Hello everyone! This is a bonus chapter that I just did for fun, I hope you enjoy! (It's theme is: What type of pet would each member of the Batch have?) (Plus an extra bonus character!)

Starting off strong, with Wrecker! (See that pun?)

- Wrecker is a total sweetheart, and Hunter is scared that he would just want one of every animal.
- Hunter makes him do a load of research (*ahem* more like Tech doing research.) on what pet he would like.
- When Wrecker finally decides on what animal he would like, Omega helps him get all the things situation in the corner of the living room. A pad, a sleeping hut, and a litter box. They also get a bunch of toys and a wire fence to put around the area, to give the Bunny extra space. Delta insists on 'bunny proofing' the whole house to remove chewing problems.
- The Holland Lop, lovingly named 'Molly', is allowed to roam around the house under adult supervision, and is soon the favorite member of The Batch.

Time for the old man Echo!

- Echo is a scarred old man. He needs someone who understands him.
- This is why I think he would totally have a parrot.
- and not just any parrot. An old African grey who's name is Patches, almost half a century old, who's owner passed away. He has been sitting in the animal shelter, having become super aggressive after his brother, and cage mate, died. He started plucking himself, tearing at the feathers on his chest in mourning, revealing the welted pink skin beneath. The woman who ran the avian rescued worried no one would want this angry, ugly bird.
  - Echo walks into the rescue with Crosshair, knowing that he wants a friend. He also knows how corrupt some parts of the Parrot Breeding industry is, so that's why he opts to go to a rescue.
- He sees Patches sitting on his perch inside his roomy cage, glaring at Crosshair through the bars.
- "He looks just as grumpy as you are."
- Echo takes him home that day, and although it takes months for Patches to warm up to him, the bird seems to realize that Echo is just as scarred as he is. Although, still, no one else can't touch Patches but Echo.
  - Every time Echo walks into the room where Patches is, the parrot croaks out 'Hello, Pretty.' It's fair to say, it boosts Echo's self esteem.

Now everyone's favorite RBF, Crosshair!

- Crosshair claimed he didn't want a pet. But when going to the store with Wrecker and Omega to get fresh hay for Molly, he saw the sad little Beta fish floating in his jar.
- Now, Crosshair isn't a sensitive guy, but the poor, bedraggled looking fish tugged at his heart.
- He let Omega pick out the plants for the cage, and brought home his little buddy, holding his little jar high so he didn't slosh around with every bump.
- He ended up naming him 'Jaws', his dark complexion fitting the name. In his large, ten gallon cage, the Beta became lively, swimming around to rest on plant leaves and swimming in circles when he saw Cross get the food out.
- He turned from dark grey to vibrant red, his fins and his tail flowing out behind him like flags.
- And Crosshair wont admit it, but he is attached to jaws, who seems to smile every time Crosshair walks into the room.
- Omega promised not to tell, but she has caught Cross talking to Jaws multiple times, about everything and anything.

Now for Tech!

- This one stumped me as I don't really find Tech a big animal guy.
- But then I thought of the perfect animal. :)
- Tech decided that he wanted a reptile to put on his desk, so when he got stumped in his work, he could watch it for a little while to get his mind working again.
- So they got the enclosure, a large tank with a heat lamp and plenty of sand, rocks, and even a large water dish. But Tech still couldn't figure out what species of reptile he wanted.
- "There is just too many extraordinary reptiles to choose from."
- "How about, I pick one for you?" - Hunter.
- So the next day, blindfolded and confused, Tech stood in front of his desk.
- Omega excitedly pulled off his blindfold, and he stared down at the little turtle in his tank.
- Tech named his tortoise Michelangelo.
- As Mikey grew, he had to be moved to a larger enclosure outside. Tech lays out in the shade next to him, on his data pad, while his friend enjoys his snacks.

  Time for our favorite dark and broody, Hunter!

    - Although Hunter wanted a dog to help protect his girls, a dog's loud barking just tips his enhanced senses over the edge.
  - Crosshair, however, made a comment that he should get a lizard or some other reptile like Mikey— something quiet and relaxed. (Relatively... sometimes Mikey things he is a ninja and tries to climb super high things.)
- Tech is the one who saw the ad in the local paper— a young girl was going to college and had to re-home her Chameleon as no one could take care of him. So Tech, Hunter, and Omega drove the hour to meet the little chameleon... who turned out not to be so little.
- The chameleon ended up not being so little...
- He was only green when in his cage but became a multitude of colors when Hunter took him out— his scaly toes wrapped around his fingers, his tail wrapping around his forearm, his independently- moving- cone- shaped eyes looking around.
- The slow moving animal charmed Hunter, and the animal is often seen perched on Hunter's arm as he takes a well- earned nap in the sun.

Omega!!

-Omega new what animal she wanted, without question... she wanted a ferret. When further research prompted that ferrets did better with friends, she begged Echo and Delta to let her get two...
- She ended up getting three. Sibling sisters, and then their brother, the three ferrets became menaces in the Shand/ Fett house.
- They stole jewelry, Hunters bandana, cutlery and silverware. Delta knew whenever things went missing to check the ferrets massive enclosed space in Omegas room... where, 99.99% of the time, is where she found it.
- Hunter HATES the ferrets (Cherry, Moxy, and Phil) because they seemed to have it out for him. From his wedding band to his shoes, they loved stealing his things. Not that he can stay mad at them for long... they are just too cute.

(And for people wondering what Animal Delta would get, she wouldn't... she would be too busy taking care of all the other animals.)
