Y/N P.O.V

I woke up this morning feeling refreshed and full of energy....... ok that last one was a lie but I did felt refreshed. I really did needed to rest after that fight with Eggman. But looking at the bruises and bandages on my arms... it just sent bad memories to me. I got up and put on my jacket to cover it. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Right when I was done I heard a knock on my door. Perfect timing. I opened the door to see Sonic and Tails waiting for me. Tails looked fully recovered. "Hey Y/N. Are you ready?" Sonic asked. "Yeah, I'm ready." And we headed to the Tornado.

(Time skip)

We flew to Mazuri and I've got to say............................. ITS SO HOT HERE! I don't know how anyone can live in this heat. I was really starting to sweat. I was close to taking off my jacket but stopped myself. If I take off my jacket they will see my bruises and bandages. They already feel bad for me. I don't want that feeling to increase even more. We made our way to the temple while waving hi to the people living here. They gave friendly smiles and made us feel welcome. If only that happened in reality.

Even though it was hot here, the scenery did not disappoint at all. It wasn't necessarily the village that caught my eye, it was the nature around the village. It was a beautiful sight to see.

I was sweating like crazy right now. How do Sonic and Tails deal with this heat!? They looked perfectly fine! I was very tempted to take off my jacket but I always remind myself to not do it. Push through! You can do this! You can make it! "Hey, Y/N. Are you okay?" I turned and saw Tails looking at me with concern. I smiled at him. "Yeah. I'm fine." He left me alone after that.

Soon, a giant robot came from above and blocked our path. Wait a minute... that's the Egg Beatle! Eggman started laughing. Sonic got on a running position and started chasing Eggman, leaving me and Tails behind. "Sonic, wait!" I called out. We were about to run after him when I spotted a robot flying by a distance away. Me and Tails looked at each other in suspicion and followed it.

It turned out that the robot was heading to the temple, probably to get the Chaos Emerald inside. We both hid from the robot so that we wouldn't get caught. I summoned a single bone and shot at it with incredible speed. Unfortunately, the robot blocked it by grabbing it and crushing it! How!? It turned to us and got in a fighting stance.

We got out of our hiding spot and got in a fighting stance as well. The robot went to punch us but me and Tails moved out of the way. Tails pulled out his gun (you know, the one that looks like the mega buster but red and yellow?) and started shooting. I summoned more bones and shot at it. It managed to block and dodge all of our attacks. It tried to punch me but I teleported away. I tried again with more bones and sent it to him but to no avail. How is it dodging our attacks so well? Then I got an idea.

I put my hands on the ground and focused. Soon, bones were coming out of the ground. The robot was having a bit of trouble dodging my attack while dealing with Tails' attack. I actually managed to pin it down with a few bones piercing through it, but between the heat and using my power it wasn't to last.

It escaped and was still trying to hit us. I had to resort to using my blasters as a shield. I don't know how long I'll last. Especially in this heat. Just then the blue blue himself destroyed the robot to metal pieces. "You guys ok?" He asked. "Yeah." Tails said. I sighed in relief and de-summoned my blasters and bones. "How was your fight with Eggman?" I asked. He smiled. "Easy! Not even a challenge." Sonic answered.

We went inside the temple and got the yellow Chaos Emerald. Good. I've had enough of this heat. We exited the temple with three Chaos Emeralds in our possession. "Hey, Y/N. Why don't you take off your jacket?" Sonic asked. I hugged my jacket tightly while shaking my head. "This jacket was from my parents. I don't want to take off anything that has a piece of them in it." What I said was half true. He nodded in understanding and we made our way to the Tornado.

I've been really busy with life and my Great Mouse Detective book and my secret one that I didn't have time to do this. But, I promise that I'll update more often than before. I'll see you later!
