Lucky was packing all her belongings into her bag quickly. She wanted to leave before the arrival of police. Once they start their investigation she won't be able to get out from this palace. While packing, she found her phone. It had been off until now. As soon as she turned it on, atleast 25 message notifications appeared on her screen one by one. all messeges were from Sweety. So much had happened in the past two days that Lucky hadn't been able to contact her. For lucky, Sweety and Neelam were her only family. Thinking about how worried they must be, she stopped all her works and immediately dialed her number. Before the ring bell properly sweety picked up the phone like she was waiting for her call only.

"Where are you? You didn't even tell us before leaving. What kind of work are you so busy with that you don't even have time to talk to anyone? And why have you kept your phone off?" Sweety bombarded her with questions from the other side.

"Hey... Hey... cool down okay? I'm on my way coming to you right now. You can scold me as much as you want when I am there." Lucky said, trying to appease her. "For now I am allright. It was just my phone get discharged that's why I forgot to call you."

"Save your sweet tooth for Neelam Auntie. She's very upset with you. Come to Sweet Paradise right now. We're both waiting for you here."

"Auntie is here in Jaipur? I mean, how did she find out I'm here?" Lucky glared at the  phone in surprise.

"I don't know that either. She just told me that we urgently need to go to Jaipur. So, we came here."

Sometimes Lucky felt like Aunt Neelam had a third eye. No matter what she is is doing or wherever she is it's always watching all her activities. She hadn't told anyone she was coming to Jaipur, yet Auntie had come here to give her a piece of her mind. Well, she can think about it later. For now the most important thing to do was to go sweet paradise and meet her. She quickly grabbed her bag and left the room. But getting out of this palace was not going to be so easy for her. As soon as she set her foot outside her room her eyes fell on inspector preetam chaddha who was standing in the lobby and talking to some staffs. she immediately stepped back. Her heart was pounding in her chest.

"Again this inspector Chaddha here. I really don't know what sins I have done so god is torturing me by sending him again and again to get me. I should better name him eclipse in my life. This inspector really didn't spare single place where I can go in peace. Oh God... couldn't you find anyone else? If you really had to send someone to stalk me, you could have sent a prince charming. If I had faced him as many times as this inspector chaddha, my love story would have definitely gets started by now," Lucky muttered to herself. She peeked outside slowly. Chaddha had gone towards Virat's room with the constable he came with. Lucky sighed in relief and quickly step her foot outside. But as soon as she reached near the main gate, two tall and broad guards blocked her way.

"What?? I need to go out... move aside," Lucky tried to move forward again, and this time they pointed their long, broad guns at her.

"Show me your pass," one of them extended his hand towards her.

"What??" Lucky looked at them in surprise. "Now I need a pass to go out?"

"It's Virat sir's order. No one can go out without his permission. If you want to go out, go and get his permission letter first." one of them said, pushing Lucky back with the end of his gun. Lucky stumbled back a few steps and stopped.

"So, all this is happening on the orders of that Foreign-returned prince? But he doesn't know that he cant stop wind right? Lucky is like a wind which will blew under his nose and he wouldn't even get a hint of it. It's impossible to stop me." a mischievous smile played on Lucky's lips.

A little while later, Lucky was running fast on the road. She had tightly clutched her backpack to her chest. Getting out of the mansion was no less than breaking through a labyrinth for Lucky. First, she went to the servant quarters and stole a female staff member's clothes. Then she changed her appearance and came out in her true form from the boys' getup. But even after doing all this, there was no scope of getting out through the main gate. So, she went to the back of the mansion. While searching for the library that night, she had noticed a place behind the mansion where there was a small hole in the wall. This place was probably used for the dogs to come and go. Anyway, the hole was so small that it was almost impossible for a person to come or go through it. But Lucky adjusted her slim and athletic body from every angle and finally managed to get out of there. However, before using this route, she had to bribe the mansion's dogs a lot. The amazing training she had received in handling dogs in Palampur came in handy today. Lucky glanced at her watch. It was almost four in the evening. Sweety had asked her to come to the bar by four at any cost. Neelam was also supposed to reach there after finishing her duty at the health camp at the same time. She was already very angry with her, and Lucky didn't want to make them angrier by being late. Running fast, she turned to reach the main road and collided badly with a big luxurious car, for a moment her eyes darkened and she fell down on the road. Due to the collision, her bag also fell from her hand.
Luckily, the car was turning slowly so she didn't get hit hard. So in other moment she get up angrily and scolded the driver,

"Are you blind? Can't you drive properly? You didn't even see a week grown girl in your way?" She stood up, dusting off her clothes.

"Oh hello, madam... you should be the one watching where you're going. Or did you choose this car to die? I was driving straight. It was You who came out of nowhere and collided with the car." the driver said, stepping out of his side of the car.

"I know all your tricks. First, you crash into the rich peoples car, then pretend to be injured and ask for money. But I am telling you your tricks won't work here..."

