"Are you a meerkat!? Why do you keep looking left and right?" Kyla startles me, as he puts her tray on the table. The cafeteria was awfully quiet today, everyone was simply minding their own business, no screaming, no fights everything normal.
"Huh!? Sorry!"
"Musa is something wrong?" She asks, taking poking her fork in the pie. I responded with a gentle nod and sipped onto my juice.
"Hey guys, guess what happened!!?" Faith rhythms as she puts her bag on the table. We both look at her confused. Whenever she rhythms about something, it is never good.
"I don't want to," Kyla says. Faith cringes at her and then looks at me.
"Musa! What you guys did yesterday?" She asks, making me choke on my juice. Wiping my mouth with my sleeve, I noticed Kyla's curious eyes staring at me.
"Nothing. Why? Is something wrong?" I went with playing dumb as telling her the whole story will only bring back the memories of how I was dumped at my almost first kiss.
"Ryan almost killed Ethan today, I was wondering if you knew something about it." Faith crosses her arms as her lips curl into a smirk.
"I don't think so and may I ask why I'm the suspect here."
"Well because while hitting Ethan Ryan said to never meet YOU again," She points at me, like a detective.
"He is delusional, it must have been a mistake." I shrugged, getting up; packing my things to go back to the class when Kyla startles me by banging the fork on the table.
"Wait! Why I'm the only one missing everything!??
"Kyla, it's nothin-----"
"Anyway, Ryan is being suspended for a week and Ethan is in the hospital getting his bones fixed." Faith says, giving me an evil eye.
"I'm going to class," I articulated and left before they could shoot me with more questions.
*
'This is a very bad idea, Musa Brown, do you really have a death wish or you are just crazy. Why!!?? Why!!? Whyyyy are you here?? Why do you care?'
I'm standing in front of Ryan's door and literally having a mental breakdown. My finger reached the doorbell, just a few inches apart when another panic attack struck me. Jumping up and down like a lunatic, I pull my hair. Seriously if anyone saw me like this, they'll report me or call the mental institution.
"Okay, you can do this," I took a deep breath and again reached for the doorbell, "or let's not" I turned around. Walking back and forth, I crouched down on the pavement, I mean how can I see him after that; he simply rejected me without even asking me. We were never together but I still feel like I've been dumped.
"Just come in already," I look up to see him grinning, " I opened that door ages ago." He waves his hand at me, his goofy smile reaching his eyes.
I went inside, the lights were dim and the room was a mess, I heard his footsteps as he descended down the stairs. "What brings you here?" He asks as he walks around the kitchen counter.
Now that he has mentioned, I really don't have an explanation as to why I'm here, I can't just tell him that I came because Faith told me his morning interaction with Ethan in which I'm the main reason, like pfffttt...
"I--I was-- wassss--," seriously girl, you are buzzing here. Ryan raises his eyebrow, trying to guess my next word as I refuse his eye contact.
"You were worried?" He says hesitantly.
"No!"
"Then I don't remember opening an amusement park at my place for people to visit," His sarcastic self made a comeback as he hands me a glass of juice.
"Fine. I'm here to ask something."
"Shoot."
"Why did you hit Ethan?" I said bluntly. Ryan was fidgeting with the hem of his shirt, as his eyes shot me a disappointed look. "Why?" I asked again.
"You were crying," he said in a low tone,
"So?" I gulped down to hide my nervousness, "Why will you hit Ethan for making me cry? Why you should be doing that? Why will you get yourself suspended? Why?"
"Woah! That's a lot of Whys!?" He threw up his hands, I took a deep breath to push back my tears.
"Ryan--" My voice cracking by every single breath I take, "You know me, you found out something I was desperately hiding to live a normal life and now if you'll go around doing things like this for me--- I'll--I might--"
"I never thought of you as someone different, Musa ---"
My chest felt heavy, as his intense gaze followed my eyes. I was afraid that my heartbeat was clearly audible to him as an awkward silence dawned upon us.
"Please don't do this ever again," I said, keeping the glass on the table, I walked towards the door.
"What if I want to?" He yells.
"Why will you?" He hung his head down, as I turned to meet his eyes. I knew this expression, it was the same as last time; "It's okay."
I don't know why I said that but I don't want to get my hopes high. God knows when I started liking him but I don't want him to know.
Never!
*
"Yes! I'm a dumb idiot who can't even say 'I like you'." I mimicked Ryan's voice as I strangle my plushie. I placed my wig over another plushie and pretended it was me, as I threw 'Ryan' off my bed.
"Honey, your mother and I are concerned," I turned towards the door, to see my father leaning against it.
"Dad!? What are you doing?" I asked startled by his sudden appearance, hiding the dolls under the blanket.
"Aren't you a bit old for playing like this," He says as he sits on the chair, his disquiet gaze was hiding the hint of laughter which was finding his way until he burst into laughter.
"Dad!!" I whined, he wiped off the corner of his eye as he controls his breathing.
"Sorry, but seeing you play like this was actually very funny."
"Yeah right! So what's wrong? You said you were worried."
"Of course, my 16-year-old daughter is making her dolls wear wigs and then throws them off the plank, I'm worried."
"Well, sarcasm runs in the family." I shrugged.
"And yes, I think the 'I like You' guy might end up sleeping on our front porch if you don't go." He said as he shut the door. It took a minute for me to process my dad's words before I could run up to my window.
Ryan was standing there, walking back and forth, kicking in the air, his face was half hidden by the hoodie but I knew it was him. I ran down the stairs and flung opened the door, I didn't care what my parents might think, I guess they'll just accept, I mean what can be weirder than a blue haired girl acting eccentric.
"Musa!" He jolted, as I came out barefooted. "How did you know? I didn't even ring the bell."
"My neighbors were complaining about a strange man,"
"Your neighbors?" He turned his head around at the totally isolated street.
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"I know. I know the answer now." Ryan said as he came closer to me, my legs refused to move, as his fingers tucked my hair behind my ear.
Running his hand in my hair pulling me closer to him, I could feel my heart sinking into his smell, 'Is he going to kiss me'. Ryan entwined his fingers with mine, his hot breath hitting my neck sending shivers down my spine, tracing my lips with his thumb, he placed his lips on mine. It felt warm as I sense him smiling in between, Ryan pulled me in, his hand trailing on my back. Gasping for air made his kiss firmer, my hand resting on his broad chest, as we pulled apart.
"This is why I care," He smiled, as I felt my lips.
My first kiss!

Hello!
Yes, one freaking month. I updated after a whole freaking month because I wanted to write something good and I didn't really want to drag the flirt thingie or whatever and writing a kiss scene was hell. *ZERO EXPERIENCE*
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this chapter. Please vote and comment. I try to write better in my next chapter and also ignore the grammatical errors.
THANK YOU!!
