The date
It was the day for my Aunt's first date in like 2 years. Momo was currently picking an outfit out for her as I talked to her, more like, gave her advice.
"I never thought that I'd be taking dating advice from my niece, but here I am." She pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Thank god for me, see you'd never survive without me, I'm a necessity."
Sherri and Momo both rolled their eyes. Momo neatly folded the outfit she picked out and set it in my aunts arms.
"Thank you dear." She said, she was really tense.
"Go put it on, maybe it'll help you feel less nervous." I suggested.
She nodded and got up, going to change into the outfit Momo chose.
"Wow, I've never really seen her that nervous before. Shes usually always so uplifted." I cross my arms, leaning against a near by dresser.
"Well, after not dating for awhile I imagine it's a little nerve wracking." Momo explained.
"Yeah, I really never understood why she never actually seen other people, though I never really asked.." I sighed.
Sherri walked back in, dressed in the nice outfit Momo picked out herself.
"I should hire you, you have amazing taste in clothes. Maybe you can do my clothes shopping." Sherri said and laughed.
"Happy to help anytime Mrs— Ahem.. Sherri." Momo corrected herself with a smile.
"Okay, I'm ready." Sherri said with a big exhale.
Momo noticed her tension and anxiety, she shuffled over to her and whispered something in her ear, they both started to giggle.
"What..?" I questioned with a lifted brow.
They continued to giggle as they walked towards the front door, looking back at me and giggling some more.
"You guys are weird." I uttered.
Momo opened the door for us, stepping outside towards my aunts car.
She opened the driver side door and stopped before getting in.
"Thank you guys, seriously this may have been a terrible idea, but I have high hopes." She smiled bright.
"Anything for you auntie." I gleamed.
Momo nodded, smiling.
Sherri got in her car and sped away, and when I say sped, I mean 20 over the speed limit.
"I seriously don't understand how she still has a drivers license." I shook my head. Momo giggled beside me.
"I really hope everything goes well." Momo muttered.
I looked at her with my "I have an awful idea" look.
"No." She said flatly.
"But.." I pouted.
"You're giving me that look, no, whatever your thinking don't." She crossed her arms.
"Hmph, you know you're hot when you're stern." I said, brining myself closer to her.
She put her hand on my face, preventing me from coming any closer.
"Don't try." She ordered.
I was able to move my way around her hand, planting a kiss on her lips. She was hesitant but kissed back. Once we pulled away she sighed in defeat.
"Fine, what's your plan?"
"Heh, well, I happen to know which cafe they're going to, as well as a bus that goes by there. Sooo-"
"You wanna spy on them?" She cut me off.
"uh- yeah pretty much." I shrugged.
"You are so nosey. Tsk." She shook her head in disappointment.
"Yeah, but you still love me." I nudged her.
"Well, you're right about that.." She pondered for a moment.
"... So when is that bus coming." She asked, showing interest in my plan.
"Uh, like 5 minutes."
"Jesus, well, if we're going we better go now." Momo grabbed my hand.
I intertwined our fingers, walking to the bus stop. Momo stopped and looked at me.
"Damn, you're really slow. At this rate we're gonna miss the bus." She taunted.
"Uhm rude." I pouted.
"Get on." My turned around and pointed at her back.
Without hesitation I jumped on her back, she swiftly held onto my legs so I stayed up. I put my arms around her neck.
"I like the view from up here." I said as she started to walk faster.
"The air quality is better." I teased.
"Oh shut up or i'll drop you."
I kissed the top of her head and ran my hands through her hair, which I could because she didn't have it in her iconic ponytail.
"You could never."
"I hate how you're always right." I mumbled.
I giggled and smiled.
We made it to the bus stop, Momo stopped as I jumped down. We waited hand in hand for the bus.
Once it finally arrived we got in, sitting together. Momo sat quietly on her phone as my eyes ventured around the bus. I gazed upon two familiar heads. Tsu and Tokoyami.
I nudged Momo. "Psst.. look, it's Tsu and Tokoyami." I gestured at the two who were holding hands.
"Oh my.. Are they on a date. How cute."
