I set at my table and let out a sigh as I toyed with my fork. I heard an owl and watched as a note appeared in front of me. I slumped into my chair and let out a sigh. I picked it up and stored it away.

"Problems in paradise?" Draco asked with a smirk.

"Go away."

He took the letter from me and I instantly ran for it but he climbed onto the table.

"Dearest Ebony, I wanted to tell you happy birthday." Draco said staring at the letter.

I snatched it at him and glared daggers at him. I quickly put the note in my pocket and set back down.

"Whats so bad about your birthday?" Draco asked sitting beside me.

"Because it's the same day that Moony left me." I mumbled as I stared at my plate.

"Sorry." He said softly.

I put my fork down and stood up. I quickly left the great hall and made my way to the dormitory. While I walked to my room, I pulled the letter out and threw it away. Upon arriving in my room I saw something in my dresser. I walked up to it and picked it up to see a note on it.

Dear Ebony,

You have grown into a fine young lady. Your mother would be proud to see how smart you are. I had wanted to give this to you in person, but I believe leaving it here for you is better.

The bag has a charm on it to allow you to carry almost anything in it. Could probably fit your bed in it.

Anyways, I left another gift inside. It was given to me by your mother, I use to carry it with me for good luck. But I believe you need it more.

"SB?" I mumbled as I stared down at the note.

I opened the bag and shook it. By the sound only one thing was inside. I reached in and dug around. Within seconds I felt something and I grabbed it and pulled it out.

It was a ring with a ebony stone in the center and red stones along the side. The ring was beautiful, but it was definitely meant for a man. I looked it over and saw engraving on it.

I slipped it on my finger and it fell off, making me shake my head and laugh. Yes it was for a man and most likely an older man by the looks of it.

I quickly grabbed the pendant, Gran had given it to me, around my neck and unclipped it, I slid the ring on the chain and watched it click with the pendant.

After I was finished I put the necklace back on and hide it under my robes. I grabbed a couple of my books and put them in the bag, excited to finally be able to carry all my books to class with me and not have to rush back here to switch my books.

After I was finished I turned to see that it was time for my next class, DADA. I rushed to class and made it in time to see Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville missing.

I shook my head and decided that they were just running late. Though when I saw Draco missing as well, I realized that they were most likely up to something.

Half way through the class we heard running and turned to see all five of them running into the class, Neville in the lead. Neville slammed the door in Draco's face and I instantly let out a laugh.

"Victory!" Neville exclaimed happily, causing Professor Lupin to raise an eyebrow.

"Sorry, oh Ebony. Here before they get here. Happy Birthday." Neville said with a smile.

It was poorly wrapped and I shook my head and unwrapped it.

"Is this-"

"Yep."

"How did you know I wanted this? I've been trying to get this book for months." I said in shock.

The book was one of Newt Scamander's newer works. The book has been such a hit that it was always sold out. It told of how he helped Dumbledore stop Grindelwald.

"Thank you!" I exclaimed as I hugged him.

"I saw you reading it in the library, and maybe saw you trying to buy it from Dumbledore." Neville said with a laugh.

"Yea he would only let me borrow it for so long." I mumbled as I set the book down.

Just then the door was thrown open and the other four came in.

"Dang it! He got here first." Ron said with a groan.

They each had something different in their hands.

"Okay, what's going on?" I asked looking between them.

"We overheard you talking to Malfoy and we asked McGonagall if she would take us to Hogsmeade to get you gifts." Hermione explained.

"Harry, I didn't think that you had got your-"

"She made an exception this once. Said that as long as she was there I could go. Happy birthday." Harry said as he held out a wrapped gift.

I shook my head and took it from him.

"The twins told me, you like stuff like this." Harry explained.

I instantly laughed as I saw that it was a journal, and not any journal a secret one. Which if anyone that didn't know my password opened it up, it would insult them.

"Oh I'm totally using this on Snape." I said playfully.

Ron gave me candy and Hermione got me a new quill and ink set. The quill was rainbow and had sparkles on it. The ink jar was filled with color changing ink.

When Draco handed me my present from him, which actually shocked me, my eyes went wide. It was a simple diamond bracelet with red and green gems.

"It's your parents and your house colors. Real diamonds might I add." Draco said calmly.

"You guys didn't have to get me anything." I said as I slipped it on.

"Course we did. I mean there is no way we are letting Moony ruin it for you."

"Moony?" Lupin asked making me freeze up.

"Yea, he left her on her birthday, and now she hates her birthday." Hermione explained.

"And she shouldn't, it's my favorite day." Neville said calmly.

"Suck up." Draco mumbled rolling his eyes.

I turned to see a look on Lupin's face that was a mixture of shock and hurt. Almost instantly it disappeared and he had us all take our seats.

The class soon turned to a free period and I watched Fred sit down next to George, they had snuck in when they learned we weren't doing anything. Ron was sitting beside Hermione and Harry was talking to Neville at another table.

"I think we should get a divorce." Ron said calmly.

"What are you doing?" I asked with a frown.

"Just Practicing." He explained as he set his feet on the table.

"I- why are you planning our hypothetical divorce?" I asked with a laugh.

I laid my head on Fred's lap.

"I don't know, I'm thirteen. I think I'm having a... quarter life crisis." He said as he bit his lip.

"Ron, we aren't even dating and we never will." I said with a laugh.

"Hypothetically divorce me then." He said with a smile.

"Ok then I'm hypothetically taking half your assets." I said as I set up.

"Well you didn't sign the hypothetical prenup. Is it... it's called the prenup right?" Ron asked looking over at George.

"Yea it's a prenup and you did hypothetically sign one so." George said calmly.

"George, what are you-"

"I'm his hypothetically lawyer in this divorce case." He said shaking her head.

"Fine then! Well then I'm taking the hypothetical kids so, right? We can get those, right?" I asked looking back up at Fred.

Fred let out a laugh and nodded his head.

"Yes, we can definitely get the hypothetical kids. Don't worry about it." He said calmly.

"Fred, how could you?" George asked in shock.

"Hey, don't talk to my hypothetical lawyer." I said glaring at George.

"He is our brother!" Ron exclaimed from beside George.

"Yes and I am hypothetically sleeping with him, which is why he is working for me now." I said as Fred sent me a wink.

"How could you hypothetically do this to me?" Ron asked in shock.

"Because you're hypothetically an alcoholic!" I yelled as Ron let out a laugh.

"Hey! I've been going to hypothetical rehab!" Ron yelled angrily.

"What is going on?" Harry asked as he walked up to us.

We all turned to look at him and he stopped in his tracks.

"We are getting a hypothetical divorce! I get Harry!" Ron exclaimed.

"He is my cousin! No I get him!" I yelled back.

"Like hell you do! He's my best mate!"

"Fine, I get him weekends and you can have him every other day." I said sternly.

"Fine."

"I... shouldn't have asked." Harry said as he set beside Hermione, who was shaking her head.
