It was finally my last year and I had no idea what I was going to do next. I had learned almost everything about DADA and I had become top of my class.

"I can't believe we are graduating today!" Luna exclaimed happily.

"Same.... I never thought that this day would happen." I said with a smile.

"Ladies!" A voice exclaimed happily.

I laughed as Henry Potter walked up to us and wrapped his arm around me.

"Henry what do you want?" I asked with a smile.

"Well I wanted to see if you would go out with me." He said with a smile.

"Sorry, but you're not my type. I'm into mature men." I said with a smirk.

"Ouch! My pride! I thought we had something." He said with a smile.

"Friendship. That is all we have." I said as I walked away.

"You'll come around Scamander!"

"Never in a million years!" I called back to him.

I laughed as I walked away and made my way to the DADA room. I knocked on the door and smiled as I was told to come in. When I walked into the room I saw Professor Dumbledore cleaning up.

"Do you need some help Professor?" I asked softly.

"I always enjoy your help." He said as he sent me a smile.

I started to help him clean and smiled softly as I bent down to pick up a piece of paper and looked up at him.

"Stay." He said as his eyes met mine.

"What?" I asked shocked.

"I mean.... stay and become my apprentice.... I know you said you didn't know what to do after you graduated.... and I could use some help." He said quickly.

"I'd like that." I said as I stood up and sent him a smile.

"Good..... I enjoy your company." He said softly.

"I... I should get going.... I don't want to worry anyone." I said a so turned and walked out of the classroom.

I smiled happily as I stopped and leaned against the wall. I let it a little squeal and spun around as I jumped up and down.

"Why are you so happy?" A voice asked.

I stopped jumping and turned to see Theseus. My smile disappeared and a frown appeared.

"Why do you care? Do you want to ruin my life more?" I asked as I pushed past him.

"Come on Lizzy! You can't still be mad." He said as he grabbed my arm.

"You ruined any chance I had of making friends! You embarrassed me in front of the whole school! Of course I am mad!" I snapped.

"It was a little prank."

"A little prank? You locked me into the boys bathroom without clothes! And then you put a boggart in there with me! If it wasn't for Professor Dumbledore..... there is no telling what would of happen." I said as I pushed past him.

"I said I was sorry! I was angry!"

"I don't care! I will never forgive you...... you knew what I was scared of and you told everyone...... you broke the sibling code..... I can't forgive you." I said as I walked away from him.

Soon it was time for us to go to the great hall and I was stopped by Dumbledore.

"Professor? What's wrong?" I asked softly.

"I have something for you.... a gift." He said as he handed me a box.

I gently opened it and smiled as I saw a necklace with a locket with a Phoenix on it. I opened it and smiled as I saw the picture of me and Dumbledore in my sixth year.

"It's beautiful..... you didn't have to do this." I said softly.

"It has a protection charm on it.... it will protect you from any dark magic." He said as he picked it up and put it around my neck.

"Thank you..... I love it." I said as I leaned up and kissed his cheek.

"We should go inside. Don't want to worry anyone." He said softly.

I nodded my head and smiled as I walked into the great hall and set down beside Abraham. I quietly listened to Headmaster Black and I smiled as I saw my mom waving at me from beside Newt and Theseus. I turned back to look at Headmaster Black and smiled as I saw Professor Dumbledore smiling at me. Soon Professor Dumbledore stood up and I set up straight.

"For the past seven years I have watched one student very closely. I have watched you all grow, but I have seen her grow more. She is one of the bravest and kindest students I have yet to ever taught.... and because of this I have offered her a job as my apprentice, Elizabeth Scamander will you please stand up?" Dumbledore asked with a smile.

I sent him a small smile and I stood up. He motioned for me to walk up to him and I slowly made my way towards him.

"With this diploma I appoint you as my apprentice and I pass you." He said as he handed me the diploma.

"Thank you sir... I won't let you down. " I said with a smile.

"I know you won't." He said as he sent me a wink.

Not many people knew why he choice me as his apprentice, to be honest I don't know myself. there were brighter minds and more skilled wizards and witches in my class. There were many times I wanted to ask him, but I choice not to.

"Elizabeth can you hand me that scroll over there?"

I turned to see Dumbledore pointing to a scroll on the table. I smiled as I picked it up and walked up to him.

"Here you go Professor Dumbledore." I said as I handed it to him.

"Elizabeth... for the third time today.... call me Albus." He said with a smile.

"Sorry.... Albus." I said as he took the scroll.

"Much better." He said as he got back to work.

I smiled as I shook my head and walked back over to my desk and started to work on my next project.
