Then the matchmaker ran outside.
Matchmaker: Put it out! Put it out!
Kaya came and throwed tea on her, she handed the teapot and walked away to her mother and sister. The matchmaker was mad.
Matchmaker: You are a disgrace! You may look like a bride. But you will never bring your family honor.
People walked away whispering as Maya and Nya conforted Kaya who was sad that she failed. They came home where Ray was waiting when he saw Kaya she hid her face in guilt. She took her horse to give it water and started to sing.
Look at me,
I will never pass for a perfect bride, or a perfect daughter.
She saw her mother tell Ray what happened and they hang their heads.
Can it be,
I'm not meant to play this part?
Now I see, that if I were truly to be myself,
I would break my family's heart.
Who is that girl I see, staring straight back at me?
Why is my reflection someone I don't know?
She walked to the temple of ancestors.
Somehow I cannot hide
Who I am, though I've tried.
When will my reflection show, who I am, inside?
She removed her makeup on half of her face. Then the other. Lastly she let her hair down.
When will my reflection show, who I am inside?
She sat by a cherry tree when her father came.
Ray: My my. What beautiful blossoms we have this year.
He then pointed at a flower that hasn't blommed yet.
Ray: And look this one's late.
Kaya looked.
Ray: I bet that when it blom. It will be the most beautiful of them all.
He put the comb in Kaya's hair making her smile a little.
