Chanyeol's POV

I carried her into our lodge, or I'd say, our huge cottage-like house. Lay hyung helped me to open the door of the guest room and I carefully settle Ra In on the bed.

"Don't worry too much. She'll be fine after a few hours of sleep." He gave me a pat on the back before leaving me watching Ra In.

I had doubted Lay hyung's words. And I was right. She wouldn't wake up after a mere few hours, because she woke up one day later. She sat up, clearing her throat. I immediately handed her a glass of water and she eagerly gulped the contents.

"Do you have anything to eat? I'm hungry." She spoke with a hoarse voice, her stomach growling as if to agree.

"Is that the first thing you ask? You're not going to say hi to me after sleeping for a day?" I joked.

"A what?! A day!? Are you serious? Oh my gosh. Yeol, please stop being so full of yourself." She leaned against her pillow.

"You're being a blabbermouth. Seems like you're fine." I'm trying to hide the fact that I'm happy she called me with that endearment she gave me years ago, when we were kids.

Lay hyung just had to be killjoy by entering the room, checking on Ra In.

"Seems like she's perfectly fine. But I'm just going to tell you in advance, Ra In. This might occur when you go back and forth from the Earth and the Planet for the next couple of times before your body adjusts completely."

"Hyung. You're rambling to much. She's not even listening."

"Did I talk to much?" He asks.

"N-no no no no." Ra In waved her hands frantically in front of her, shaking her head vigorously.

"Anyways, since she's up, Suho wants everyone to go down for a gathering." Lay hyung then took his leave, leaving us both in silence.

"So... Do we go down?" She asks.

"Yea... I guess. Oh by the way we don't have clothes for you to change into so we might go shopping later or something." I held the door wide open for her and she scurried past me and went down the stairs.

"Yeol-ah! Where do I go?" She shouted, making me chuckle. I went down the stairs after her.

"Follow me pabo." I pocketed my hands as I led the way to where we designed specifically for meetings.

"Hey Ra In! Good to see you alive and kicking!" Chen clicked his tongue. "You were out cold for a day. I almost snuck in." Kai snickered as he then bursted into laughter with Chen, hi-fiving each other.

"Now everyone stop joking around and take your seats." Suho and Kris sat on both ends of the table.

"Ra In, welcome to the Planet. Here, our powers are stronger. You'll find out yours soon." Suho smiled. How informational. Ra In thought.

"Wait. You guys are human right? How did you get these powers? On Earth?!" Ra In queried.

"Well, you see, we are chosen, to save the Planet. It wasn't easy to master these powers in daily life until we were brought here to officially train and become the Protectors." Suho stood up and suddenly waves of water surrounded him.

"I have the power to control Water."

"Flight." Kris then stood up and suddenly floated mid-air.

"Ice." Xiumin froze the cup in front of him.

"Telekinesis" Luhan raised the cup that Xiumin froze without the use of his hands.

"Healing, but I can't show you as of now." Lay smiled.

"Light." Baekhyun's hands light up in a glaring glow.

"Fire." Chanyeol's hands emitted fire.

"Lightning, but it's dangerous to show you as of now." Chen cackled.

"Earth." D.O made the ground rumble.

"Kyungsoo!" Everyone was startled.

"Sorry." He spoke with those wide eyes.

"Teleportation." Kai swiftly teleported from one end of the room to another before settling in his seat once again.

"Wind." A small tornado formed above Sehun's hands.

"That's all for the introductions to our powers. Shall I get someone to bring you around the area?" Suho kindly asked.

"Uh... If that's okay. I think I need some fresh air and clear my head a little." Ra In held her hands together.

"Chanyeol. You go with her. I know you have some history with her." Some of the boys cooed at them but Chanyeol glared at them, fire cackling from his hands.

"Hyung, please don't burn down the house like the last time. It's not easy rebuilding." Sehun cringed. The fire from Chanyeol's hands then ceased to a spark before disappearing.

"Come on Chanyeol." Ra In stood up with hesitation and they both left the cottage.

"So... How did you know you had powers?" She slowly spoke as she sat down on a bench that was facing a beautiful garden.

"I don't know actually. It just came to me one day and I had accidentally set a bush on fire while planting some flowers." He shrugged as if it was nothing.

"So you were the one who created that fire? I thought it was something else. Was that why you needed to move away?" It was something new and big to Ra In.

"Yea... After moving this guy from this Planet came finding me. Then I was brought to the Facility in Seoul where I met the rest. We became friends and we decided to become performers at a cafe for our controllability  test, since we all had some creativity in music terms. After passing the test we were brought here with the help of Kai but we all passed out for two days. Afterwards we started training before going back home." Chanyeol narrated.

"Wow..." That was the only word Ra Ij could think of.

"Then why am I brought here without knowledge of my powers or training. All I could ever do is just read people's minds."

"You're gifted, born with it." Chanyeol leaned back on the bench, closing his eyes.

After a few minutes of silence, Ra In screamed suddenly, waking Chanyeol up from his little nap.

"Yeol-ah, I think I just burned the flowers." Chanyeol looked at her with wide eyes, then at the flowers. The flowers were a shade of charcoal and were wilted. Ra In had tears spilling out from her eyes in fear as she stared at her hands.

"Fire." Chanyeol whispered to himself.

Is this fate...?
