Author's Note:

There's going to be some greater and more frequent time jumps from here on out. I will explain what happened between the time jumps (as always). 

It's been two years since Harry and Nova's wedding. 

Everything was amazing. They lived in complete bliss. 

Harry had become more comfortable in his position as a professor. He was home every night by seven at most. 

Teddy was talking more and became more independent. That's at least what he told everyone. He still wandered into Harry and Nova's room with his baby blanket clutched in hand after Fred and George told him a story and scared the poor child half to death. 

The Quidditch World Cup started again in 2000. The Puddlemere Team missed their chance by ten points. Last year, 2001, they made it to the championship, only losing by twenty points. This frustrated Coach greatly, especially since there was proof of the champions cheating. 

But the coming summer, 2002 (It's late August of 2001), Coach is determined to win. Quite frankly, so is the team. 

Speaking of Quidditch, after graduation, Ginny had joined Nova on the Puddlemere Team. She was between the Harpies and Puddlemere. She decided to keep the dream of the 'Chaotic Chaser Duo' and went with the Puddlemere Team. 

This meant Nova and Ginny were the only women to ever play on an all-male team, both becoming icons to young girls around the world. 

Nova has been working with Hermione, who now works in the Department for the Regulation of Magical Creatures, and Kingsley to reform laws. Hermione normally becomes involved when it magical creatures, but she is still a help nonetheless.

Ron was helping Fred and George with their shop. He managed a branch in Norway. He was constantly thinking of becoming an Auror. Hermione was all for him chasing his dream, but Ron was still unsure. 

Speaking of Romione . . .they are officially married. 

And they banned Nova from even speaking at their wedding. 

But when did rules stop Nova Lupin-Black-Potter?

"I've been waiting for these two to get married for years," Nova had said. "The five years I spent trying to get them together was a complete waste. All it took was for me to 'die', a battle to occur, death hanging over our heads, and Ron mentioning the damn house-elves. BAM! Hermione's snogging the living daylights out of Ronald. But hey! They're happy! Fuck this up, Ronald, and I will gladly set Kreacher to murder your sorry ginger arse."

Basically Nova hasn't changed. 

Speaking of house-elves, Binky gave birth to a young boy a week ago. Baby Jeffrey was constantly being stolen by Nova as she would read him stories. Anytime Binky went looking for her son, she would just sigh and go find Nova. 

Nova did not find the jellyfish while on her Honeymoon. Much to Harry's amusement she already had a name and habitat picked out for this jellyfish, or as she wanted to call it, Bob. 

Gina the black bear now had her own room in Potter Manor. It wasn't technically in Potter Manor, but she had a decent-sized clubhouse out back. 

"Any other child wants a dog." Harry had said sassily. "Ours wants a damn black bear."

Nyx still lived at Potter Manor. Yes, Molly still somehow believed Nyx was an oversized garden gnome. 

Shadow and Harry absolutely despised each other . . .still. On a more memorable day, Nova recalls walking into the kitchen to find her husband and her cat hissing at each other. 

Blaise and Theo have yet to become engaged but were going steady.

George married Lilly, a Hufflepuff from his year and a long-term girlfriend. 

Fred and Angelina have yet to progress their relationship past dating.

Oliver changed Alicia Snippet's last name to Wood and was expecting their first child. A son. 

Narcissa and Andromeda have patched things over. Unfortunately, Andy was growing sick. 

Draco started dating Astoria Greengrass. Nova had mixed emotions about her. She hadn't really known the girl, nor had either made the effort to know each other. However, she didn't part take in the genocide of muggle-borns. Nor did she hate (or at least openly hate) muggleborns. 

Luna moved to work as a zoologist for magical creatures. She and Ginny have yet to become engaged, but there wasn't a rush. 

Baby Victoire was now two-years-old. She was already a beautiful little girl with a bubbly personality. However, she has one nasty temper. Victoire has followed the pattern, like many animals and children, and took a liking to Nova, her godmother. 

