At another part of Ninjago was Kaya sitting and looking at things that makes a good wife and wrote it down on her arm while eating rise.
Kaya: Quit and demure. Gracefull, polite, delicate, refined poised. Punctual!
The rooster galed making Kaya worried. She ran out of her room.
Kaya: Little brother! Little brother!
She then saw Little brother who was a dog.
Kaya: There you are. Who's a smart boy? Care to help me with my chores today?
The dog barked as Kaya tied a rope to his coller with a sack of chicken food. She then tied a fishingpole with a bone to him. He saw it and ran after it. The sack had a hole in it making it drop food to the chicken.
At their family temple was Kaya's father Ray sitting and praying.
Ray: Oh honoreble ancestors. Please make Kaya impress the matchmaker today.
Little brother ran around him and after came the chicken.
Ray: Please, please help her.
Kaya walked to him with tea, she helped Little brother get the bone.
Kaya: Father i've got your-
She accidentely bumped into him making the teapot and cup fly in the air. Raymond chaught it. But the cup broke.
Ray: Kaya.
Kaya pulled out another cup.
Kaya: Brought a spare.
She poured him some tea.
Ray: Kaya.
Kaya: Remember the doctor said three cups of tea in the morning.
Ray: Kaya.
Kaya: And three at night.
Ray: Kaya. You should allready be in town. We're counting on you to-
Kaya: Uphold the family honor. Don't worry father. I won't let you down. Wish me luck.
She ran off.
Ray: Hurry!
He then looked at Little brother.
Ray: I'm gonna pray some more.
In town was Kaya's mother and sister waiting for her.
Washer: Maya. Is your oldest daughter here yet? The matchmaker isn't a paitiant woman.
Maya: Of all days to be late. I should have prayed to the ancestors for luck.
Nya walked up to her.
Nya: What luck can they give? They're dead. I got all the luck we need.
She held a cage with a cricket.
Nya: This is your change to show how lucky you are.
She closed her eyes and walked over the street almost getting hit.
Maya: Nya no!
Nya continued to walk and was on the other side unharmed. She opened her eyes.
Nya: See? This cricket is a lucky one.
The cricket was shaking in fear.
Nya: I'm gonna use him when it's my turn with the matchmaker.
Maya sighed at her youngest daughters stunt. She then heard a horse and saw Kaya riding on it dirty.
Kaya: I'm here!
Maya glared at her.
Kaya: What? But mom I had to.
Maya: Non of your excuses. Now let's get you cleaned up.
They walked inside the house and then a song started.
This is what you give me to work with?
Well, honey, I've seen worse
We're going to turn this sow's ear
into a silk purse
She took of Kaya's clothes and throwed her into a bathtub.
Kaya: It's freezing.
Maya: It would have been warmer if you where in time.
We'll have you washed and dried
Primped and polished
till you glow with pride
Trust my recipe for instant bride
You'll bring honor to us all
Maya took Kaya's arm and saw the writing.
Maya: Kaya. What's this.
Kaya: Notes. Incase I forget something.
Nya handed Maya the cricket.
Nya: Here mother hold this. You're gonna need more luck than I thought.
Next Kaya got her hair fixed.
Wait and see
When we're through
Boys will gladly go to war for you
With good fortune
And a great hairdo
You'll bring honor to us all
As Kaya and Maya walked to the next place did Kaya help an old man win.
A girl can bring her family
great honor in one way
By striking a good match
And this could be the day
Next up was Kaya's outfit.
Men want girls with good taste
Calm
Maya: Obedient
Who work fast-paced
Maya:With good breeding
And a tiny waist
You'll bring honor to us all
Maya and Kaya walked through town. Kaya saw some boys taking a doll from a girl. She took it and gave it back to the girl.
We all must serve our Emperor
Who guards us from the Huns
A man by bearing arms
A girl by bearing sons
Now was Kaya's makeup.
When we're through
You can't fail
Like a lotus blossom
Soft and pale
How could any fellow
Say "No Sale"
You'll bring honor to us all
Maya put a comb in Kaya's hair.
Maya: There - you're ready
Nya came.
Nya: Not yet
An apple for serenity
A pendant for balance
Beads of jade for beauty
You must proudly show it
Now add a cricket just for luck
And even you can't blow it
Kaya walked outside.
Ancestors
Hear my plea
Help me not to make a
fool of me
And to not uproot
my family tree
Keep my father standing tall
She followed other girls who was meating the matchmaker.
Scarier than the undertaker
We are meeting our matchmaker
Destiny
Guard our girls
And our future
as it fast unfurls
Please look kindly on
these cultured pearls
Each a perfect porcelain doll
Please bring honor to us
Please bring honor to us
Please bring honor to us
Please bring honor to us
Please bring honor to us all
They reached the place and kneeled down. Kaya was nervous and thougt. Would she be aproved by the matchmaker or not?
