Y/N's P.O.V

We got on the Tornado after our encounter with Metal Sonic and took off to continue our mission. I still haven't gotten used to the take off but I like to think I'm improving.

On our way to the next Temple, I decided to eat the food we got from Chun Nan. I was a bit hungry after all of that and I didn't want it to go to waste. I made sure to leave some for Sonic and Tails. I know they would want to eat later. After I was satisfied, I put the remaining food under my seat. I had nowhere else to put it.

The wind was slowly starting to get cold. The wind was always fresh but now it's getting colder by the minute. I pulled the zipper up on my jacket to keep myself warm. I was wondering why it was getting colder until I realized where we were going.

Holaska.

I looked down and saw snow everywhere and some ice on the water. I was enjoying the view and I was starting to get used to the cold.

We soon landed near a village with igloos for houses. We got out the Tornado and made our way to the village. People came out and started to greet us when they saw us. They were so kind to us, even offering me a warmer jacket that they made.

I wanted to decline their offer, but they were so kind that I couldn't. I was going to pay them but they said it was for free. I couldn't help but smile. I said thanks and put the jacket on over my blue on. It was so soft and I felt more warm. I thanked them again and made my way to Sonic and Tails, who watched the whole thing and was smiling.

We made our way to the temple, making sure not to slip on some ice. I was actually surprised that I haven't slipped on ice yet. Until I wasn't paying attention and I slipped and fell.

It really hurt my back when I fell. Who would've known that ice could be this hard. Sonic came up to me and outstretched his hand. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up. "Thanks." I said. Sonic smiled. "It's no problem. Just be more careful." He said. "I know. I've just never been on ice before." I said. (If you have been on ice like ice skating or there's snow where you live, then just pretend you've never experienced snow or ice). "Well, there's a first for everything." Sonic said as he let go of my hand. He started to walk and I followed.

After a bit of walking and not slipping, we were close to the temple. The temple was a bit far away from us but I could make out the entrance. Just as I took one step forward, a robot fell from above and landed I front of me. It scared the heck out of me since I was almost crushed. I took a few steps back to Sonic and Tails and got into a fighting position. I then heard some laughter that made me sigh in displeasure. Eggman.

Eggman floated down next to the robot in his Eggmobile. I glared at him. "Will you just leave us alone!?" I shouted at him. He glared back at me. "Like I'll follow orders from you or your friends!" He shouted back. "But I do need to finish my project, so I made a robot to stop you." He said. Why is his project so important that he needs to keep saying this? "Stop them at all costs!" Eggman ordered the robot before leaving.

I looked at the robot that almost squished me. It looked like a dragon, just made out of metal. It opened its mouth and breathed out ice! I teleported out of the way before it could freeze me. Sonic dodged it by quick stepping and Tails flew up to avoid it. Great. This thing breaths ice. I summoned my blasters and started to shoot. I did some pretty good damage but it wasn't enough.

The dragon continued to shoot ice at us, attempting to freeze us. So far, we haven't been caught in its icy breath. As long as we don't get caught, we'll be good. I continued to shoot at it as Sonic homing attacked it and Tails blasted it with his gun. We did some good damage, even pushing it back a little. But it wasn't to last.

The dragon started to go crazy and shot ice in random directions. It soon became difficult to dodge, especially me and Tails. I would teleport out of the way but would have to teleport again because the ice is coming at me again. With Tails, I know that he'll get tired of flying and dodging and will have to rest. I have to admit, teleporting every few seconds is starting to make me tired. But I have to keep going.

While I was in thought, I wasn't paying attention and saw ice coming towards me. I teleported out of the way but I got my foot frozen in the process. My frozen foot was actually weighing me down and it was hard to move. I then heard Tails yelp.

I looked to where Tails was and saw that both his tails were frozen and was falling. Luckily, Sonic caught Tails before he could hit the ground. I looked at the dragon and saw that it was shooting ice at me now. I summoned some bones and used them as a shield. When Sonic set Tails down and looked over at me, he saw that I was stuck. "Y/N!" Sonic yelled in worry. I looked at him, still having my shield up. "Don't worry about me! Get Tails free!" I yelled as I summoned a bone next to Sonic. He grabbed it and used it to try and break the ice.

I looked back at the dragon and saw it was a taking a short break from shooting ice. I used this time to summon my blaster and fired. The dragon saw and fired back. Now it was a struggle to see who would over power the other. It was a while of my blast and its ice to remain even until my blast was slowly getting towards it. It was too much for the dragon to handle, so it stopped shooting ice and got hit by my blaster. My blast did some good damage on it, to the point where it can no longer shoot ice. By this point, Sonic was done freeing Tails and started to homing attack it. With one final blow, the dragon got destroyed.

When I was sure that it was completely over, I summoned a bone and used to free my foot from the ice. Sonic came over and helped me using the bone I gave him to free Tails. After a while, we managed to get my foot free. My foot was cold and a bit numb but I could walk. "Is your foot alright?" Sonic asked. "Yeah, it's fine. At least I can still walk." I said. He nodded and led the way to the temple.

We went inside and saw the purple Chaos Emerald floating. Sonic grabbed the Chaos Emerald. Only one more left.

When we walked out, Sonic spoke. "That was some impressive fighting back there." He said to me. I looked at him. "I don't think it was that impressive." I said. He looked at me in the eyes. "Of course it was impressive. Especially when you offered to help me free Tails instead of freeing yourself. Your a naturally born hero." Sonic said. I slowly smiled. No one had ever said anything like that for a long time. "Thanks Sonic." I thanked. He smiled. "No problem Y/N." He said.
