You sighed and watched a few of your team members wonder around Black Dragon's hangout. It was a rather dark room with tables and chairs placed here and there for people to sit down on and a small bar in the corner of the room. A few darts boards were dotted around the room though only one was currently in use. There were five of your guys sat around one of the round wooden tables playing a card game and a large pile of money in the middle. You were sat on the small balcony looking down at everyone from above. You leaned on the railings with Ryuu curled up on your lap in sleep mode. You hadn't slept well at all last night. Dr Tae's pills had worked the first night you got them but after seeing the symbol for Venom Strike last night you couldn't sleep. The pills hadn't been completely useless, you got a couple of hours but not much. You looked at the Black Dragon team mark that was plastered all over the walls. It was an elegantly designed black dragon with it's mouth open in a roar pointing towards the sky, it's bat like wings spread out behind it and stood on it's hind legs with it's claws out ready for a fight and the words 'black dragon' written underneath it in bold black ink. The door to the hideout opened and in came a familiar blonde woman with a cheerful smile. You rolled your eyes when you saw her. That was Megumi or Meg as she like to be called. You had met her before she joined Black Dragon. You found here down a dark alleyway late at night when she was having trouble with a group of drunk thugs that were looking for some 'fun.' You had saved her from that fate and afterwards the girl seemed to be obsessed with you. She found out were you lived and turned up here and there and things only got worst when she found out you were a the head of Black Dragon. She had turned up at the hideout and practically demanded to become a member. You wanted to refuse but really you couldn't. She met the criteria you asked for, she was defiantly loyal, strong despite her appearance and brave. She just needed to learn some self defence so you let her join and afterwards she openly admitted her undying love for you in front of the rest of the team members. Honestly you thought you would die of embarrassment. You'd never been confessed to and you never thought that if it did happen it would be from the mouth of a girl. You told her time and time again that you didn't swing that way but all she did was smile and say that you'll come around.

"Ryuu." You called waking up your sleeping AllMate. "Troubles arrived." You told him. Ryuu flew up into the air and landed on the railing while you stood, ready to make a hasty exist. It was then that she spotted you. She smiled like a manic and began jumping like and excited kid up the stairs.

"(Y/n)!" She screamed as she threw her arms around you neck and hugged you tightly. A few other members of your team looked up and gave you a small sympathetic smile when they saw who called the commotion. You sighed and pushed her off you. "So are you doing anything today? Wanna go out with me? Just for food, maybe to the cinema, then maybe finish the day up with a sweet and beautiful kiss that's starts our relationship which lasts until we die?" She eagerly nodded her head at you, wanting you to actually say yes to her insane proposal. You began to back away slightly.

"Actually I already have plans for today. I only stopped by to see how things are looking over here."

"I'll come with you then. Wherever your going, to keep to company." She said stepping forward.

"No that's cool I have Ryuu to do that besides...I need you to stay here and keep an eye on things. You know, in case anyone decides to start a fight or something and let me know." You said giving her a fake job so you could run. Meg's eyes lit up.

"Okay. I'd be honoured to do a job for (y/n)." She said and then took a seat where you were sat. You smiled and her and walked past her, heading for the door.

"See you later then. Ryuu let's go." You said making your way out of the hideout. When you were outside you let out a sigh of relief. At least she didn't do anything too weird this time. You looked up at the sky and noticed the dark clouds that hung above you, it looked like it was going to rain. Ryuu flew above you and landed on your shoulder, he sometimes liked to sit there like a bird even though he was a little too big to do it. "I think it's going to rain." You told him.

"It will be troublesome of it does. I'll check the weather forecast." He said before falling silent.

"Yeah thanks." You replied only half listening while looking at the dark sky. Suddenly your Coil began to ring, snapping you out of your daze.

"You've got an incoming call from junk shop Mediocrity." Ryuu informed you.

"It's probably Aoba about your new chip." You said revealing you Coil and answering the phone. "Hey Aoba." You greeted him.

"Hi (y/n), the new chip for Ryuu came this morning. It's ready for you to pick up when you've got time." You blinked as you listened to him talk. His voice was...beautiful, enchanting even. You didn't really realise it before but while you listened to him on the phone you did. "(Y/n)?"

"Oh right sorry. I'll come now."