"I totally knew they liked each other." I watched as the two talked and exchanged laughs.
"Look they're even blushing." Momo said in awe.
"Remember when we were like that." Momo added.
"Don't be talking like we're married, jeez. You sound old now." I rolled my eyes.
She lightly punched my shoulder. I brushed her off, still watching the two.
"Hush, this is history. I must watch it go down." I watched as Tsu got up.
Before getting off she bent over and kissed Tokoyami on the cheek. Tokoyami had the biggest flustered face ever. Tsu smiled and got off the bus. Tokoyami sat dumbfounded.
"You done fan girl-ing yet?" Momo put her phone down.
"Yeah." I said fully satisfied with prior events I got to watch unfold before my eyes.
"Good because I want attention now." She grabbed my face and connected our lips. I felt her smile into kiss, that always sent butterflies to my stomach.
I pulled away slowly, still keeping eye contact.
"Are your needs fulfilled now?"
"Hm, not quite, but for now we have a date to stalk don't we?" She teased.
"Mhm, indeed we do. Actually this is the stop I think." I said as the bus stopped.
Momo and I got off together. I pointed towards the cafe that was on the corner of the street. It was a cute posh cafe, not too big but not too small. You could tell it was a cute place to visit, especially for a date.
"That's the place." I grabbed her hand and lead her across the street.
I scanned the cafe, first inspecting the inside through the big picture windows.
"I don't see them inside.." I muttered.
"Look, they have an outdoor patio area. Let's go check."
We snuck around the side of the cafe that was surrounded with neatly trimmed bushes and short brick wall. We looked over the bushes and fence to look at the patio area.
"Look.." I whispered.
There sat my Aunt waiting for her date.
"Yes.." Momo cheered quietly.
"Heh, let's watch this go down." I said excitedly.
Sherri's POV
Oh my this is nerve wracking. I can barely breathe.. No Sherri don't freak. You'll ruin your chance.
I cleared my throat, trying to get rid of the impending feeling of doom. I played with my fingers nervously.
My attention shifted as I heard approaching foot steps. A tall and very hour glassed figure stood before my table.
"Hm, you're Sherri I presume?" Her raspy yet feminine voice spoke.
"U-hm.. yes. That's me." I said, a little embarrassed.
I watched as the dark blue haired woman sat down in the seat across from me. She smirked at me, two dimples formed on her cheeks.
"Great to see that you're not a cat fish. You're a lot more stunning in person." She flirted.
I blushed slightly. I choked on my words not knowing what to say.
"Actually there's something I should probably tell you." I said.
"Go ahead sugar." She arched a brow with curiosity.
"Funny story but it was my niece and her girlfriend who set this date up. The tinder profile and everything." I laughed slightly.
"No way.. really? Wait.. I flirted with I'm going to presume a teenager on a dating app. That's a huge first and hopefully a last." She pinched the bridge of her nose and laughed.
"Yeah. But I had no take in the situation. I swear." I said in defence.
"Well, if you were forced into this I wouldn't want to bring you any trouble." She said politely and stood up.
I froze not knowing what to do. Sherri don't be a dumbass, don't let her leave, you moron.
"Wait.. No don't go, I agreed to come. You seem.. different from other people."
She sat back down, a smug look on her face.
"Different you say? Hm, how so?" She seemed very interested in what I had to say.
"Well, you're definitely one of the most gorgeous people I have ever seen. You're a pro-hero so that automatically makes you a lot different. And you're personality.. I like it, and I don't usually like people so fast." Her cold grey eyes studied me.
"I knew all that but coming from your mouth it sounds a lot better." She looked me up and down.
I felt my face heat up.
"I am a writer, so I'm good with my words."
"I'm sure you're good at many other things too.. But tell me more about you and your writing." Her grey eyes stayed locked with mine.
"Hm, well I started writing around the age of 10. I loved writing, mostly silly kid genres then. Eventually I took as many english courses I could. Than I stared to write real books, horror, thriller all that stuff. I stayed with that and went to collage for it. It pretty much stuck with me my whole life. Plus my quirk just fits it." I explained.
