Chapter 10
I laid down face first on my bed, groaning in pain. A knock on the door made me look up to see the twins peek inside my room.
"Ice cream?" Fred asked as he held it up.
"Hot blanket?" George asked with a smile, holding a fuzzy blanket.
I made grabby hands and they walked over to me. George wrapped the blanket around me and Fred handed the tub of ice cream.
"Where are your spoons?" I mumbled as they set beside me.
Fred rolled his eyes and left to get two more spoons. George laid beside me and I laid my head on his lap. When Fred returned I put my feet on his lap.
"I hate today." I mumbled into the bowl.
"I know." Fred said as he rubbed my knee.
I heard a knock on the door and looked up to see Percy.
"Rough day?" He asked leaning against the door frame.
I flipped him off and he walked into the room and plopped down beside Fred. He took my hand in his and gently squeezed it.
"It's okay, every woman goes through this. It just means you-"
"I will kick you in the dick and then you can give yourself a pep talk." I mumbled hiding my face in George's shoulder.
Percy let out a laugh and stood up, quickly walking out of the room. After he left Molly came in shaking her head. I was lying on both the twins.
"Here, this will help. Old family recipe." Molly said sitting a cup down.
"Thank you." I mumbled as I took it from her.
I set up and pulled my feet under me. I took the mug and chugged the drink, holding back a groan of disgust.
"I know, it tastes horrible." She said softly.
I made a gagging sound and George rubbed my back.
"Can I be a man?" I mumbled angrily.
"Nope." Fred said with a laugh.
I flipped him off and laid back on the bed. I curled into a ball and watched as they scooted up and laid beside me.
"You guys... are pretty good brothers." I mumbled.
"Yep, and you are an awesome adopted sister." George said calmly.
"The best." Fred said with a snort.
I shook my head and closed my eyes, falling fast asleep, feeling safe and sound. I was woken up with a rough shove.
"Wake up, we are doing a prison bust." Fred whispered.
"Okay." I mumbled as he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.
He threw me into the car and I set in the passenger seat.
"Who are we breaking out?" I mumbled as I rubbed my eyes.
"Harry." He explained making me laugh.
I shrugged my shoulders and nodded my head as they drove.
When we arrived Ron tapped on the window to wake up Harry.
"Hiya, Harry." Ron said softly.
"Ron?" Harry asked in shock.
"Fred? George? Ebony? What're you doing here?" Harry asked in shock.
"Rescuing you, of course. Where's your trunk?" I asked with a smile.
When Harry had everything ready, Ron tied a chain to the bars in Harry's window.
"Stand back." Ron said calmly.
Within moments the bars were gone and we were getting Harry's things into the car.
"Hedwig!" Harry called as he rushed to grab his owls cage.
Right as he made it to the window his uncle came through the door.
"Petunia! He's getting away!" The man yelled angrily.
He grabbed a hold of Harry's ankle and I let out a gasp.
"Hold on, Harry!" Ron yelled as George helped him hold onto Harry.
"Oh no, boy! You and that bloody pigeon aren't going anywhere!" The man yelled angry.
I crawled over Fred and reached out and pinched the man's hand, making him drop Harry and fall to the ground into a bush.
"Put your foot down, Fred!" Ron yelled making Fred drive away.
I let out a sigh of relief and set back in my seat.
"By the way, Harry. Happy Birthday." Ron said with a smile.
"Oh yea, Happy Birthday, my dear annoying cousin." I said playfully.
"I love you too." Harry said with a laugh.
I blew him a kiss and he rolled his eyes, trying not to let out another laugh. We made it to the Burrow and tried to stay as quiet as possible.
"Come on. Okay, come on. Shh! Shh! Ok, come on. Shh! Come on." Fred whispered.
"Do you think it'd be all right if we had some of this?" Ron asked grabbing a piece of bread.
"Yeah, Mum would never know." George whispered taking a piece.
"It's not much, but it's home."
"I think it's brilliant." Harry said as he looked around the house.
Just then I heard rushing and let out a yelp as I saw Mrs Weasley.
"Where have you been? Harry, how wonderful to see you dear. Beds empty! No note! Car gone! You could have died! You could have been seen! Of course, I don't blame you, Harry dear or you Ebony, I'm sure they dragged you along."
"Was practically half asleep." I said calmly.
The twins sent me a look and I held back a laugh as I bit my lip.
"They were starving him, Mum. There were bars on his window!" Ron exclaimed.
"Well, you'd best hope that I don't put bars on your window, Ronald Weasley!" She yelled making the boys gulp.
She took a hold of Harry's arm and gently led him to the table.
"Come on Harry, time for a spot of breakfast. Here we are Harry. Now tuck in! That's it. There we go."
"Mum- Mummy, have you seen my jumper?" Ginny asked running down stairs.
"Yes dear. It was on the cat."
Ginny noticed Harry and froze up, causing me and the boys to let out a laugh.
"Hello." Harry said softly.
Ginny took off out of the room, leaving a very confused Harry.
"W-what did I do?" Harry asked with a frown.
"Ginny. She's been talking about you all summer. A bit annoying really." Ron said causing me to hit him over the head.
"Morning, Weasleys." Mr Weasley said walking into the room.
"Morning, Dad." They boys said softly.
"Morning Arthur!" Mrs. Weasley sis cheerfully.
"What a night. Nine raids. Nine!" He exclaimed with a small smile.
"Raids?" Harry asked with a frown.
"Mr. Weasley works in the Ministry of Magic, in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office. He loves Muggles, thinks they're fascinating." I explained as he plopped down on his chair.
"Well now. Aah! And who are you?" Mr Weasley asked with a smile.
"Oh, sorry sir. I'm Harry, sir, Harry Potter."
"Good Lord! Are you really? Well, Ron's told us all about you, of course. When did he get here?"
"This morning. Your sons flew that enchanted car of yours to Surrey and back last night."
"Did you really? How'd it go? Did you-"
"Arthur!" Mrs Weasley snapped angrily.
"I mean...that was very wrong, indeed, boys. Very wrong of you. Now, Harry, you must know all about Muggles. Tell me, what exactly is the function of a rubber duck?"
Before Harry could reply an owl hit the window, causing me to let out a groan.
"Well, that'll be Errol with the post. Oh, fetch it will you Percy, please?" Moly asked softly.
"He's always doing that." Ron mumbled as I took a sip of water.
"Oh look, it's our Hogwarts letters. And they've sent us Harry's as well." Percy explained.
"Dumbledore must know you're here, Harry. Doesn't miss a trick, that man." Mr Weasley said with a chuckle.
"This lot won't come cheap, Mum. The spell books alone are very expensive."
"If you need help, Mrs Weasley I have no problem-"
"We'll manage. Now don't you worry about us young lady. Now there is only one place we're going to get all of this. Diagon Alley." Mrs. Weasley said softly.
