Chapter Four
The (H/C)-haired girl looks up at Izuku, waiting for him to say what he wants to say. But the spurt of confidence Izuku had disappears just as fast as it appeared.
"N-Nevermind." he mutters.
"Then it's time for an all-nighter!" the (E/C)-eyed girl squeals, turning on Heroes Awaken.
The two spend the night watching their favourite show together. And the last thing they remember is clinging onto each other for warmth before passing out. The next morning, Inko is at work so our two lovebirds are left in the apartment- alone. (Y/N) sits up in Izuku's bed, rubbing her eyes as the green-haired boy beside her stirs.
After marking #9 off of the to-do list, she glances down at him, smiling.
He looks so cute when he's sleeping. Wait, WHAT!?
A blush appears on her face but she quickly covers it up and stands up from Izuku's bed. She yawns, as her stomach suddenly growls, indicating she's hungry. She leaves the room and heads into the kitchen, grabbing a pot and pan.
A few minutes later, when Izuku wakes up, he glances around tiredly for (Y/N) but he's surprised when he can't find her. He gets up from his bed and heads into the kitchen to lock eyes with the (E/C)-eyed girl.
"Oh good morning Izu-chan!" She giggles, flipping one of her pancakes as Izuku stares in dismay.
"You're making breakfast?" he asks, the girl nods.
"Yep! I love to cook."
The green-haired boy chuckles, "Well, you didn't have to, I could've made us something."
"No, I'm the guest, and I want to cook!" the girl responds.
He chuckles once more, before taking a seat at the table and waiting for his breakfast. Soon, the pancakes are done cooking and (Y/N) puts them on a plate, placing them in front of her friend.
Realizing that he's never met (Y/N)'s family, Izuku decides to ask, "Hey (Y/N)-chan,"
"Yes?"
"Why haven't I ever met your parents?" the girl in front of him freezes, and stares down at her pancake.
"I-I uh- well, my parents and I don't get along quite as well as you might think we do." (Y/N) responds, "I never thought you'd like to meet them either. They aren't the kindest people in the world."
Izuku shakes his head, "I would love to meet your parents. Maybe I can even help you fix your bond with them."
He flashes her his signature smile, which earns him a bright red blush from the (E/C)-eyed girl.
"O-Okay, we will!" She replies, fist pumping the air.
Izuku's smile widens, and once they finish eating, the two stand up. (Y/N) grabs her friend's hand suddenly and giggles.
"How about we head to my parent's house now?" She asks, and the boy beside her nods.
He quickly writes a note to his mother, telling her where he and his best friend would be, and then the two leave. Izuku follows (Y/N) down the road for a while, until they come to a large house with a sign on their gate that reads, '(L/N).'
The girl beside him takes a breath, "Alright, let's go."
(Y/N) presses one of the buttons on the gate, which asks for a name, "(Y/N) (L/N), and a guest."
Slowly, the gates open and the best friends enter the (L/N) household. Once they enter the large house, one teenager, an older woman, and an older man greet them.
"Oh (Y/N), you're home?" the woman says, which Izuku assumes is her mother.
The brother, on the other hand, says nothing and just stares at Izuku with dead eyes.
"Yes mother, I'm home." (Y/N) responds, "This is Midoryia Izuku, my best friend since I transferred to his middle school."
While (Y/N) and her parents catch up in the living room, (Y/N)'s brother finally approaches Izuku.
"I'm Kaori, or whatever."
The boy with (H/C) hair in front of our green-haired cinnamon roll reminds Izuku of Katsuki; his rude attitude, and 'don't care' personality was all too familiar.
"Nice to meet you Kaori-kun." Izuku replies, but the boy just scoffs in front of him.
"Don't act all innocent, I know how you work." Kaori replies, "You just want to get in my sister's pants and then leave; breaking her heart in half."
Izuku swallows, "N-NO, no, that's not it at all. I don't want to break her heart heck, I don't even like her in that way!"
The boy takes a final look at Izuku, before he turns away and heads into the living room with his sister and parents, the green-haired boy behind him soon follows.
"So Midoryia-kun," (Y/N)'s mother says, as Izuku sits down beside his friend, "what are your intentions with our daughter?"
A bright red blush appears on his face, "W-We're just friends."
(Y/N)'s father chuckles, "You can't hide anything from us, so I suggest just telling the truth."
Izuku doesn't like this man, "I'm not lying, sir."
The man nods slowly, "Alright."
(Y/N) fidgets with her hands for a moment, before finally taking a breath, "I wanted to come here to talk, mom, dad. I know we fought a lot in the past but I want to fix our bond..do you think I can live here?"
Her mother nods, "As long as you don't embarrass us again."
(Y/N) nods, turning her head to smile at Izuku, mouthing the words, 'thank you'.
"You can have your room back, I suppose." her father adds, "Are you staying with us as well, Midoryia-kun?"
"Huh, oh no, I'll be heading home soon." the green-haired boy replies, scratching the back of his neck.
"Alright, we're going to work now, you kids have fun." (Y/N)'s mother says, as her and the father leave (Y/N), Izuku, and Kaori alone together.
"I'll be right back." (Y/N) says, smiling at Izuku before exiting the room.
Kaori's voice startles Izuku, "She may still hate me but you're still going to have to watch yourself. I'm her brother, I will not hesitate to kill you if you hurt her."
Izuku gulps; terrified, but something catches him off guard. Kaori's eyes are so dull, almost like Izuku's when he was still extremely depressed.
"Are you alright, Kaori-kun?" the green-haired boy asks.
"Huh?" the (H/C)-haired boy replies, "Of course I am.."
But Izuku can see through the venom in his words.
"I know we just met, but you can talk to me."
Kaori's eyes seem to light up for a millesecond at Izuku's words, but the light disappears just as fast as it came.
"I-I'm fine."
Before Izuku can respond, (Y/N) enters the living room again.
"Alright Izuku, I'll walk you home." she says, giving her brother an angry sideglance.
Once the two are out of the (L/N) household, Izuku stops.
"Why don't you like your brother?" he asks.
(Y/N) sighs, "Well when we were younger, he used to tease me all the time, I guess like how Bakugo teases you. Eventually, I wanted it to stop so I broke his favourite toy, but as payback, Kaori decided it'd be funny to post my embarrassing moments online, so that got me kicked out of the house. I've hated him ever since."
Izuku frowns, "You should try forgiving him, it will make you feel better. He seems sad. Maybe that part of you that is being held down by your family will disappear if you forgive your brother."
(Y/N) slowly nods, "Alright, I guess I'll try."
"And also, I'll walk myself home, you should go back home and get some sleep, I'll see you later!" Izuku says, waving at his best friend as he runs off.
"Bye Izu-chan!"
(Btw this is what Kaori looks like, just replace the black hair and eyes with your hair and eyes, if they aren't black)