"You sound passionate about the things you like. I enjoy that. Though tell me more about this quirk of yours." She said with actual interest.
"Nothing special but I can read and take in information at incredible speed. I could grab a big novel and flip through the pages as fast as I want and I can take in and remember all the information word for word. It definitely helps with editing."
"What a lucky quirk. Especially in your case."
"What about you? You're so mysterious. I don't even know your real name Blade." I dragged on her name.
"It's Nadia, Nadia Tokage." A smirk tugged at her lips.
"Well than Nadia, what is so special about your quirk?'' I said with some sass.
"Look here, sweetheart." She leaned onto the table as so did I.
She moved her hand in front of me, lightly placing her pointer finger underneath my chin. Suddenly a cold metallic like feeling formed underneath my chin. I let out a gasp in shock. She took her finger away grinning. I stared in awe at her finger that was now a flashy sharp knife. She sat back into her seat, her hand going back to normal.
"I can turn my limbs into multiple types of blades, knives and swords." She said with a cheeky grin.
"I can see why you're a pro hero now. Charming, hot and you have a badass quirk." I sat back in my chair.
"Not so mysterious anymore am I?"
"Hm you still are."
"Alright than we'll ask each other question to get to know each other better. Ill start. What's your favourite animal?"
She explained.
"Dammit always the hard questions. Hm we'll if I had to pick a favourite.." I paused and thought. "Probably an Owl."
"How basic." She teased.
"Hey! It's not basic." I said with a pout.
"Eh, I can't really be talking my favourite is a cat." She admitted with a shrug.
"It suits you. Y'know because cats are mean." I said with a flirtatious grin.
"Ouch." She brought her hand to her chest pretending like she'd been hurt.
I giggled, a small blush tainted both of our faces.
"Okay, how about your favourite colour?"
"Blue. Is it not obvious? she gestured to her hair.
"Just making sure. Mine's probably red."
"Okay okay, enough with the middle school questions. How many other relationships have you been in?" She asked.
"I don't keep track but I've been married once and in around 4 serious relationships." I admitted.
"Woah, you've married before. Damn, why'd it end if you don't mind me asking?" She said a bit taken back.
"We got married too young, it was a pretty messy relationship to begin with."
"I like a woman with experience." She said with a wink.
"Really making a flirtatious joke outta my divorce story." I shook my head and laughed.
"A girl can try. I've been in a lot of different relationships, but I have to admit none of them were actually that serious. I've never actually been in love."
"Oh, that's rough. Though you are lucky because you didn't have to suffer through falling out of love. Consider yourself lucky."
"I would like to but it's pretty lame being a 27 year old who's never fell in love." She said with a pang of embarrassment.
"Just means you have a lot to learn, and I have a lot to teach." I said with a wink.
"I don't like learning but if you're my teacher I think I can manage." She shot the flirting back.
I blushed at her quick comebacks.
"Better not misbehave on me Ms Tokage." I bit my bottom lip.
"No promises." Her grey eyes stared straight into mine.
I felt a connection with Nadia. I have spent only a short time with her but, there's something. She's different.
"Why don't we grab a drink and head back to my apartment, it's not too far from here." Nadia suggested.
"Sounds fine by me. I've always wanted to see inside a pro-hero's home." I agreed, lifting myself from my seat.
"It's nothing special." Nadia added.
As I made my way inside the cafe I caught a glimpse of the top of two heads, one with dark black hair and the other h/c hair. They disappeared behind the wall as fast as they appeared. I shrugged it off.
Nadia and I walked into the cafe together. We ordered drinks from the counter.
"I'll take a medium cafe mocha, and..." I said looking at Nadia for her to order.
"A medium chai tea latte, please." She added.
"Great that'll be 440¥" The barista said.
Nadia went to reach into her blazer pocket but I grabbed my wallet from my purse before she could.
"No, I'll pay." I gently put my hand on her, stopping her from reaching further for her money.
"If you insist. Thanks." Nadia said with a genuine smile.
I slid the money over, the barista slid our drinks over as well. I took both the cups and handed Nadia her's.
"Thank you, have a great day." I said politely before leaving with Nadia.