Neville became the Herbology professor. He has also finally racked up enough courage to asked Hannah Abbot, a Hufflepuff from their year, to be his girlfriend. 

"I'm only helping Nev practice asking Hannah out, darlin," Nova had laughed when he walked in on Neville asking his wife out on a date. Harry was about to kill his colleague, but Nova stepped in. 

"Harry, mate," Neville said shyly. "You're bloody terrifying."

"Who knows, maybe you should practice asking Harry out," Nova laughed before she went on her toes to kiss Harry's cheek. "Well, I'm off to practice."

In heaven, Sirius and Alex have finally become a couple. Making it his revenge plan, Remus made shirts with their ship name across it; Alirius. 

As of right now, Harry, Nova, and Teddy were standing outside a muggle school. As Tonks had requested, Teddy was going to muggle school until he was old enough to go to Hogwarts. 

Seeing as it's September first and classes don't technically start until tomorrow, Harry was able to join them as long as he was there for the feast. 

Today was picture day and the first day of school. This meant Teddy wore a black button-up shirt (the boy couldn't keep white clothes clean longer than five minutes), jeans, and black converses. His blue hair was combed but not so much his hair looked like plastic. 

Nova crouched down so she was his height as she fixed the straps of his backpack. 

"Now, Teddy," Nova began. "What do we say when someone takes our Spiderman lunch box?"

"Please give me my lunch box back," Teddy said proudly. 

"What do we do when they won't give it back?"

"We assess the situation. If we can take it with force without being caught, do as you must. If not, tell an adult and plan revenge for making you show weakness." Teddy stated. 

"I-" Dorcas began. "I'm not sure if I'm proud or concerned."

"Go, Teddy!" Tonks cheered.

Harry tried his hardest to keep the smile off his face. 

"Now, what do we say when someone takes our chocolate?" Nova questioned. 

"I think the fuck not you trick arse bitch," Teddy stated strongly with immense attitude.

"GO TEDDY!" Remus shouted. "That's the way of life right there."

"Atta, boy!" Nova grinned. 

"Nova, no!" Harry hissed. 

"Fist bump," Nove ignored Harry. 

"Bye, Mum! Bye, Dad!" Teddy yelled before walking into the school. 

That night, Nova was tucking Teddy into bed while Harry was finishing up his last preparations 

Wall stickers of astronauts and space shuttles decorate Teddy's light grey walls (they were repainted). A mural of outer space decorated Teddy's ceiling. The planets. The stars. The galaxies. It had taken Dean nearly a week to finish, but he was happy to do it. 

Much like Nova loved pirates, Teddy loves astronauts and aliens. 

He loved them so much there were only two things that weren't space-related (not including furniture). 

The picture of Remus and Tonks that stood on his dresser and the lioness stuffed animal Nova gave him years ago. 

"Mum," Teddy whispered as Nova sat next to him with a book in her hand, ready to read him a story. "Instead of a storybook, could you tell me about my parents?"

Nova and Harry were planning to wait until Teddy was seven to tell him about his parents. However, the young boy showed a deeper understanding much sooner. 

"What do you want to know?" Nova asked. 

"What were they like?"

"Well, your mother, Tonks or Dora," Nova began with a soft smile. "She was very brave and very kind. She knew how to make you laugh too. She was a huge clutz. Drove everyone made when her clumsiness would wake up Granny Greatest.

"Your Pa was also my Pa," Nova said with a sad smile. "He was a very brave man that had society against him. He had a condition called lycanthropy. He'd turn into a werewolf when the moon was full. He once believed he was a monster, but he isn't."

"Will I turn into a werewolf?"

"No. Your mother's metamorphagus genes, which you inherited, cancel them out," Nova informed. 

"What about the Marauders?"

