Cole walked out and saw that the recruits was fighting.

Ronin: Most impressive.

The general jumped onto his horse.

General: Good luck Captian.

He ride off with some tropes. Cole then looked at the fighting recruits and then Ronin who was smiling.

Ronin: Day one.

He walked forward.

Cole: Soldiers!

Everyone stopped and Cole saw that Kaya was on the ground protecting herself. He walked up to her.

Cole: Atleast you didn't join.

Kaya faked her voice.

Kaya: Yeah I didn't want to give you a bad expression. You know how it is.

Cole: What's your name?

Kaya: It's Ka- Kai. Yeah Kai.

Cole: Kai?

Kaya: Yeah.

Cole: Let me see your scroll.

She handed him the scroll and he read it.

Cole: Ray. Ray Smith?

Ronin: It didn't know he had a son.

Kaya: He doesn't talk about me much.

She tried to spit but it didn't go well. Lloyd facepalmed while the others looked at her cringed.

Ronin: I can see why. The boy is an absolute lunetic.

The other recruits laughed well except for Zane.

Cole: Ok Gentlemen. Tonight everyone will pick up every grain of rise. And tomorrow the real work begins.

He walked off and Jay and Zane walked up to Kaya.

Jay: Sorry for bringing you into our mess.

Zane: Yeah sorry.

Kaya: It's ok. Let's get this started.

They started to pick up the rise. The next morning Kaya was still sleeping in her tent that was by a tree. The cricket was sleeping in her shoes. Lloyd grabbed it and made it sound like a alarmclock making Kaya wake up.

Lloyd: Rise and shine sleeping beauty. Come on get up. Get your clothes on. Get ready. I got breakfeast for you.

He handed Kaya a bowl of pourigh, egg and bacon.

Lloyd: Got you pourigh and it's happy to see you.

Kaya: Am I late?

Lloyd put food in her mouth.

Lloyd: No time to talk. No remember this is your first day of training. So listen to your teacher and no fighting. Be nice to other kids unless they wanna fight, then you kick their butt.

Kaya: But I don't wanna kick some other kids butt.

Lloyd: No Talking with your mouth full. No give me your war face.

Kaya couldn't do much with food in her mouth.

Lloyd: I think my bunny slippers just ran away. Come is that all you got!?

Kaya did a scary face making Lloyd fly away.

Lloyd: That's What i'm talking about. Now go out there and make me proud.

He fixed Kaya's hair and the horse sounded.

Lloyd: What's do you mean the tropes kust left?

Kaya: They what!?

She quickly put her clothes on and went outside. Lloyd followed her with the sword.

Lloyd: Wait you forgot your sword. My little girl out to destroy people.

At the training was the other recruits standing and talking. Jay then saw Kaya.

Jay: Look like someone slept in.

Zane: Good morning Kai. You must have dreamed good.

Cole: Soldiers!

Everyone stood in a line while Cole walked up to them with his upper body shirtless. When Kaya saw him she felt something weird in her stomache. But she shoke it off thinking ut was just Lloyd's breakfeast.

Cole: You'll assamble quickly and silently every morning. Anyone who answers otherwise, will answer to me.

Jay: Wow big complex much?

Cole: Jay.

Cole prepared an arrow and everyone except Jay backed away thinking he would get shot. But Cole shot the arrow to the top of a pole.

Cole: Thank you for volentering. Retrieve the arrow.

Jay: Ofcourse. Easy enough.

He was about climb but Cole stopped him.

Cole: Wait a minute. You seem to miss something.

He took out two weights and tied them around Jay's hands.

Cole: This represents discipline. And this represents strengh. You need both to reach the arrow.

Many tried to reach the arrow but failed. Cole sighed.

Cole: We got a long way to go.

He started to sing.

Let's get down to business--to defeat the Huns! (Hah!)

The training with bo staffs didn't go well. Kaya accidentely knocked the others out. The other training didn't go well either.

Jay: I'm never gonna catch my breath

Zane: Say good-bye to those who knew me

Jay: Boy was I a fool in school for cutting gym

Lloyd: This guy's got 'em scared to death

Kaya: Hope he doesn't see right through me

Random recruit: Now I really wish that I knew how to swim!

The rest of training didn't go well. As they where carrying heavy weights on a staff Kaya fell and Cole took her staff with weights.

Time is racing toward us till the Huns arrive

Later that night was Kaya determent to get the arrow. Then she figured it out and locked the weights onto eachother and she got up. The others looked att her with surprised and cheered for her. Even Cole was impressed.

Now the training went great. Everyone got motivation thanks to Kaya.