I sipped my coffee, my eyes quickly glanced at Nadia free hand. The urge to hold it surged through me and I gave in. I intertwined my fingers with hers. She glanced at me and smiled.
"Don't go turning your hand to a knife now." I teased.
"I wouldn't dare." She smirked drinking her tea.
We arrived at the bottom of a fancy apartment complex.
"No way, you live here?" I said in awe.
"My salary is quite high if I say so myself." She said with pride.
She opened the front foyer door for me. I walked in with her behind me. She lead me to her condo door, opening it with a key card. I walked into and took in the huge place. It was so space full, one of the windows even took up the whole wall. The view was amazing.
"Woah.." My jaw probably hit the floor.
"Amazing isn't it?" She said while tension built in the air around us.
"Mhm."
"I think I know something more amazing though." She grinned pinning me to the wall.
I let out a small gasp. Our faces only inches apart, her fierce eyes flickered from my eyes to my lips. I brought my hands to her face, placing them lightly on her cheeks. I leaned in and connected my lips with hers. Our bodies pressed closely together. Nadia's hands roamed my torso. While our lips moved in sync she hit a button behind me, it moved automatic curtains in front of the big window, making the apartment light dissolve away.
Our clothes came off one by one as we moved to her bed. She pushed me down into her crimson red duvet. Her sweet kisses and touch sent electricity through my body.

I woke up in similar bed sheets. My eyes fluttered open to meet another pair of grey eyes.
"Mornin' sugar." Her raspy voice echoed in the room.
"Morning." I said with a yawn and lightly kissed her nose.
"Last night was..." She began.
"...Amazing." I finished before she could.
She nodded moving a piece of my hair out of my face. I moved myself closer to her, her body radiated warmth that I melted into. I placed a kiss on her jaw before getting comfortable in the crook of her neck. She ran her soft hands across my arm.
I shifted and looked at my watch. "9:30AM" It read. I sat up quickly.
"Oh shit!" I said in shock.
"What's wrong sweetheart?" She sat up as well.
"It's late and I left my niece alone at home. I was supposed to go home after the date. She probably thinks I'm dead." I said scurrying to put my clothes on.
She laughed slightly at my panic.
"Does she not have parents?" She asked with curiosity.
"Oh.. Well her mom passed away in a ..tragic accident and her father.. it's complicated but he's not active in her life.." I half lied.
"Ah sorry I asked. But yes you get back to her. I can give you a ride." She threw my shirt to me.
I slipped all my clothes on, grabbing my purse from the ground.
"No no, that's fine. My car is parked just down the street. Thank you though."
She slipped her shirt back on, getting up. I grabbed her phone from her nightstand.
"Unlock it so I can add my number." I handed it to her.
She obliged and unlocked the phone. I hastily put my number in it and tossed it back to her.
"Sorry I have to leave in such a rush I really enjoyed last night and the date.. Call me later. I'm free whenever." I winked and ran half way to her condo door before running back to her.
I quickly crashed my lips with hers. I pulled back and stared into her eyes for a moment before kissing her cheek.
"Bye-bye!" I said on my way out.
"Bye sugar.." Nadia said before I shut the door.
I rushed out the apartment complex to my car. Dammit, don't kill me Y/n.

Y/n's POV
I sat on Momo's lap as we played super smash bros on the living room tv.
"How the hell did you win again?" Momo rolled her eyes, annoyed by my countless victories.
"Magic." I teased.
We started another match when the front door opened to reveal my aunt. Or at least a roughed up version of my aunt. Her hair was a mess, her make up was on all the wrong parts of her face and.. oh my god her dress is even inside out. Dark lipstick marks decorated her skin.
"Oh my.." Momo and I both said under our breaths.
"Don't start you two. All i have to say is thank you." She said with a smile.
We watched as my aunt did the walk of shame up the stairs presumably to her room. Momo and I glanced at each other and exchanged grins.
"Heh, mission accomplished." We clasped hands.
"Okay, now let me beat your ass at this game." She giggled as we continued our game.
I smiled knowing that I helped open a new chapter in aunt's life.
