his visor. I huffed in agitation. The Autobots did not understand that they will never multiply in resources.
"Get rid of them." I said before turning and sitting on my throne. Soundwave nodded silently before disappearing into a groundbridge with a small group of vehicons behind him. The sound of footfalls came to my audio receptors and I turned to find my beast entering the throne room.
"My Lord..." he bowed.
"Predaking." I greeted. Standing to his full height again, I watched him walk to me slowly.
"My Lord, I request to help. I am not just the leader of my soon to be predicon army, I serve you and you alone, and wish to help."
"You are needed here for now. In case the Sparkling needs to be contained."
"You believe she is such a threat?"
"Indeed."
"I will do as you request, my Liege."
"I expected nothing different. Tell me, Predaking, how is Starscream holding up?" I had given the beast permission to punish the seeker for his disobedience. A smile crept onto the mechs face.
"He is doing fine."
"Off-lined?"
"Not quite." Predaking snickered before noticing my grim expression.
"Make sure he is not off-lined. I shall retrieve my second in command soon. Until then, you are allowed to do as you wish with him." Before Predaking could answer, an explosion shook the Nemesis, throwing me and my beast off balance.
"What in the Allspark-" Predaking began.
"Knockout! Report!" I snapped through the comm link. A nervous chuckle came from the mech.
"We have a problem, my Liege. The Autobot Wheeljack has escaped and made use of his gernades we confiscated before." I let out a growl before standing to me pedes.
"Predaking! Find the wrecker." with a nod, my beast left. I clenched my denta.
"Knockout, make sure the sparkling is not taken! I will not allow her to be taken from me! We have come to close! Keep.him.away.from.her!"
"Yes, Lord-" another explosion shook the ship and I growled, trying to keep balance.
That wrecker would pay.