"Okay see you in a bit." He said and then hung up the phone. You looked at Ryuu who still sat on your shoulder.

"It is due to rain today." He told you.

"Then let hope we can get home before it does." You said wrapping your black jacket around you a little tighter. Then you began to walk towards the junk shop...

You opened the shop door to see Aoba sat behind the counter with Ren curled up on the floor beside him. Everything seemed exactly as it had done yesterday. Aoba smiled at you when you came into the shop.

"Hey (y/n)."

"Hi Aoba." You replied as Ryuu flapped his wings and flew from your shoulder onto the floor beside Ren.

"I don't believe you and I officially met yesterday." Ren said to him.

"No I don't believe we did. I'm Ryuu."

"My name is Ren, Aoba's AllMate."

"It's very nice to meet you Ren. Perhaps looking forward you and I can be friends."

"Yes I think that would be nice." Ren replied. You frowned at them and walked forward.

"Overly formal AllMates." You said with a smile. Aoba let out a small laugh as the two AllMates glared at you.

"Oh." Alba said suddenly and began rummaging through the drawers and he pulled out several AllMate chips and placed them on the desk. "Here you go. That's all they had for now."

"Now that's perfect." You said looking at the five identical chips on the desk. That would keep Ryuu going for a while.

"Do you want me to change it for you?" He asked.

"Really? You would?" You asked him with wide eyes. Aoba's cheeks became a light pink colour and he rubbed the back of his head.

"Yeah sure I'm usually good with AllMate stuff."

"Oh okay, then yeah sure that would be great. I'm not so good myself, you should hear how much Ryuu complains when I get something wrong." Aoba laughed and Ryuu flew up onto the counter, laying down ready for his chip to be changed. Aoba opened him up and connected him to the computer.

"I found Ren a while back now in the trash. I picked him up, took him home and managed to fix him."

"Wow that's amazing. There aren't a lot of people that would have fixed an old AllMate instead of buying a new one."

"Yeah I know but I don't think of Ren as just a machine. He's like family to me. I'm guessing Ryuu means a lot to you too. I mean you are prepared to go searching for the right chip for him and everything. Most would tell you it would just be easier to get a new AllMate."

"I know but your right. He does mean a lot." You said looking into Ryuu's eyes. You glanced down at Ren who was looking up at you and bent down. Reaching towards him you gently patted him on the head, making him come closer to you and close his eyes enjoying the affection. "I can see why you saved him. He's adorable."

"Thanks." Aoba said as he detached Ryuu from the computer and placed him on the floor. "There you go, all done." He told you as Ryuu walked around the counter and joined you and Ren on the floor. You smiled at him and patted his head as well before standing up.

"Can I pay electronically?" You asked him.

"Yeah sure. Just scan your Coil against there and you'll be good to go." He said. You smiled and did as he asked. "Okay, here you go." He said picking up the other four chips and handing them to you.

"Thank you." You said as Aoba stood up from the chair and walked around the desk. You quickly gave him and small hug to get across your gratitude. You were surprised when you felt Aoba flinched in pain. You instantly pulled away. "What's wrong?" You asked. His face was pained but there was also a large blush on his cheeks.

"It's nothing you just pulled my hair a little. My hair hurts when people touch it because I have nerves all the way to the end of it."

"R-really I've never heard of that before...I'm sorry I didn't know. I'll be more careful next time."

"Next time? You plan on hugging me again?" He said his face returning back to normal and small smile on his blushing face.

"Well that depends if I feel like it or not." You told him with a smile.

"I guess I'll have to make you feel like it then." He said, nerves clearly present in his voice.

"Alright then. I'll look forward to it. Thanks again, come on Ryuu we have to get going." You said.

"Bye." Aoba called after you.

"Goodbye you two." You said waving at them as you left the shop with Ryuu at your heels. The door closed behind you and you felt yourself sigh heavily. It was raining already, it was heavy too. "Alright Ryuu you can't get wet so I'm wrapping you up." You said taking your coat off and beginning to wrap it around him. If he got wet he'd break, he was a machine after all.

"I'm sorry to cause you so much trouble (y/n). Perhaps I should have checked the weather this morning before we went out. I could have warned you about this then."

"No honestly Ryuu you don't need to worry about it. I didn't ask you to look it up, this is more my fault than yours." Then you stepped put into the rain...