Lucky felt like beating up this man right there and taking his car to the bar. Anyway, the car looked quite expensive.

"Thank your stars. I don't have a minute to waste on you right now. Otherwise, I would have explained to you that not every accident is the pedestrian's fault. Sometimes, even those driving expensive cars make mistakes. These narrow lanes don't have space for pedestrians, and you filthy rich kids force your big cars to drive in here?" Lucky picked up her bag and stopped an auto coming from the front. Without wasting any second she get in and the auto moved fast to the roads.

"Is everything okay? Who was that girl? Is she hurt?" Jay asked, stepping out of the car.

"Don't worry, sir... these things are very common in the narrow lanes of big cities in India. I told you earlier, we should take the highway. It's difficult to drive such a big car in the lanes of Jaipur." Shobhit expressed his helplessness.

"If we hadn't come through the lanes, how would we have met her?" Jay said softly, looking at the auto moving away.

"Sir... did you say something?" Shobhit looked at him with puzzled eyes, and Jay felt like he had been caught.

"No... I was just saying that we're already very late. My brother must be waiting for us." Jay opened his side door, but then he noticed something shining on the ground. He bent down and picked it up. It was a small golden earring, probably the girl dropped it when she fell on the ground after getting hit by the car. A slight smile appeared on Jay's lips. He took the earring from the ground and put it slowly in his pocket and got into the car. Shobhit immediately drove the car towards the mansion.

"Where are you coming from?" Neelam's stern voice made Lucky realize that she is very angry today. Anyway, she was half an hour late.

"I... I came here for my friend's wedding. By God, what a wedding it was... I had so much fun. I didn't even get time to change. So I came to meet you in the same clothes.. see.." Lucky tried to hide her nervousness by falunting her scarf and jewelleris in front of neelam.

"Really?? Where is your friend? At Tomar Mansion?" Neelam's questioned and  both the girls feels like thunder struck them out.

"How... how did you know..." Lucky somehow managed to ask.

Neelam showed her today's newspaper "Read this..."

Lucky looked at Neelam's face once and then at the newspaper. When she noticed the news on the front page, she was beyond shocked. It had the news of Rajshree's murder at Tomar Mansion along with a big picture in which she was also visible. Although she was in a boy's getup, Neelam still didn't get any trouble recognizing her.

"How many times have I told you to stay away from that cursed mansion? But You still went there? What if something had happened to you?" Neelam's voice was more worried than angry this time. Lucky looked at Neelam with a loving smile,

"Don't worry, aunty... nothing will happen to me. I went there just for a case."

"I know you are a responsible CBI officer, but there are other ways to solve a case. That mansion and the people living there are very dangerous. Just promise me you won't go there again." Neelam said, holding her hand anxiously.

"But why? What's wrong with that palace? And why would anyone want to kill me? I don't know anyone there in the royal family." Lucky looked at Neelam with puzzled eyes. Neelam sighed deeply.

"I never told you, but your father Sanjeev used to work in that mansion."

Lucky was shocked to hear this.
"What did you say?"
"Yes that's true. Your mother and I were childhood friends. She used to share all her problems with me."

"Sanjeev was a very good chef and had a special place in the Tomars' hotel business. Because of his true nature, he became one of Her Highness Urmila Devi's trusted people. He knew many things that only the royal family members were aware of. When I met your mother a little before his death, she was so worried. I asked her, but she didn't tell me anything openly. Then, a few days later, I found out that both of them had died in a tragic accident. Neither the police could find out anything, nor did the Tomars show any special interest in the case. And this case was closed forever."

After that accident, it was Neelam who saved Lucky's life. Lucky had fallen from that small hill onto the road below. She had at least ten fractures and was in such a bad condition that her survival was almost impossible. But Neelam worked day and night to save her. It was because of her efforts that Lucky was standing here alive today. Although she had forgotten many things from her childhood after that accident, but some faint memories still remained in her mind.

"So, you mean to say that the murder in the mansion happened just because that girl used my name?"

"Do you still have doubts?"

"Perfect... now I definitely need to go back there," a victorious smile appeared on Lucky's lips.

"Lucky, did you hear what aunty just said? Your life is in danger there. And you're insisting on going back?" Sweety glared at her angrily this time.

"You're reputed CBI officer. You can investigate this case directly. Why do you need to live among them for that?"

"You won't understand. Sometimes, to catch thieves, you have to become a thief yourself. I went to the mansion for a different case. But if my parents' death has any connection with these Tomars, I will expose their royal facade in such a way that their real face would come out to everyone."

Lucky now turned to Neelam.

"Please forgive me, aunty. But I have to go back to that mansion. But I promise... I will return to you alive and in one piece."

Neelam had tears in her eyes, but she still nodded with a smile.
"Take care of yourself my Sweetheart."

To be continued...