"Well," Nova began. "There were four of them. Padfoot. Moony. Prongs. Wormtail. They were the biggest troublemakers to ever face Minnie. Pa was Moony, after his werewolf side. Harry's dad was Prong because he could turn into a reindeer-"

"It's a stag!"

"My Da was Padfoot because he could turn into a large black dog at will." Nova paused. "It's kinda similar to when I turn into a lion."

"What about Wormtail?"

"He could turn into a rat. He did something very very cruel and mean to his friends, but that's a story for an older Teddy." Nova smiled softly. "They were the best of friends. Now I didn't get to know them or at least until I was older. But I can tell you a story of what Minnie told me."

Teddy curled into Nova's side as she told the story. 

Slowly, Teddy was lulled to sleep.

September turned into October. Nova, as always, stood outside ready for Teddy to come out of school. 

She saw her blue-hair son clad in his yellow ducky boots running full speed towards her. 

"'Ello, Teddy Bear," Nova greeted with a grin. 

"I punched Tyler."

"Okay . . ." Nova furrowed her brows. "Why'd you punch him?"

"He was throwing wood chips at me," Teddy looked down. "I asked him to stop, and he didn't. So I punched him in the nose."

"It was wicked!" James grinned. 

"I don't see the problem," Nova declared. "You simply stood up for yourself, Teddy."

Teddy smiled. 

A woman cleared her throat behind Nova, attempting to get her attention. It sounded like Umbitch to Nova, but that bitch was in Azkaban. 

"Can I help you?" Nova turned around raising an eyebrow. 

The two women wore extremely different clothing. The woman before Nova wore a purple flower dress, similar to the one Aunty Muriel liked to wear. Her brown hair was pulled into a tight bun on the top of her head. Nova, on the other hand, wore faded ripped blue jeans with a black t-shirt. Her tan leather jacket shielded her from the cold. Golden wire-rimmed sunglass sat upon her nose, protecting her eyes. 

"This is going to be good," Marlene smirked. "Oi! Reg! Get the popcorn!"

"Are you Teddy's mother?" she asked. Distaste was laced in Teddy's name. 

Nova already hated the woman. 

"Yes," Nova confirmed. 

"Your son hit mine," the woman stated.

"Wha- Are you Tyler's mother?" Nova asked. 

The scarecrow woman nodded. 

"Did you angel of a child tell you the whole story? Or did he just tell you his side?" Nova looked at the woman over her sunglasses. 

"The whole story! Do you peg me as a fool?" the woman cried shrilly. 

"It's a simple question," Nova assured. "I heard from my son he did punch Tyler-"

"Ah ha!"

"-because your child was throwing woodchips at him. After asking him to stop, Tyler continued to throw woodchips. That's when Teddy reacted."

"He should be punished!"

"For what?" Nova raised a brow. "Standing up for himself? My husband and I have been teaching our son to stand up for what's right. For what himself and what he believes in. You're asking me to go against what I've been teaching him?"

"I'm demanding you control your son!" The woman sent a scathing look to Teddy. 

The fucking audacity, Nova thought to herself as she moved to stand in front of Teddy.

"The fucking audacity," Remus growled. 

"You can't demand anything of me," Nova stated. "I'm sorry you're raising a bully that comes crying to his mother when someone else has the guts to stand up for themselves."

Nova laughed internally about how similar it sounded to her cousin; Draco Malfoy. 

"You-"

"I'm simply stating the truth," Nova informed. 

"You are a terrible mother!" The woman screeched. 

"Okay," Nova shrugged. 

"You shouldn't let your son dye his hair!"

"It's his favorite color and he wanted it that way," Nova rolled her eyes. "It shouldn't matter what I allow my son to do. Maybe you should focus more on your son that just licked the bench than on what I permit and do not permit my child to do."

"Come on, Teddy," Nova grabbed Teddy's hand and they began walking away. She waved at Tyler's mom sarcastically. "See you next time!"

"I can make your life miserable!"

"You do that!"
